Very beautiful interior! The drinks were also very tasty and the service was excellent! We enjoyed the music and the shows! The food was ok. Personally I can recommend the starters, didn’t enjoy the main dishes and the dessert. The meat was dry and not so enjoyable.

10/10 restaurant with excellent staff, food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed all dishes, especially the chicken wings, truffle ravioli and prawns. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and we also enjoyed watching the "Shisha man" prepare our Shisha. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh, of excellent quality. There is also an extensive range of vegetarian dishes as well as a huge drinks menu. Sadly we missed the belly dancers but would definitely recommend and definitely return in future

Really nice restaurant, good interior decor, live show and great food. Service is a little rushed as with most of Morocco so recommend ordering a starter and then a main when you've finished otherwise all your food is there within thirty mins which isn't great when trying to spend an evening out. Would highly recommend

I really enjoyed the food and the entertainment. The dancers were awesome and the girl who helped serve had a huge smile everytime she came by and just made you feel welcome. I really loved the Lamb shank tagine

Good food but not so exotic that my American stomach was concerned. I highly recommend this restaurant for tourists in search of a high end but local meal and restaurant. For two adults we spent about $200 USD after leaving a huge tip. If this was in the USA it would have probably cost double to eat and drink at a nice place like this.

Couldn't recommend this place highly enough! The food is delicious and the service is top notch! We even went with our baby and the staff done everything they could to accommodate. Our waitress who's name we forgot to take (but she has blonde hair) was fantastic and extremely attentive! If you are reading this review, this place is a must.

Well worth the experience and food was fresh and very elegant! Can’t fault anything. Big shout out to KHALID who was looking after our table, drinks were 10/10 the have live entertainment Shisha too but didn’t get to try it was short on time. But I would recommend this place anyone it’s on the pricey side but worth every penny.

Food was decent but the environment was spectacular! They seem to cater to a Western crowd. The decor was gorgeous, hospitality was great, and the dancers were great. We definitely feel like we got a Moroccan experience!

Oh my God! Azar is not just a restaurant but a whole experience! Staff is lovely, food is great and the atmosphere like no other! Both the DJ and the band were amazing

This restaurant can be displayed as an excellency standard. Prompt but non evasive service, interesting program, live music. Very good food, every dish ordered arrived on time. So far our only restaurant in Morocco where the waiter was wearing a face mask. Just keep in mind that this is not a cheap place and be prepared to tip the dancers. Every dirham spent here is worth it.

This restaurant is an experience! The food, the ambiance, the belly dance show and the chicha... It has everything! Me and my friends were served by Iman and Ekram (forgive me if I'm misspelling). They were both so nice and accessible to us, making sure that everything was to our liking and that we were enjoying ourselves. The traditional food was delicious, from the entries to the main course to the desert. The chicha comes with a show itself and I absolutely loved the flavour that was recommended to us. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's a must visit while in Marrakech!

No words to express the stunning ambience, lovely staff and scrumptious food! The very best tanjia we tried in Marrakech and generous portions. The grill poulet and tartare was also amazing. The drinks were decently priced and tasty. We didn't get a chance to try the shisha but we would have loved to! Slightly on the pricey side but worth every penny!!

The best restaurant in Marrakech. We shared several mezzés to start, all of which were incredible. I’d highly recommend the artichokes and Parmesan salad, as well as the oven caramelized feta cheese. The mixed grill and lamb chawarma were also excellent. Our waitress, Fatima Zahra, was attentive and made excellent recommendations. We absolutely loved the cocktail, dance and shisha shows. An absolute must try.

The food was so delicious from the starts to the deserts. The establishment is beautiful. However, we expected more entertainment although there was a nice show with the dancers. Nevertheless, if you want to have a nice dinner this is a place to go.

I don’t usually write reviews unless something is worth writing about but Azar was just WOW! From the ambiance to the amazing (but like amazing) food. But what needs to be noted is the most humble, kind and anticipated service. They were spot on and being in Marrakech for a week now it’s the first and only place that has impressed us…and that is why we are going back tonight on our family’s last evening here. Well done!

This is a luxury restaurant. The food was very well made and we were constantly given new types of flatbreads without any extra charge. The mocktails were superb. There was also belly dancing and it was really tastefully done. Outside the restaurant, we found that the staff expertly arranged for our driver to pick us up. Overall, I have to say that I thought the service was particularly good. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless and well kept and that is always a good sign. You can see the food being made and the clientele is urbane and upmarket.

Service was great. Dedicated waiter taking care of our table from beginning to end. The food was delicious, a mix of Lebanese / Moroccan fusion. Fantastic atmosphere (great DJ playlist)

We tried to book at their sister restaurant before we travelled but it was fully booked but this place surpassed all expectations. Incredibly vibrant and lively with flamboyant belly dancers that come out at around 10pm. DO NOT MISS THIS! If you're easily embarrassed then make sure you sit on a wall seat as I didn't and you could see my red face from the other side of the restaurant as the woman get quite close!!! Really good food and really great atmosphere but make sure you book. It was so good we went back a second time. Will definitely go back then time we are in Marrakech.

Khalid was an amazing waiter!!! He offered excellent suggestions and was very attentive! The food was OMG delicious, and the presentation was everything 🙌🏾 😍 😋 The hookah man, I forget his name, was THE BEST IN MARRAKECH!!!! Azar provided such an amazing experience from the time we entered the establishment to the time we were leaving!!! Will definitely come back and absolutely recommend as part of your Moroccan experience!!

