The guy at the entry of the bar stood in my face with so much disrespect, he even bullied me. Because, he thought I am just another Morrocan not worthy of respect. He bullied me to kick me away instead of politely explaining why I can't get in. This is my second review because the owner claims its fake. I wish I took a video and shared it on social media that day. I repeat once more, I'll not recommend this place to any of my foreign friends, and do not recommend it for other people.

For some reason my previous review was put down. I was here a week ago, I met a guy in the front of the bar, he tried to use his force to block me from entering the bar. He didn't even take time to politely explain why I can't get in. I will never step again here, I will not recommend this place to my foreign friends. And I do not recommend it for anyone else.

Amazing service, a really nice atmosphere and environment, and the location is great! We had the grilled chicken with cream mushroom sauce and roasted chicken with potatoes. Both were absolutely amazing! We had some wine and beers with dinner at a great price! Both were local and amazing. Try this place out for sure if you are in the area!

This is my second review of this place. The first was two years ago, and this is such a joy to discover that this wonderful place is as good as it was then. Maybe even better. Great wine selection, Moroccan and other, great French dishes, wonderful atmospher. Definitely recommend this place

Great vibe, great wine, and great service. Amine, one of the servers, was able to recommend wines based on our extremely poor descriptions of our taste preferences and we were blown away with the wines he chose. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Marrakesh.

Lovely wine bar. Feels very modern with a local feeling. Wine is a small bit expensive compared to other bars around Marrakech. Food looked amazing, although we didn’t have time to try.

Very much more wine bar than restaurant. Unfortunately full of people smoking inside so best avoided if you want to eat. The wine selection is extensive nonetheless.

This is a good wine bar in the new town. Management are attentive and friendly. Too smoky inside so we sat outside. We treated ourselves to some nice Chablis. Wine selection is excellent. Had the cheese board tapa. It included melted brie on bread which wasn't what we expected from a cheese board. Overall recommended.

Found this place by happy accident. Food was sublime and big portions. Great wine, superb service and authentic interior. Feels like a slice of France 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Pictures gave an different impression. A small smoky area instead of a glorious wine bar. Wine and winkelier was a positive exception. We choose a white Rioja. Food we choose was not tasteful. Fried cheese and something with bone marrow we didn’t like. Bad choice maybe.

Superb wine bar with a relaxed atmosphere, extensive wine list and great food ! My wife and I had the variety charcuterie board with bread, which was delicious, easily enough for 4 as a starter. The food we saw pass by for other customers looked equally delicious , ranging from small tapas to huge steaks ! As soon as we arrived our waiter was welcoming friendly and polite . The service was excellent, quick, and we didn't have to wait long to get drinks, several refills (!) or our food. We visited on a Tuesday, early evening and there was a good mix of tourists and locals, I could imagine it being v busy at the weekend though, my advice would be to make a reservation. If your up in that part of the city , this bar is well worth a visit 👍

I was there year ago, I came back to Marrakech and I went again. All the food are yummy, the meat, the cheese and the oysters one of the best ones. 100% recommendable!! I will come back again for sure. The service it’s good as well and they have one non smoking area upstairs

Great unexpected wine bar in the Gueliz area in Marrakech. We had a glass of grey Moroccan wine and a glass of red Moroccan wine. We also had some tapas with it, which tasted great. It was clear the served wine was of high quality. What would be nice though, would be to offer out of country visiting clients a selection of Morrocan wines (a flight) perhaps using a Coravin or vacuum system. The interior was very well decorated! Service was very friendly.

Probably the best spot to have a dinner in Marrakesh. Amine and Hicham are true gentlemen and we had a fantastic time. Strongly recommended!

I absolutely love Le 68 Bat à Vin. The service was great and the gentleman who helped us recommended a great white wine. We had the sharing plate for three and a couple of sides, which was more than enough - the sharing plate would have done. Everything was served quickly, was excellently presented and was delicious. There is a nice atmosphere in the place and a comprehensive wine list. If I'm in Marrakesh again, I'd definitely drop in. Well worth a visit if you fancy a change from Tagine

A little bit of France in Marrakech - wonderful food, great service and friendly owners. I came here last night as a solo female traveller and felt relaxed at totally at ease. I ate the sole with beautifully cooked vegetables and complimentary baguette. The smells coming from the kitchen in this lovely little place will drive you to distraction. Authentic French bistro - would totally recommend - fantastic experience.

