Firstly the food was incredible. Chef George is very talented and I highly recommend his culinary creations especially the homemade sorbets in the end. Everything we ate was delicious. He was very friendly and spoke with us towards the end of our meal. Everything in the restaurant is made from scratch. The ambiance is wonderful and there’s a direct view of the amazing clock tower on a very quaint street. The waitress was very helpful and courteous as well. It was my favorite dining experience in Tbilisi. I will be back soon hopefully.

Probably the best culinary experience in Georgia. Food, location, service, everything absolutely spot on. Parmigiana was divine! Chacha cured salmon mandatory! Even though this place might be slightly pricey for Tbilisi, it’s worth every penny. Could not recommend enough.

We went this wonderful restaurant tonight and had an unforgettable experience. Food is outstanding, service is very good. Chef Giorgi came and introduced himself to us and we had very nice talk. I have not enough words to describe how good food was. Highly recommended! I wish the best of luck to whole team and chef Giorgi!

Simple food done amazingly! Beef cheeks is a must, chicken and eggplant were amazing too. Such a shame they didn’t have sea bass..would have been the perfect meal then. Absolutely enjoyed the basque cheesecake, mandarin crème brûlée and chocolate cremeux. We ended up ordering berries and cream as it’s their signature dessert but that was our least favourite dish. This place is a must try! Homemade lemonade was pretty amazing as well.

The first restaurant I tried when visiting Georgia and I'm not disappointed. Great food, but the service was a bit slow even though it was empty on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered Georgian salad lamb kebab, and both were good.

We visited this restaurant twice. It’s not a place with traditional Georgian food, but we don’t really enjoy eating in Georgian restaurants that much so OtsY was a perfect place for us. The food was delicious, we especially recommend goat cheese salad, mushroom with cheese cloud, piglet and trout. We also tried lamb with potatoes and beef cheek, both were good but not exceptional. Anyway, if you’re in Tbilisi this restaurant is a must. Everything was perfect, the staff was friendly and the overall climate was pleasant. I’d say that the place the restaurant is situated in is a bonus because it’s beautiful. I must add that the restaurant is on the pricey side so take it into consideration. It’s worth the money though.

Amazing food! Every dish was a culinary masterpiece. Best food we had for a while and for a very competitive price; very low for western standards. I found it a michelin star worthy dining experience. Besides the food, our hostess was amazing! Full of energy, enthusiasm and friendliness. We totally loved her. Highly recommended!

Easily the best meal we had in our entire week long trip around Georgia. The kind of place that you absolutely trust the chef with every menu item because everything is so good. Only point to note is that the mains took slightly over an hour to be served, so make sure you have plenty of time when you dine here. Definitely recommended!

Truly deserving of the 5 stars. By far the top restaurant in Tbilisi. Unique flavours blend with Georgia flare! Sat on second floor for more ambient atmosphere. An absolute must visit. Ordered the beef cheek, trout, mushroom soup, avocado crab roll. And our favourite must have, grilled vegetable on cake pastry.

Classy restaurant right in the old town and most touristic area. That usually is a red flag for me, but in this case it proved me wrong. Here I had wonderful and tasty beef cheeks with smashed potatoes and carrots. The meat was so tender and delicious. Wow! A memorable dish. Prices are on the top range of the city, but are reasonable given the quality of the products and service provided. Please try this place

It was incredibly delicious! Everything was perfect - service, wine, food, atmosphere. One of the best places in Tbilisi, where I have been.

We had a very nice experience for lunch. The Pkhali was super delicious on a hot day and the dry white wine went so well with it. Our waiter was also very attentive and the breeze was comforting through the corridor near the old church. I wish they had a sign for their restaurant so it is easier to find. But amazing food.

Everything was perfect, from the attentive and kind service to the food, rose wine, desert and ambiance. The Italian rosé, crème brûlée, shrimp dish and crab avocado salad really stood out but everything was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning soon.

Glad that we decide to go before leaving Tbilisi, the cuisine is modern Georgian food, less salt, decent taste. We love all menu we ordered, really enjoy the meals, dessert and coffee too. Sitting inside, warm and cozy.

Very special restaurant opened recently and already deserved high evaluation. Dishes are very different from the traditional ones, but are very tasty and delicious. Good selection of wine makes any gathering a real joy. Staff is very attentive and friendly. We were with our guests from abroad and they loved restaurant as well. After leaving the restaurant you can enjoy the walking in the old city, which adds unique flavour to the unique dishes you tasted in the restaurant.

