One of the best fountains in Sydney, and close to numerous places to pick up food and then go over an enjoy it. There tend to be ibis and seagulls around quite often, but they don't disturb you too much. Finally, it's also great on a summer day when you can enjoy it's refreshing spray.

Famous Sydney fountain in a once infamous district. A gloom has fallen over Kings Cross; but the fountain endures. But the water pressure no longer enough to 'fill out' the top nozzles of the installation; so much encapsulates The Cross. Aged and the aged, in tandem. So go if you want; the desolation of early morning evokes a heartache, if you want to torture yourself.

Beautiful water fountain it reminds me of the water fountain in Christchurch, NZ. My little boy loved it too and we watched it while drinking juice.

Beautiful fountain located in the centre of Kings Cross / Potts Point. It’s a Sydney icon, and reminds me of a giant Dandelion. Built to commentate soldiers of WWll. The park and plaza is a great place to stop and enjoy a coffee, lots of restaurant and cafe options in the area

Beautiful feature of Potts Points. Apparently there's a Saturday market, which i stumbled upon and the area was energetic and lively. Despite the gloom of covid-19, lots of people and pets (acting safe and appropriately ofc) Around the fountains, there's a couple of birds with their poo bombs, so be careful of that when sitting around.

This little park and fountain are a lovely place to rest your feet for a few minutes when in Kings Cross. On Saturdays you can enjoy a small market with delicious local tastes and treats.

Beautiful and iconic spot in the Cross. Usually sit here on a hot day letting the droplets from the fountain cool me off.

I've seen this fountain many times over the years. To me it's like the Opera House or Sydney Harbour Bridge.
