Horrible, don’t go there! They didn’t give us the real menu and only wanted to sell a package! Terrible service, they forgot what we ordered multiple times and it took ages to get the food! At the end portions were really small and high priced. Meat was burned 😂

For me one of the best Restaurants in Marrakech! Authentic & delicious Moroccan Food, no burgers on the menue, no chi-chi, friendliest staff and reasonable prices. Will always come back here!

Amazing restaurant! The food here is authentic and traditional and tastes excellent. We had to come back twice it was so good :) They had no problems catering to gluten free dietary requirements and even had gluten free couscous and bread to offer. The waiters and waitresses also work very hard and provide a great service. Highly recommended this place for a good meal at reasonable prices!

Wonderful experience. This is the place in Marrakech if you wish gluten free real local food! (owner is celiac so they have GF version of almost all dishes)

We stopped in Dar Tazi for a quick lunch before visiting the Photography Museum and were so pleased we did! It was by far the best dining experience we had on our trip, with the lovely Badr explaining the menu in detail and also telling us more about the local culture. He went out of his way to address our dietary requirements and make sure we enjoyed our food and drinks. We tried our first pastilla and it was fantastic, as was the lemon chicken. Highly recommended spot and handy to be able to pay with a card.

Very good restaurant to have a good, generous, well-priced meal. The menu is just 130Dhs and the quality is good. The couscous was delicious, although the salad was not as good as we had expected. All the portions are generous, and the staff is nice. The decoration is traditional. We could pay by card, and there is wifi for the customers.

Been for lunch here in 2018 and again in 2022, brilliant both times. Amazing tagines and local dishes. Great terrace in a quieter part of the medina.

Tiny traditional restaurant close to the Medersa Ben Yousef. All the dishes are homemade by lovely ladies. Everything tasted amazing and fresh for a very reasonable price in the Medina. Great staff and great atmosphere too. Would definitely go back.

Best food we had in Marrakech so far. Very nice service and food was on point. Also the price for a three course meal was very good. It’s not directly in the center, so a little bit more quiet, which we enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend!

We had dinner here. You can assemble your own Menue consisting of a starter a main course and a desert. And let me tell you, this place is worth it. Not only is the food soo delicious, it was quite a lot, you won’t leave hungry. The moroccan salad plate was a favorite. We definitely recommend Dar Tazi. You’ll love it. Also you have a lovely view.

Very tasty meal on the rooftop terrace at this restaurant right next to the photography museum that features images of Morocco from the last 150 years. We highly recommend the Rfissa - delicious chicken dish with unique flavors - and the tabbouleh salad with mint. Enjoy!

Tasty kefta tajine and couscous with lamb, both very well spiced. Very friendly waiter and nice terrace. Prices are good and the portions big. Only negative thing was that the lamb was quite dry. Update: After the answer of the owner I want to clarify that it was indeed veal and not lamb. It was my girlfriends plate and I had wrongly assumed that it was lamb. I am sorry and send best wishes!

A Culinary Gem in Marrakech - Restaurant Dar Tazi Delights I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Dar Tazi during my visit to Marrakech, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience that left me utterly delighted. From the moment I stepped through the ornate entrance, I was captivated by the restaurant's charming ambiance and the warm Moroccan hospitality. Ambiance: Nestled within the heart of the bustling Medina, Restaurant Dar Tazi provides a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The interior exudes a genuine Moroccan aesthetic, with intricate tile work, traditional furnishings, and soft, ambient lighting. The courtyard garden, adorned with lush greenery and a soothing fountain, sets the stage for a romantic and intimate dining experience. Whether you choose to dine indoors or outdoors, the atmosphere is enchanting. Service: The service at Dar Tazi is truly top-notch. The staff members are attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment I was seated, I felt like a valued guest. The waitstaff was more than happy to provide recommendations and offer insights into Moroccan cuisine, which made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Cuisine: The menu at Restaurant Dar Tazi offers a delectable array of Moroccan dishes that highlight the country's rich culinary heritage. From tagines to couscous, the menu is a journey through the flavors of Morocco. I opted for the traditional Lamb Tagine with Prunes and Almonds, and the flavors were an explosion of delight in my mouth. The tender lamb, combined with the sweetness of prunes and the crunch of almonds, created a harmonious blend of tastes and textures. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing the chef's dedication to both taste and aesthetics. Dessert was equally exceptional. I indulged in a divine slice of Pastilla, a delicate pastry filled with almonds and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. It was a sweet conclusion to a truly memorable meal.

Delicious food. Extremely friendly. We had arrived late and they stayed to accommodate our group of 5. The meal included three courses, salad or soup, main course and dessert. Prices were very reasonable and they accept credit cards.

Our visit was a true experience. The ambience is amazing, especially the rooftop was beautiful to sit! The food was very delicious - we have to say it was the best moroccan food we had in Marrakesh (even gluten-free options)! Also the service was excellent, Badr took good care of us and made sure everything was as we wished! As well as the kitchen team. Thank you for that. This restaurant is a 10/10 and a big recommendation for the perfect moroccan food experience.

Been waiting for 1 hour and still our food was not ready. In the meantime we asked for a bottle of water and they brought us 1 glass even if was the 2 of us 😂 We left. In reply to your comment: we arrive at 8:40pm, no one explained us how the menu works. We simply ask for 2 dish and a bottle of water (no additional, no extra). Your team was not interested on offering a good service which is fair enough, but please have the decency to not reply saying something that is not true.

We had a lovely three course dinner for only 130 DH pp this evening. The staff was very friendly and the food tasted excellent and the portions were quite rich.

I dont understand the possitive reviews. Not impressed with the food. Ambiance not so great either. Hard white light on the wall tiles. Good People, young team. The menu mentions a menu price but you get all items invoiced not for the menu price. Wont be ging back.

I went there following the Google ratings but unfortunately, I found it totally disgusting. I ordered a Tajine and it was full of sunflower oil instead of olive and the meat was very strong to chew. Just never again. The owner thinks that I wrote the review on the wrong restaurant, but it is a shame that they could not even mention that they will improve their service and food quality in the future…

This restaurant has an amazing view from the roof terrace, you can see the roofs of the medina and some peaks of the Atlas. The staff is also nice, and the food is really traditional and delicious. Medium prices.

Lovely place and very friendly staff. The food is reasonably priced but all our courses were absolutely delicious and very well presented. My only problem? We were not hungry enough to finish the huge portions!

The other reviews are right - this really was an excellent meal! We had the Rfissa (first time we’d seen it on menu) which was superb and the pastilla. The appetizer and dessert were also good, better than all other similarly priced restaurants in the area. Only downside is how slow the service is: be prepared for 2hr+… albeit on a nice terrace with a view

I visited many restaurants in Marrakech and I think this is the best place where you can eat traditional Moroccan dishes. mister Bader suggestions were a real delight thank you another time. Varied menu, refined cuisine, impeccable and caring service. I highly recommend this restaurant. -They take care of you if you allergic to anything. -The only thing missed there is alcohol.
