EDIT: Manager kindly got in touch with me and offered me a reimbursement. I am so grateful to the team here for their wonderful service. I WILL BE BACK. I just came back from a visit at the spa and restaurant and I want to start with the pros: -The staff are all very kind and I believe have best intentions -The space is absolutely breathtaking -My massage experience was lovely -A beautiful vibe overall -Nicely located I recommend visiting this hotel even with my mishap. Con: I decided to get a pedicure after my massage. Keep in mind this was all a solo experience. I was trying to treat myself to some peace. The pedicurist was nice and I think tried her best. The room had flies buzzing the whole time. Not her fault. I let it pass. However, during my nice lunch on the roof an hour later, I started to realize that my $90+ gel polish was already chipping. I figured I would just enjoy my lunch and deal with it after. After my lunch (which was also lovely), the spa was still open so I went down to get a fix on the spot that was chipping. She was kind enough to do it over. I just got down to rest a few hours later and it is chipped again in a different area. Upon closer inspection, there are even spots where polish is over my cuticle. I’m frustrated. The price is just too high to justify anything but a great pedicure. I want to be looking at my toes and thinking “Ahhh I spent $90 on my pedicure and it looks like it”. Instead I’m feeling dissatisfied and ripped off. When I asked her of the price accuracy, she said it was accurate because this is a luxury boutique hotel. She didn’t seem to understand that I was aware of that, hence why I came to give the establishment hundreds of my dollars, but that the quality of experience should match the description no? I also want to point out that they only had 3 colors...none of which I would have chosen as my top choices (and I am not into neons or crazy colors, but for $90+ a pedicure can you please invest in more OPI?) I ended up settling for the most nude tone. It’s such a silly thing, but the price was too high for me to have to bare this lingering annoyance.

First of all, Hotel looking nice. They upgraded our room but still the price was same like booking upgraded room! Suit room was good but bath and water heating system doesn’t work properly. Room rate is so high but quality was not the same! Sorry i can do lower then 3 stars but my wife doesn’t want to hurt you too much!

Phenomenal experience! One of the best hotels that we have stayed at. Very luxurious and staff is very attentive to all needs. Saida and the rest of the concierge team were very efficient in organizing activities and making sure everything was taken care of. Would definitely stay again!

My husband and I had an awesome experience at La Sultana. First of all, the property is absolutely gorgeous and very serene. It made for a very relaxing setting. Additionally the staff was so accommodating and helpful; they made sure our stay was perfect. We had a spa treatment (hammam + massage), which I’d highly recommend. Everything was really excellent here and I’d go back in a heartbeat!

We recently dined at La Sultana Restaurant—an establishment well-known for its connection with the highly rated hotel of the same name in Marrakeck. Having not stayed at the hotel, our focus was solely on the dining experience. Although the hotel's grandeur and beauty undeniably extend to the restaurant—creating an enchanting atmosphere—the food we ordered was, unfortunately, far from impressive. The evening began with a round of hummus that was passable—but lacked the fresh, vibrant flavors we've come to expect from this staple dish. The pigeon pie—a Moroccan classic—was next; yet it was unsatisfactory and lacked the rich, savory taste that we anticipated. The beef tagine—another dish often representative of the local cuisine—was similarly disappointing; the beef was overcooked and the spices seemed muted—failing to ignite the burst of flavors we craved. The sweetbreads—normally a treat for offal lovers—were served lukewarm and were less than memorable. The food might have been mediocre—but the wine selection was a saving grace. They offered a good variety of local Moroccan wines—which we appreciated and enjoyed. The staff's knowledge about the wines was commendable; and their recommendations were spot-on—helping to elevate the overall dining experience. Despite the good service and the undeniably beautiful setting—the food at La Sultana Restaurant failed to meet our expectations. We left most of it unfinished; which was quite disheartening—given the restaurant's reputation and prices. Overall—while La Sultana Restaurant undoubtedly provides a stunning atmosphere and decent wine—the culinary experience left much to be desired. It's a place we'd recommend for a drink perhaps—but not for a gastronomic journey. As always, taste is a subjective matter; and while our experience was lackluster—others might find it more to their liking. We hope that the kitchen ups their game in the future—to align the quality of their food with the high standard set by their exquisite locale and drink selection.