Due to the type of menu, I was afraid the restaurant/staff would be a bit snobby. Absolutely not the case! Very welcoming staff, and amazing food. Worth the price for great atmosphere. 100% recommended.

100% recommend this place! After a horrible first week in Marrakech we were starting to lose hope but found this little gem and had an amazing night. Our waiter Sabir was amazing! Super friendly, recommended some great dishes for starter and main and a great wine, his service was impecible, gave us great advice and made is feel extremely welcome. It's a shame that we were leaving the next day otherwise we would have been back every day just to see him! He really made the experience for us and we are so happy we ended up there. Sabir we hope to meet you again and thankyou so much for giving us a great last night and making the whole experience worth it! We love you! ❤️

A very niche and hidden wine experience.

It has been really hard to find a good place like this during our holidays but at the end we arrived here. The food is AMAZING and the staff as well. Definitely on of the best we tried and you MUST to try if you are in Marrakech.

Sabir is one of the seven wonders of Marrakech, and this establishment houses a selection of the best wines and tapas in this wondrous city. In fact, I will go as far as to say this is my favorite spot in the city, so don’t you dare miss the chance to visit.

We ate here in February 2020. The place was atmospheric and the food was amazing! This was the first time my friends and I tried Dakhla oysters! Indescribably good. The cheese platter and wine was delicious. We came back a second time in need of more oysters. Not to be missed if you're visiting Marrakech

Food explosions in my mouth. The gastronomy was phenomenal and the service impeccable. If you don't visit this wonderful place, you have not fully enjoyed Marrakech.

Best place to give you a vaste choice of wine in Marrakesh, but i didn't like the small space

Honestly recommend. The wine’s really good (as to be expected from a place named like this), the staff is pleasant and welcoming, they even help you get a taxi when needed in really good time. The cook even came up to chat with the customers which is really unusual but just as pleasant. Only downside would by the table’s hight, very minor detail but the ones upstairs were just low enough to not be in a comfortable position, but standing straight solves that problem just fine ;) really good adresse, recommend no doubts.

The food is amazing here! Have eaten a few different salads along with the zucchini with meat and cheese and it was very good. They have a nice selection of wines from all over as well. Customer service is very good, even though it can be crowded on weekends and late nights.

Lovely restaurant! French tapas type dishes. Great service by all the staff especially the manager who came up to wish my wife a happy birthday and gave her a free birthday drink. I know the place is busier Thurs- Sundays so book ahead. Thank you

Fantastic wine bar and restaurant, it's like being in spain or france! Gets very busy but still have attentive staff - just bear in mind you may need to wait a bit for food but it's worth it! They have both a main menu (heavily french inspired mains) and tapas, everything we had was delicious and the wine was great too.

Food simple and very much on point. Wine selection very good. Service very good, helpful but not over powering.

There is lots of great food in Marrakesh but if you tire of Moroccan cuisine and long for some traditional French cooking then this is the place to go. From appetizers to dessert - with pate, salads, tuna and sardines tapas, steak, creme brûlée - everything was perfect - and the steak was one of the best I've had in a long while anywhere. They have a very long wine list but we had a superb Moroccan red. The young man running the place and waiting was friendly and informative and made our evening a very special one. Note we sat upstairs - downstairs was very smoky. Highly recommended.

Nothing short of spectacular. Arrived without a booking and was kindly ushered inside and given a Wi-Fi password by the bouncer. After a short wait, we were taken upstairs and waited on attentively by a very friendly host. The food was unbelievably delicious and the wine and beers just as good. The vibe in restaurant was amazing with good music playing and everyone in attendance having a wonderful time. 110% recommended.

What an absolute delight! Hubby and I googled this place and saw the excellent reviews, and it did not disappoint! The ambience is fantastic. Small, but super cool oasis in a hot big city. With wonderful food, amazing people and air conditioning!! Hubby said it has the BEST beer he’s ever had. It was French. Ask Amine to serve you one, his recommendations did not disappoint! We loved visiting Morocco and of all the wine bars in all the cities this one was exquisite for our last evening in this magical country. We ordered tapas, the endive salad and the coq a u vin. The coq au vin came with butter noodles and was heaven to dip in the rich sauce. Stop in relax, enjoy, and eat. A truly amazing treasure. We will have to come back to Marrakech just for Le 68!!! Thank you for a lovely evening!!!
