Awesome. Initially we ordered omurice, a few drinks, a side of takoyaki and the potato salad with my partner. The cream soda was delicious and the food was so good that I ordered more, including dessert. Try the honey latte if you can handle coffee late at night. The honey toast is buttery and soft on the inside with icecream that melts in with the bread. Incredible. Also, surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night. The chef handled the shop by herself for an hour, yet she was so fast to bring out the food. The Japanese mannerisms added to the experience and brings you sense of nostalgia if you've visited Japan, and if not, it's a nice dip of your toes into the culture. When chef Miki poured the sake I ordered, she even turned that into little a show. Definitely try it, I won't spoil what she does. Her and her colleagues service are of an excellent standard. You can tell they all have a passion for what they do.

Had a ketchup omruice, curry omurice, chips and takoyaki. All the food was very visually appealing and the food was really tasty. A nice place to go to with friends. The vibe is really nice and the husband-wife duo running this place work hard to provide the best possible food and service. Everybody was so incredibly kind, observant and friendly. They ensured that the my dietary restrictions were met and beforehand pointed out foods which may not be halal which I really really appreciated. Also the food is great but so if the coffee!!!!!! I definitely recommend getting from here it's so good!!!

Food was delicious. Good portion. Small restaurant, had to sit outside because a larger group came in. That was fine because they have heaters outside and made sure to check in with us often. Genuinely lovely. 9/10 second time going and alway love it

Very nice and chill omurice restaurant - expect to wait a while for the food but it's worth it - went around 1030am. Ordered omurice with a side of chicken katsu and the prawn gratin for mains. A kinako latte and toast with (Azuki) red bean paste as well. $63 total

amazing place! upon first impressions, all of the staff here are lovely, and they are really experienced in providing an amazing experience towards customers. the food and drinks, on the other hand, are also top notch for a shabby little japanese restaurant. i kid you not the iced latte is REALLY strong with a nice kick to it. overall really good, highly recommend! ありがとう ございます!

We decided to check OMU out after hearing from my partner's friend that this was worth trying. In this case, the recommendation was warranted and we were blown away by not only the food, but also the service provided by the staff (even bowing when we left the store after paying) and the general cleanliness of the restaurant. We ended up ordering a demi glace omurice each, with a slight variation to mine by adding a hamburg steak, karaage to share and a drink each (Blue Hawaii and Miki's Iced Honey Latte). The drinks really transported us to Japan and made us really want to go! Definitely keen to return in the future to try other menu items such as the curry and King of Yosyoku combo. Interesting to note that they have a "Happy Hour Everyday" between 12-2:3pm and 5-6pm for drinks where certain drinks are priced at $5 and $7 (selected drinks only). Not sure if this promotion is a long term thing or temporary one. Hoping that the photos taken give a good snapshot for others who are curious about OMU as well!

Tried for first time and it wasn’t bad. Price a little high, but it was a humongous serving! I thought it was a good idea we didn’t bring the kids, since they don’t like egg, and servings were big. We had add ons which was chicken karage but a bit bland. My husband’s meat patty was nice. I would suggest to try it at least once. It’s a big far for us, walked about 15-20min from central station.

Started the meal with the best matcha latte I've had in the city. It was followed by a tender and crispy karaage chicken and beautiful omurice. We were so impressed that we just had to try dessert. The souffle pancake was super soft, light and not sickly sweet. Will definitely be back soon to try the rest of the menu.
