👍👍 It has been so amazing to join this community of folks at Yoga District. Coming as a novice to yoga I never felt judged or unsupported in these classes. I started with the BIPOC Saturday classes which was such a good soft landing for me starting my practice. Yoga District has a variety of class type... I discovered my love for yoga here after medically retiring from the military last year. Yoga District is amazing because they provide yoga classes at a reasonable price. Other yoga studios nearby and around DC can be very expensive. The H Street location is walk-able from where I live, and has different styles of yoga for everyone. My interactions with the instructors and other students have been positive. I'm thankful that I discovered this place!

Good spot. Just make sure you know what you are doing cause if you're a beginner it's probably not the place for you. But I like the classes I've done.

I don't get to do yoga very often due to my schedule and your class was easy to follow along, was challenging enough when I wanted it to be, and the studio was very unique. If my schedule permits I will definitely be coming back soon.

A small spot for yoga with knowledgeable instructors for a cheap price. As of this post the monthly unlimited fee is around $100. That includes yoga at the H Street location and all the others. Classes are available all day for different skill levels. Highly recommended.

Beware the one-month introductory offer with this studio, which requires a three week advance notice before they automatically charge you for a full membership.

Really nice yoga studio and not overpriced for a drop-in. I went when i was in town for work and felt very welcome. Will come next time I'm in DC!

Great instructors, beautiful studio, and amazing organization! They are very community based with flexible fair prices, a mix of classes from easy to challenging (they have different levels you can check online for each class type) and at all different dates and times. As someone who's never been to an in person yoga class, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I will say, each class and instructors are different so having basic knowledge of yoga poses is very helpful to know beforehand (but not necessary). I would suggest taking different classes to fit your pace and needs! Overall love Yoga District!

Love love love this studio! It’s one of the most affordable studios in DC while still having quality instructors and classes! All of the people I’ve met there have been very kind as well. The entrance is behind the pub on H street where there’s a little courtyard. Just open the door and go up the stairs. 🙂 If you can catch a class with Andrew here, I highly recommend it.

Awesome studio! The Yoga District Community is AMAZING. I love that they specify the difficulty/level of their classes before you attend, so you'll know what to expect. The teachers here have such great knowledge and expertise to guide the students into a safe wholesome practice. The space is so inclusive and holds safe space for BIPOC community members, which is taught by Aaron, and amazing teacher!

H Street studio is my favorite YD studio (though all are great!). It’s the perfect ambiance with plants galore, wood floors, brick walls, and plenty of natural lighting. It really helps to get into the yoga mindset, especially when coupled with the amazing YD teaching staff! 10/10 recommend

I love Yoga district! I've been doing their classes since 2019, and they offer a wide variety of classes for various levels and in different styles. I've never had a bad class with them. My favorite teacher is Edgar, who's absolutely amazing and inspiring. He brings several years of experience with him, and his classes are always immersive, spiritual experiences! Thanks Edgar, and thanks to all the teachers in Yoga district!

This is my favorite studio. Prices are really good and all of the instructors are super nice. The location is really central. It’s a 3rd story walk-up and you enter through the back garden. Hardwood floors with lots of natural light. They don’t use mirrors. Love it

I have taught and practiced at this studio for years. The space is clean and inspiring. I so appreciate the community here, both teachers and students alike. Class offerings are diverse-suitable for beginner practitioners and advancing practitioners alike. I will note that to enter the studio requires climbing a set of stairs.

Interactions felt impersonal, unprofessional, and transactional. Be careful in interactions with this business.

Very chill yoga experience. Mats, blocks, water, all available. Exposed brick and lots of windows with second floor privacy (no one staring in). Andrea is awesome.

Love this studio! Wide variety of classes to build strength or unwind, beautiful space, warm staff - AND the most affordable prices I've seen anywhere in DC. The community vibes here just can't be beat.

My favorite yoga studio (: The instructors are all so friendly and welcoming. They usually take requests before the practice if there’s any specific things you want to focus on which is awesome. The space can get packed on certain days but everyone always makes the best out of it. Overall amazing vibes and I always leave feeling great!

This is my first time taking yoga classes, and I’m loving it! The instructor, Aaron, does a great job of tailoring each class to the students , offering detailed help if needed, and just generally fostering a positive/fun atmosphere and community. He encourages making connections in class and tends to remember small details about students and will follow up weeks later, which I really appreciate. The class is usually made up of students with a wide range of yoga experience but it always seems to work really well for everyone. The studio is also clean and nicely set up. No complaints at all. I’d recommend this class to anyone!

I enjoy the space and community at Yoga district, extremely welcoming and accomodating for all levels and skill sets, I enjoy practicing in a multilevel environment where both teachers and students attend class, After falling out of practice for years I am grateful for the safe and clean space! The instructors are welcoming and stay after to answer any questions you have as well. 10/10 recommend

Amazing studio on H ST. Quiet large open floor space, bright sunny, no mirrors! Every instructor I’ve worked with has been wise, created a peaceful and fun environment, and offers unique perspective.

I have been taking classes virtually from YD since the pandemic. Thank goodness for the virtual, as I live in CT! I very much enjoy all of the classes I take and I think the instructors are the best I have had at any Yoga establishment. My usual classes are Jennifer A’s Serene Moon Flow with sound bowls on Sat ( 5:00 ) Greg’s 10:30 gentle class on Sun., Sarah A’s 12:30 gentle on Monday and Deb’s 6:15 Gentle on Tuesday at 6:15 pm. Also I have taken classes with Lorena. As I said the instructors are top-notch! The virtual system works well ( with few glitches), my monthly debit is done flawlessly. I just wish that they would a a couple more gentle/restorative classes. YD does not disappoint!