We had a great experience staying here at La Sultana for 4 days. The concierge was very helpful, attentive, and kind at assisting us with planning excursions. The facilities are beautiful and all the staff are so helpful. Our room was stocked with a variety of delicious treats. The restaurant and rooftop have nice views of the city and a beautiful rooftop. The location is in a very busy area but La sultana itself is very peaceful and calm. The massage and hammam were great too. I recommend this to anyone staying in the area as long as you are okay with being around the busy streets and markets.

We had a fantastic time at the Saadien's Tombs and discovered a secret palace with a top-notch bar restaurant at the rooftop of La Sultana. The staff were very friendly and all you have to do is find the secret entrance walk in & tell them you want to drink at the rooftop. We were thrilled to have found this place and felt like kings or queens while enjoying our drinks. It's a hotel. It's a cafe. It's a spa. It's a bar restaurant. It's everything. I am going to book myself a spa treatment next time visiting Marrakesh. Highly recommended.

I was very excited to stay at this hotel my first visit to Marrakesh, however I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received. After a major flight delay, I finally made it to the hotel to check in only to be told they noted me as a "no show" and gave away my room. I HAD PAID FOR THE ROOM IN FULL AND THEY GAVE IT AWAY. They also did not offer any options to help me after their mistake, and I really felt that they put my safety at risk, as I was traveling alone. Very disappointing.

We just wrapped up four nights at La Sultana. The property was beautiful and the service was very friendly and genuine. The hotel is several old riads combined and each one had a stunning courtyard. Nice breakfast and a fun rooftop bar / restaurant. We also did a traditional hammam treatment followed by a massage and it was a great afternoon.

An incredible haven of impeccable service and luxurious boutique hotel style sumptuousness, La Sultana is an absolute must in Marrakech. The spa is spectacular with sublime treatments. The staff and service are other worldly: warm, discrete, incredibly professional. The roof top bar and dinner setting is a peaceful and glorious escape from the loud, tourist traps around the city. We have thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you to all the staff 🙏

Is this the best breakfast in town or what? This by far has been the most delicious breakfast we had in all the cities we’ve been to in Morocco 🇲🇦 the staff is very nice and the hotel too. The hotel consists of 4 riads and different facilities. Really beautiful and highly recommend it.

We enjoyed every moment we spent in this wonderful place. Since our arrival, we have been overwhelmed by a very caring and exceptional staff and their attention to the smallest details so that we can have a unique and amazing experience. In addition to the charm of the place and the fragrant history of the city of Marrakesh, the moroccan cusine was a real pleasure. It was a unique experience,

Came here for dinner and from arrival to departure the experience was fantastic. Sitting on the roof having drinks next to the fire was very nice. We were then walked down to our table next to the pool and live music. The service was really good the hostess took care of us. Walking us up to the roof and down to our table it was an overall five star experience.

I can highly recommend this hotel. 1. The staff is very friendly and helpful (5/5). 2. The food is amazing, especially that they grow their own bio vegetables. All fresh and delicious (5/5). 3. The hotel ambience and the design is top. A wonderful spa, lobby, restaurant and the rooms are beautiful and comfy (5/5). 4. The location is maybe not the most amazing thing about the hotel. The lagoon at which the place is located, brings a bit of an unpleasant smell. This is probably because of the sludge buildup (4/5).

FOOD POISONING! We went for lunch at La Sultana on Friday 4th November. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The building is incredible, but that's where the positives end. We spent 900 dirham on 2 mains and half a bottle of wine, which is very dear considering the service and quality of food. I tried the camel burger/sandwich and have food poisoning - I've been up all night with my head in the toilet. As I was eating the meal, I just had a feeling something wasn't quite right but I convinced myself everything was OK due to the reputation of the establishment. Moral of the story - trust your gut. There are far more cost effective, better quality, high-end restaurants in Marrakech than this one.

