Impressive martial art training place catering for multiple styles and schools in an open plan layout. Staff are friendly and skilled, several classes are available at excellent prices. Early morning sessions, noon sessions and late evening ones are also available. The location is also highly accessible with quick means to park and exit afterwards.

Jinwukoon gym is one of the most welcoming gyms I've been to. They really take it step by step to ensure that everyone is safe while still being challenging. Open to everyone, from people wanting to just get fit or to those wanting to get onto the professional fight scene.

The Sifus here that I learnt both Wing Chun Kung Fu and kick boxing are serious to get you into action with discipline! No BS, but every move strike to the opponent!! I have no hesitation in recommending anyone want to learn either self defense or a professional kick boxer. Come to learn, feel and witness it yourself.

I first learnt kickboxing with Sifu while I needed fitness training for my Taekwondo Black belt test. I left for uni in 1999 and came back around 2008. Sifu's style of kickboxing covers the Muay Thai, western boxing and the Karate aspect of reverse punch that I learnt in one of his classes. I went to work around Australia for nursing. I had lunch with Aaron who learnt from Sifu before. I hope Sifu Chen chuck wah still teaching today. Hope Sifu still teaching today.

Jin Wu Koon in Chippendale is a fantastic place to get fit, meet people and learn Kick Boxing at the same time. Sifu is extremely knowledgeable, and Antony pushes you and makes it fun at the same time. Dont be shy!

If you're looking to get moving, or are serious about learning to fight, Jin Wu Koon is the place to go. It's conveniently located near Redfern station, the instructors all know what they're doing, and will get your heart rate up alongside your skill.

We have been to many gyms in the inner west and JWK is by far the best, and most technical training we have ever had. Sifu is an absolute master with a life time of experience to share !!

I've been training here for 1 year, the Muay Thai classes are very well structured for both beginners and intermediates. Instructors are very professional and attentive to all the technique details.

JWK creates a welcoming environment where training is tailored and pitched at a variety of levels based on experience and goals of students. The gym has modern facilities and a crew of personable and experienced staff who encourage and improve students through a focus on fundamentals. Highly recommended for people who are experiencing trainers as well as beginners 👊🏽

A top shelf gym that I trained at for about 10 years. Met some amazing people, was pushed hard by the trainers, enjoyed sparring there and above all, got results. Sifu is one of the most technical and competent martial artists I've ever met. There's not many around that are highly proficient in multiple styles and can train others using the best from each. Plus his fighting and acting in martial arts movies makes him a legend. The gym is welcoming and friendly, highly recommend both Legacy and JWK.

I have trained at Jin Wu Koon Martial Arts Acedemy for the last 20 years on and off, Chuck Fei Chan (Sifu) is and excellent trainer he personally trained me for my Full Contact Kyokushin Karate Tournament in 2003 for a period of 12 months. I began training with Sifu when i was at quite a junior level and within a short period of time I found my skill level grow and improve quite quickly and he taught me more effective techniques which were not taught attending Kyokushin classes. Sifu's discipline and martial arts spirit is well known throughout Sydney, he has been an excellent friend and he is always there when you need him.

Best trainers and martial arts gym in Sydney. It's not until you have done the rounds that you realise what a great place this is to train. Everyone is so friendly, polite and humble, which provides a family like atmosphere where everyone seems to train as a team! The training is the perfect intensity, and you can train both Muay Thai and BJJ. An honour to train with the legend Sifu Chan Cheuk Fai as well! Highly recommended...

I walked into Jin Wu Koon August 2014 with no prior experience, not knowing what to expect. From day one Sifu has been the most amazing and supportive mentor and doesn't allow an atmosphere of "You're good....for a girl". He's trained me hard over the past year but my progress has been indefinite. From my personal experience as a female walking into what may seem like an intimidating and male dominated sport - Jin Wu Koon truly is an open forum to learn and develop for both men, women AND children. There is no exclusivity here and the whole team is there to support you. So come and try out a class!

We engaged Jin Wu Koon to perform at our firm for Chinese New Year. Their performance was splendid and entertaining! All our clients, friends and staff all enjoyed it. I highly recommend them to perform at your next event/wedding/function if you want to get the crowd going!

I've been training at JWK on and off for about 5 years, and regularly for the last 3. I still find that I learn something new every class...sometimes a new technique or concept, but more often a refinement of the fundamentals. It's impressive that Sifu's students keep coming back after 15-20 years of training. It's equally impressive that when a beginner turns up to class, they receive a lot of attention from Sifu to learn the correct technique from the start. Sifu's knowledge of martial arts is DEEP, and the speed, power accuracy and footwork he can actually demonstrate still surprises me! I'm also impressed how appropriately Sifu pairs up training partners, or tailors drills if you have an injury or are tired, so you can train at the appropriate intensity or level to keep developing. Great vibe from the other students, and to be sharing the gym with an amazing BJJ school. Highly recommended.

I've been going to JWK Muay Thai classes for over a year now, and I wish I had signed up sooner! A great friendly environment where everyone's ego is left at the door. Sifu Cheuk-Fai is personable and an excellent teacher. The classes are very engaging, and training had never been this fun.

This is the best martial arts gym in Sydney. The coaches are so knowledgeable and care about your progress as a student. I felt so welcome as soon as I walked in the doors at JWK. Joining this gym is still one of the best decisions I’ve made - highly recommend!
