Dr O’Neill operated on me at Dubbo Base Hospital in October 2020 for a repair of a previous TURP. It turned out to be a major surgery which took over 3 1/2 hours. The operation was a complete success and all normal urinary and sexual function returned within 4 to 6 weeks. He operated on me again in June and July 2021 for the removal of a kidney stone which required 2 separate procedures to remove. I cannot speak highly enough of his professionalism or his care during this time. I would recommend him as a first class surgeon who genuinely cares for his patients.

I have a family history of Prostrate Cancer. I visited a GP several times with prostrate symptoms who thought this was a result of the aging process. I requested to see a urologist and was sent to Dr Gordon O'Neill who instantly felt (literally) that there was a problem. He sent me for tests which didn't show a problem but Dr O'Neill wasn't satisfied with the results and booked me in for a biopsy which confirmed his initial manual exploration was correct. Nine of the twelve biopsy results showed cancer- and a nasty cancer. Dr O'Neill booked me in for surgery ASAP using the new robotic method. The operation was very successful. He managed to keep a lot of my nerves in tact. Even after having my prostrate removed I can now have sex within a couple of months and still enjoy a great sensation. Its not exactly the same but it is still great. My wife and I are both happy with the result. I had full bladder control within 3 -4 weeks of the operation and have no leakage. The use of this part of my body is pretty similar to what is was pre the operation. At all times during the consultancy, the operation and post operation I found Dr O'Neill to be extremely professional. I felt very confident I had the best man for the job. Thank you Dr O'Neill and if I know of anyone with similar symptoms I will certainly be recommending your services to them. This part of your body is a pretty important region to a man and his partner. I have spoken to other men who have had similar procedures and it seems I have had a better experience and result than others.

I had prostate cancer in 2005. Dr. O’Neill explained all the options. I chose surgery. Robotics hadn’t been introduced yet. Surgery went perfectly, no complications, fully recovered. Would strongly recommend Dr. O’Neill.

Thanks for showing the public that I'm not the only one who was wrongly told their condition is "psychological" and perhaps instead of assuming the other reviews you got in the past were Alias name, perhaps you should address them seriously, because I promise they weren't me. Very unhappy with my experience, I visited some time ago and never will again. He rushed me through the appointment, seemed very un sympathetic to my condition and literally told me it was in my head, happily charged me over $200 despite him giving me no useful information, disgusted to tell the truth.

Old school and old technique. If you are thinking of a TURP then explore other alternatives. Do your homework and don't accept the first diagnosis. Not as patient-focussed as a professional surgeon should be in his position, and regrettably, had I had my time over, I would have definitely sought out a surgeon with more up-to-date and less invasive (brutal) cutting. Also the recovery is terrible compared with more modern robotic procedures. This is an IRREVERSIBLE and HIGHLY CONSEQUENTIAL operation so don't make a snap decision. Take your time guys and explore other alternatives. Think ALAP (as late as possible) not ASAP as you will be encouraged during the consultation. That said, if you like the old-style TURP and a bloody recovery, then there is probably no better than Dr O'Neill.

Dr O'Neill is brilliant! Can't thank him enough. I've put up with BPH for at least 10 years now and have seen a number of other urologists since and no one could help me until now. Dr O'Neill suggested and performed TURP surgery given my past experiences. It worked a treat! He is very professional and thorough, I would highly recommend Dr O'Neill to anyone.

I recently underwent a Urolift procedure (for BPH) performed by Dr O'Neill. After monitoring my symptoms for some years we finally decided that it was now appropriate to attempt to fix the poor urinary flow issue. Gordon correctly assessed that I was a suitable candidate for this procedure, as opposed to the more invasive TURP. The procedure involved an overnight stay in hospital. The results were all but immediate, with essentially no post-op issues nor pain. 8 weeks down the track I am very happy with the result. I don't remember what "perfect" flow is (for me), but what I have now is hugely better than what I had put up with for years! I can highly recommend Gordon, and his capabilities and skills.

Dr Gordon O'Niell was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, provided all information available to make the right decision best for me and the staff are wonderful.

Terrible doctor who will charge over $200 for a small little consult where he tells you nothing useful, rushes you through it hardly answering any questions at all and then is totally unsympathetic.

Dr O'Neill is truely a world class surgeon. After past surgeries that were...lacking in many ways from the operations themselves to post operative patient care, I am so glad I chose Dr O'Neill to do my latest operation. He explained in detail why his chosen option would be most suitable for my best outcome, including ability to treat the issue + my recovery time, answered any questions or concerns I had and he and his team kept in touch with me regularly. He truly cares for his patients and desires to get them the best outcome possible.
