Very nice rooftop ! We had a super lunch and it was yummy. If you’re looking for a place authentic, quite small, clean, with a great staff to welcome you and give advise, surely a very appropriate restaurant.

Amazing place to eat, delicious food for a good price, great staff and nice terrace. If I come back to Marrocos for sure I will be back. The environment is very nice, you can enjoy the view while you are eating. The desserts were very beautiful and delicious. The coffee is different with the powder of coffee inside, but I like it. The are tables with shadow that you can be protect from the sun lights. I recommend to go there.

We were waiting for the right place to have a traditional Moroccan tagine and this was it. A small, friendly place with delicious home cooked food and an amazing rooftop view. Highly recommend.

Superb food, excellent and smooth service, cosy setting. We had a nice lunch with a mix of briouates, a vegetarian pastille and a virgin bloody mary on the rooftop terrace. Nice spot to enjoy a meal after visiting the Saadian tombs. A bit of music would have been nice to top it all off but on the whole very recommendable.

The whole place looks clean and tidy, not overdone. We liked it from the first sight - the entrance off-street with a big lantern, cool ambiance of stairs, decor on the wall. The roof top terrace offers the view of the Mosque. The breeze is refreshing above the street level. We have grilled lamb, succulent and juicy, and beef tanjine, something extraordinary. Sweet mint tea was great accompaniment to the meal (no alcohol served which is completely fine). The restaurant does not take cards but we overheard two ladies next to us were allowed to pay by card. Seamless friendly service, the meals recommended were great.

I was so happy to find this place on our first trip to Marrakech! The waiter was extremely friendly and welcoming. And all the food the five of us had was fantastic. Highlights included my flavorful sardine tajine, still bubbling in the bowl (everyone raved about that one), and the phenomenal beef with a prune/raisin sauce—wow! Excellent bread and olives were served. The juice and lemonade were also fresh and very tasty. I hope to return soon.

Superb. Great local food - the best we have had in our five nights. Abdul is becoming legendary for his softly spoken calm and gentlemanly service. Wonderful old world charm about the place. We had the samosa-style starter (shared) followed by vegetable pastilla and a fantastic chicken tagine. No booze and no cards and it's a little tricky to find but a real gem - even when the roof terrace is closed when rain stops play.

Had lunch on their beautiful covered rooftop overlooking Saadien’s Tombs and Moulay el Yazid Mosque (picture from April 2022). Lovely and welcoming wait staff. Tasty olive tapenade trio on the house. The wait for food was admittedly long (would not recommend if you are in a rush) but well worth it. Fresh vegetable platter was refreshing and seafood tagine had a wonderful aroma. Even ordered their dessert pastries to go for our early flight tomorrow. I would come back again if we had more time in Marrakech.

Came here on our first night in Marrakech and had to come back before the holiday was over! We had some incredible food over the week but this was definitely our favourite. Relaxed environment with lovely decor and friendly, attentive staff and owner who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience - our waiter Mohamed made us feel so at home! Make sure you try the homemade tapenade and trio of Moroccan salads.

Glorious setting, on a peaceful rooftop above the hustle and bustle of the souk. Mohamed went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. We had the trio of salads to start, with a kefta tagine and breaded fish as mains, then a delicious creme brûlée to finish. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Mohamed even offered us a complimentary mint tea after our meal, which he explained was made his traditional Tunisian way, with green tea and a little less sugar. They’ve only been re-open 11 days since closing when the pandemic hit, so please support this restaurant and you won’t be disappointed. Only a 5-10 minute walk from the main square. Thank you!

Beautiful rooftop restaurant view! We ate well. The dessert was the best I had in Marrakesh, it was ‘pastilla with cream and almonds’.

We’ve been to this place twice during our stay in Marrakech! They have a very nice roof terrace to escape the hustle & bustle of the streets. Even better is the quality of the food and the best is the friendliness of the waiter! He will make sure you feel welcome and speaks many languages!

Delicious from start to finish! Beautiful rooftop terrace with a lovely atmosphere. Our server was so kind and attentive, really great service! The food was so tasty- we had the starter Moroccan salads that were so flavourful and then the lemon chicken and olive tajine as well as a pastilla. Super great food, highly recommend!!!

We were 4 days in Morocco, and we went to this place twice. The food is perfect, the service is excellent, the restaurant is nice and the gentleman who works there is very polite. We order chicken tagine, it was very nice seasoned. The couscous was also good, and it was served with sauce. The pastille was also good. For dessert, we've tried the chocolate mousse. It's different and it's worth it. We also asked for samosas. We paid 20 euros per person. Drinks included.

Amazing attentive service, delicious food for a fair price. The sardines tagine is to die for! Happy they were able to finally reopen about a week ago

Be careful : sometimes a guy on the street is leading you to a wrong restaurant. It's a trick.

Food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Service from our waiter was excellent and he spoke fluent English and German(assuming French as well). I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking a quality food and service.

Top notch home style food and hospitality. Surprisingly quiet for lunchtime, but not complaining. Service was attentive and food flavoursome and in generous sizes. We struggled to finish our order and weren’t able to take a doggy bag as we had a hammam booking.

Absolutely lovely restaurant right in the centre of the Kasbah Quarter. If you head up to the roof terrace it's lovely and cool with views. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

Enjoyable experience. The memorable meal was beef tajin with prunes, raisins and almonds. Sesame seed sprinkled on the top. Has couscous with chicken, was very good and not as awesome. Great hospitality. Not sure why when we first showed up, we were asked to come back in 30 minutes, so did other people when we were dining. Although the place was not even. Lose to full.

Incredible restaurant: the waiter (Ahmed) was really nice and really welcoming ! We had some tapenade with Briouates, tajine kefta and lamb tajine. It was delicious. We concluded our meal by a plate of traditional Morrocan pastries. I can only recommend !!

We were in Marrakech for 5 days and ate here 3 times - twice for lunch and once for dinner. I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant. Mohammed made us feel so welcome and the food was spectacular. And what a lovely roof terrace! We can’t wait to go back!! Thank you for looking after us!

Had lunch here on 4 Sept 2022. The decor and ambiance was nice, but when I was there they directed all customers to eat only at the terrace. I did asked about the indoor seating but the waiter said it was closed (no reason given). It was a sunny and hot day although there was shades on the terrace but I was sweating while eating. Thus I’m giving only 4 star.

I initially gave this place a good review for the good service and the nice ambience but later at night both my girlfriend and myself felt sick. We dont know what it was but it was a a very bad night for us. The food is not nice. Meat with Bargoug was extremely sweet and the couscous was not great