Had the crying tomato for starter - recommended by the server and it was very good. And the braised beef with mash, very tender and mash was soft and smooth. Wanted to get a tarragon lemonade but they didn’t have any, however the server went above and beyond to provide basil lemonade instead. Great service and food, would love to come back again.

After researching the best Tbilisi restaurants I settled on OtsY for its creative approach to Georgian cuisine. The reviews gushed as much about the food as the service, and afterwards I could see why: Katia, the hostess, welcomes you with a warm smile full of sincerity, happy to help with anything that’s needed. Giorgio, the head chef, is equally gracious, coming out to speak with guests and even clear plates as needed (his hats aren’t limited to the chef’s toque!) He generously took time to indulge my questions on his masterful bread plate made with natural leavening (no yeast) true to artisan traditions (which earned much respect from me as a sourdough baker myself). If you’re a bread enthusiast, this dish should not be missed as it contains some of the best rye bread, fruit/nut bread, and cornbread I’ve ever had. The eggplant was also sublime, enrobed in a rich tomato sauce and perfectly gratinated with Georgian cheese. Salmon cured in chacha (local liquor) was also special. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t pass up this gem of Tbilisi.

I wish I could give it 5+ stars. By far, the best culinary experience of my life. The food to remember and for sure a place I will revisit next time I am in Tbilisi. Achma is a must to try.

This was a new place for us in Tbilisi but after reading great reviews and it really has been hyped so we decided to give it a chance. This place absolutely blew us away!!!!! All the hype is not for nothing, AMAZING and food and a cool vibe at the restaurant. Service was top-notch with friendly staff that was very patient with our group of 11 people. Make yourself a favor and visit this restaurant if you get a chance.

Unparalleled Upscale Dining Excellence in Tbilisi Embarking on a gastronomic journey at the hands of Chef Giorgi Ninua is a true revelation. Renowned for his ability to seamlessly blend traditional Georgian cuisine with contemporary nuances, Ninua's creations never fail to enthrall his guests. Two particularly memorable dishes that warrant attention include the "shkmeruli" - a savory chicken dish expertly paired with a unique garlic caramel sauce, and the "suki" - an incredibly tender beef fillet cooked to perfection. Both plates are not just meals, they are experiences, presented with craftsmanship and ingenuity indicative of the chef's keen culinary artistry. Adding to the allure is the exquisite selection of Georgian wines. A pleasant surprise was the introduction of Château Mukhrani Parfum d'Ete, a sublime Georgian white wine with a French flavor that exceeded all expectations. The offerings of top-quality Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkara are equally impressive, with the latter possessing delightful notes of linden tree flowers. The impressive array of exquisite wines is conveniently available by the glass, ensuring a perfectly matched pairing with every course. Dessert at Ninua's table is a treat for the senses, offering innovative and delectably indulgent options. To top it all off, the establishment serves the finest cappuccino in Tbilisi and steeped loose-leaf tea, staying true to its insistence on quality and authenticity down to the last drop. In conclusion, dining under Chef Giorgi Ninua's direction is nothing short of spectacular. His artistic flair in the culinary world, coupled with top-tier wine offerings and exceptional beverages, makes for an unrivaled dining experience in Tbilisi.

Good restaurant. I can recommend. Service, as elsewhere in Georgia, unhurried, unobtrusive. The restaurant has a modern pleasant interior with accents on the Soviet period (dishes are a delight!). The food is clear, tasty, without frills. Tea, alas, without leaves (they poured a ready-made drink into the teapot (without tea leaves, why?))

Unfortunately we had an annoying and loud group next to us. Short of the serving staff asking them to leave or moving our table, there wasn't much else they could have done. That said, the food was delicious, so I'm happy to still give them 5 stars. The tomato entree was a pleasant surprise.

Excellent restaurant, definitely in my top 3 in Tbilisi. The menu is quite extensive but that doesn't mean that every dish isn't meticulously crafted. The plating is much more carefully done than in most Georgian restaurants. The wine selection was also good. I was very satisfied with my lunch and wish I could have come back for another meal.

Top of Tbilisi food with a cozy, yet very pleasant ambiance. The chef really knows how to please all, international and demanding palates. Some traditional and some original recipes, all are amazing and innovative, both in presentation and taste. This, paired with the perfect wines makes it an awesome culinary experience. It's a special treat to go there