I've only been to a few restaurants in Marrakesh and this is the best so far. Service is impeccable, cool vibe, excellent bar service, food is wonderful and scaled down from large portions typically served at other Moroccan restaurants. Tangines and mixed grill were wonderful and bursting with flavor. Will be back on our next trip!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Incredible service, ambiance, atmosphere, entertainment, and the food was hands-down the best meal we ate in Marrakesh - and we were there for a week and dined at some of the top restaurants. Our only regret is that we didn't go back. If you're in Marrakech, don't miss this. Oh, and great cocktails!

Lovely looking venue, staff and entertainment were both good. Food was mixed, starters were delicious, we had mixed mezze which was great. I lamb shwarma for main which came out like a panini, taste was ok but not what I was expecting, a lot of people on the group had tagine and all enjoyed that. Belly dancers came round and you could join in if you wanted, no problem if you didn't. Would recommend but choose your food wisely!

Azar is unbelievably beautiful AND delicious. The service for our group of 20 was exceptional. Everything we ate was beautifully prepared, authentic, and tasty.

A must visit. This place has it all, especially when Khadija is your server. Unbelievable. Come between 9-10 to see the best/only belly dancing experience in Marrakesh. The food is lights out and the service is the kind you want in a new place. We ordered the 2-person dinner and found it to be our best dining through all of our trip. Truly out of this world experience. It's a place I hope to recommend in the future.

We came here for an evening away from the medina. The evening was great, we tried numerous items from the menu and the food tasted good. The cocktails were made to perfection and tasted nice. The restaurant gets busy as the evening goes on, they ask you about smoking shiesha as soon as you sit down for your meal. There is a live show with belly dancers whilst you have dinner. The shiesha doesn’t last long as they don’t change the coal often, it is difficult to get the attention of the waiter changing the coal. Expect to pay over $150 USD for an evening out, they add service change to your receipt and say they haven’t added it and try to ask for an extra tip, so be aware.

In a word; FANTASTIC! From the reception you enter a different world. The hostess shows you to your table and there Myriam took over as waitress for the whole evening. Discreet, attentive and down to the last detail she takes care of you. The food WOW, quality where you paid for. I took two starters and then a main course and a dessert. The wispering angel rose and the shisha everything is right in detail. I paid 1600mad for me alone for 4 courses including wine and super shisha. It's worth every euro. I'll definitely return!

The service was amazing; 10/10. Nama and her colleagues were impeccable and very attentive. Our glasses were never left empty. The wait time for food wasn't too long. The entertainment was also great and the live music and dancers transported us to another world. We were also encouraged to join in. The food itself was divine. I had chicken with a truffle sauce which was flavoursome. They were sweet enough to offer us mint tea on the house, which, luckily wasn't as sweet as them. Absolutely refreshing. I have no complaints and will definitely recommend. A must if you're ever in Marrakesh!!

It was quite an experience. Food was good. I never get dessert, but I loved the Turkish delights.

The most romantic dining experience we've had in Marrakesh! Food was absolutely amazing, drinks are simply divine, service was top notch, and the best part is the overall decor and ambience, warm, cozy, luxurious, and welcoming. Must trys are the roasted lamb shoulder, chocolate souffle and the Asian Mai Tai, plus the invigorating belly dancing!

Very good restaurant from A to Z. Super tasty dishes. The menu 39€ is worth it and delicious, you can explore the different tastes of Liban. Very good atmosphere, very fancy and kind waiter (our was a little bit too much but anyway…). Location in Gueliz the French part of Marrakech. Show oriental dance very cool. Dark lighting though but relaxing. A bit pricy for Marrakech but worth it.

Im a very critical reviewer as ive travelled many places, Eaten in many 5* restaurants and understand quality and levels. Azar Brilliant settings and vibe, Good food better than many others in the area, A Romantic venue if your going as a couple, a must eat at when visiting Marrakech, Excellent polite staff. We were taken care of by Khadija she was incredible. She knew the menu and what we should try. Left it in her hands and she really impressed with everything she recommended from Starters, Mains, Deserts, Drinks. Everything was 5*. Little dark inside but goes well with the theme. The food is traditional so taste will be very traditional also, cannot expect it to be Spicy or bursting in flavor as this food is generally a blandish salty taste how the Middle east are used to eating. Downfall was that they do not serve rice & the only option you have is Couscous or Chips. Personally I do not like Couscous but tried it on this occasion, was decent and edible. Portions are large, price is what you would expect in a 5* Dining of such class but not too expensive. If you are used to eating in high end places you will find it very reasonably priced on the lower end. They have live belly dancing also & Its still a family friendly environment. Thank you Team at Azar for hosting.

We found it as one of the best restaurant in Morocco in ratings. Indeed it was very good. We had a variety of mezes (starters) just to try the tastes and so far whatever we tried was at least good. The chicken with almond was one of my favourite plates as also were the sausages and the chicken livers. The tastes were traditional and interesting. We also tried some hookahs. I was not impressed by their taste but they were the most smooth hookah i have ever tried. Service was quite good and people were friendly and helpful. In general i would suggest it as one of the best places to eat in Marrakech, just be ready for an expensive tasting experience as the main plates start from around 18 euro the cheapest!

The decor of the restuarant was nice the food was average nothing great. The worse part was we were there for 5 hours in total. 45 minutes to get starters and 3 hour wait to get the main course which was not worth the wait. When we complained to the waiting staff they said sorry we are busy. I was well annoyed as people who arrived 1 hour after us had their food and left. When requested to see the manager the waitress did not get the manager after waiting 10 minutes and wasting 5 hours at this place we decided to pay the bill and leave. I would not recommend this place to anybody steer clear overpriced, poor service and no customer service skills. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Especially entertaining. Very much a Moroccan experience. Beautiful modern decor, with an old world feel. Delicious food, very attentive service.

Very dark/modern interior. Food was excellent. Service was also very good. Pricing was on par or cheaper than other “fancy” restaurants in Marrakech. Only gave 4 stars because it was a little “too nice” for me.
