My husband and I spent 3 days at the Riad dar Anika and it was fantastic! The location is perfect right at the gate to the old town which means you aren't dragging your bags through the crowded Medina. It also makes sight seeing in the new town incredibly convenient. The staff was kind and attentive while still allowing privacy. The food was superb and the views from the roof top can't be beat. Seriously! Stay here you won't regret it!

The hotel is great situated in a riad. One of the best hotels we stayed at in Morocco. Wonderful and welcoming reception. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The service was exceptionally good. The breakfasts were well served and dinners were tastey and fulfilling. Great amenities in the rooms and in the beautiful lobby. A swimming pool downstairs and a hot tub on the roof with a vew adds to a satisfying and pleasant stay. I recommend this place highly and I will definitely come back here from now on since I visit Marrakech frequently.

In my opinion, this is the best Riad in the Medina. The staff of the hotel really takes care of your needs. The manager is super nice. An awesome 5 star experience.

We had heard great things about Dar Anika so we decided to stop by for a romantic honeymoon dinner and drinks. This was our favorite meal in Marrakech! They had a guest Italian chef the night we were there and we ordered this lamb dish that was the best lamb we've ever had! Service was amazing and we loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.

This is a small Riad compared to the one I stayed in Fes, all the staff are very attentive and helpful We received warm welcome with tasty mint tea and pastries We were scammed when we walked to the Riad for check in, someone said he is working for the Riad and wanted to help us with the luggages, we declined the offer but the person insisted to help us and said he is from the Riad, it is about 15 steps and the person asked for 50 MAD with very ferocious facial expression, this is just very unfortunate, that person is not with the Riad

I truly don’t understand the five star and high reviews. I thought everything was fine. Just fine, and certainly not worth the high reviews or inflated price. I was greeted upon arrival and as escorted to a room where I was served the traditional welcome of dates and milk, followed by tea and cookies. My room was ready so I was shown in right away. The room was small but adequate. Again, just fine. The rose petals everywhere were a bit annoying to have to move out of the way. The rooftop is a very small space with just a few loungers and little shade. Breakfast was fine, sort of a hybrid between western and Moroccan food, but more Western. I missed the olives, honey, or Baghrir that is traditionally served. It was neither memorable or exciting. It was fine but there certainly are better breakfasts elsewhere. Again, it was fine, and if this was half the price I wouldn’t feel so let down. But, at over 4700MAD, I expected more than just fine.

Beautiful surroundings, great staff and amazing food. We visited twice in a week. I would highly recommend the lamb; it's beautiful, tender and flavoursome. They also have an amazing selection of Moroccan wines. Great crêpes for dessert.

Just left this morning after 4 fantastic nights, our first trip to Marrakech. The accommodation was splendid, staff were helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and the Dar was so relaxing. Situated at the edge of the Medina it was easy to get to and go out and explore. To pop outside to the hectic souks then come back to quiet tranquil Dar was a blessing. We loved sitting in the lounge area of Dar have some drinks and chill out. Thankyou to the great staff who made our stay a delight. Highly recommend Dar ANIKA if considering accommodation in Marrakech

The riad is so welcoming and lovely. We were greeted by reception and Lyanne, along with a fruit smoothie, tea, cookies. Lyanne gave us an accurate and entertaining "lay of the land" tour while we sat in the open air courtyard. So meaningful to us after our 2+ week trip - the perfect way to unwind. We can't say enough about the staff (same as the other reviewers). So helpful, so kind. Great breakfasts on the terrace. Marrakech is a teeming city so it was a pleasure to have a relaxing oasis to return to. Thank you, Riad Dar Anika.

Just great! The staff can't do enough for you (they even knocked on our door with 2 hot water bottles in January), it's a fab location. Would 100% recommend and stay again ourselves.

My new home away from home ;) Location : Top, but not noisy Beautiful place with perfectly cool little pool to fight against August heat. Architecture and Interior design: beautiful and in detail! Food: traditional to country but with option for the usual scrambled eggs for breakfast...although i got some new favourites on my food list now. Best point: such great service from everybody on the staff! Helpful in every way and could not have been better!! Will be back soon!! ...when its little cooler maybe ;)

A beautiful Riad in a great location right next to markets, food, atm, taxis and everything. The staff were so incredible and looked after us like we were family. The room was clean, bathroom perfect and the bed super comfortable. Would love to stay again one day

NO REFUNDS DURING OR POST PANDEMIC. ROBBED. We booked prior to the COVID pandemic for travel in April 2020. Clearly, it wasn't possible to travel then,.so I asked for a refund. The feedback was that they didn't do this but we were welcome to stay in the future. However, plans change after such a long time. I made another request a year later, still no refund. By now it is certain, for various reasons (good and bad) thay we can't go. Now or in the future 😥. We paid 1832 euros and haven't seen a cent refunded yet. I call this robbery. The second star is only because of the responsiveness, not for the way they think they can handle guests who paid up front when a pandemic hits. Advice: NEVER PAY UP FRONT TO THIS PLACE.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was spectacular! The staff was amazing from arrival to departure. We traveled to 4 different cities during our 2 week stay and this hotel was our favorite based upon hospitality. The staff was attentive whenever we were present, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, the staff was knowledgeable and provided exceptional service by flagging taxis, providing packed luncheons for excursion days and the honeymoon surprise (flowers/decor) in our room. I highly recommend and couldn't be happier. THANK YOU!!

Fabulous place, we walked in off the street at 7pm. We had a drink on the roof and watched the sunset then moved downstairs to dine. I had the best monk fish I think I have ever had. The Moroccan wine was lovely too. Two minute walk to the square.

A spectacular Riad with a great staff. The manager, Ms. Leann is one of the hidden gems of Marrakech. The riad has been beautifully redone with all the best master craftsmanship. The hammam is also spectacular. I had a great classic scrub with all the usual fixings. Lastly the location can't be beat for the old Medina. It is easily accessible from the main street via car or cab. Has a 24/7 parking lot two minutes away if you have a car. And its a five minute walk to the Djema alFna. Stay here!

Restaurant review. PROS. Excellent service. Beautiful views. Above average food. CONS. Very very limited menu. 3 starters. 3 desserts. Only 3 Moroccan dishes on the menu (the remaining are western). That’s it. Prices are in euros so it’s definitely expensive. We spent $202 for 7 people with no starters, no drinks, and no desert.

Fantastic stay at this wonderful place in February. The location is perfect for exploring the old town. Lovely riad with friendly staff & a super manager Leanne, who was a delight to meet & very helpful with advice, which was very useful as it was our first trip to Morocco. Looking forward to returning to magical Marrakech. Thank you x

The staff are friendly and helpful, very hospitable and helped to ensure I had the best time in Marrakech. The use of a local driver arranged for me was a great way to see the sights. The location of the riad is ideal close to the souks and the heart of the city. The breakfast included was substantial and tasty. The facilities, bar and restaurant were ideal and I would highly recommend staying at the Riad Dar Anita. I would love to visit again

This Riad offer great location, impeccable friendly service and beautiful decor. The roof restaurant and terrace provide a great space to hang out, as does the central court and library. I definitely will stay there again when returning to Marrakech.

👍 I had breakfast, lunch and dinner here a few times and the food's quite good and well priced. The wait staff is attentive and polite. I did not give it five stars because the bathroom attendant tries to cheat you out of money to use the toilet.