“The Place of Leisure & Peace” This iconic piece of art has a lot of details. Every corner, each place within the hotel has a story to tell. I visited the two most popular hotels around here, but La Sultana is totally different place. The moment you walk out the door, you start to miss it and wanted to go back. All the stuff from the front desk tell the kitchen are amazing people. They are full of kindness and humor. I felt myself home with all means of comfort and relaxation. Anas, Abbas and Rabei are the best folks. I much appreciate all the staff at La Sultana hotel. With best regards and thanks to all :)

Fabulous, over the top, super clean, very friendly and polite services... Everyone there wants to help, rooftop is a must! Follow all outside restaurant recommendations by Anas! I’ll give their food 3/5, they need better in-house chef.

This was one of the most enjoyable hammam experiences I have ever had. The location is enchantingly beautiful, the vibe superbly relaxing, and the ladies who work here don’t cut corners. I booked La sultana signature and I came out feeling reborn and a little bit sad I wasn’t staying in this beautiful palace! I will definitely be back the next time I am in town ❤️

My family and I had a hearty laugh at the table manager who was eyeing us like some escaped convicts and hiding us from the rest of customers just because we’re Arabs. What’s new though, right? 😂

Some years ago, amazing stay, room are so nice this an amazing Riyad , lost in the small street of Marrakech. Nice door when you arrive and discover this hidden and little jewel place. Nice swimming pool with breakfast around and a secret bar to see the swimmer through the water under the pool ;)

We dined at the restaurant. Avoid this restaurant until you see reviews not like mine. Poor service... Very poor. Food is very expensive for what you get. We had seafood and lamb. Both were very bad. Like chewing on a old leather belt. We only are a tiny bit of our main entree. No flavor whatsoever. Worst overall experience in Marrakech or anywhere I've had for quite some time

My husband and I went for the Royal Hammam spa treatment (go in the morning, we had the place to ourselves!) and had the best experience we could have imagined! The spa is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed a delicious tasting menu on the roof after our treatment. Highly recommend this beautiful space.

It was all such an experience! Hamza gave us an amazing tour of the rooftop, pointing out the Tombs and telling us all about the history of Marrakech! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Definitely on the top 3 places I’ve dined. When I come back to Marrakech, this place will be a must-go! The pricing is a little on the expensive side but I would say more than worth it!

We stayed here two nights at the end of a 9-night trip around Morocco. It is a very nice and interesting hotel with many positives, but overall we felt they were a bit disorganized. They actually have an interesting feature where they give you a cell phone to call them at any time if you need them (such as needing a ride to the hotel). We had a private guide so we didn’t need that service but it might be helpful. When we checked in they put us in our room . There are no room numbers by or on the door. We were told the animal name of our room but no number. There were several instances where we were just confused. Such as, we went to the rooftop bar to order a drink to take back to our room the night we arrived and that was a bit of a disaster. We told them the animal name of our room and that caused a huge issue because we didn’t know our room number. Also apparently we were supposed to have called them from our room. So they had a server carry our drinks on a tray with us back down the lift to our room where she set them down and gave us a bill to sign. Very confusing. The lobby staff is apparently not connected to the spa staff. We had a hammam bath and massage scheduled the day of our departure that ended after check out. I asked if we could extend our checkout time but it’s the busy season. That is fine but I asked if there was a place for us to use in the spa after we were done beachside we had to fly out (on an overnight flight). She suggested we take out luggage to the spa as we could do it there. That is not true. There is no place to do that. I would have cancelled had I known I could not get ready for the next 22 hours of travel. The breakfast was good, but we arrived around 7:15am as the start time is 7 and they were not prepared for guests. Our room was nice and we liked the lay out and bathroom. We were in the first floor with no windows to the outside and it did get a little stuffy. They do provide you many nice snacks and treats in your room. There is a nice gym there but they say it is the least used room in the hotel. So overall it was fine but we felt the service wasn’t as good as what we had experienced in our other parts of Morocco and this is an expensive hotel.

We had a great experience here, celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The room, staff, architecture, massage, and food were all wonderful, and I would certainly recommend it. It's very pricey for what you get, but it's undeniably a memorable stay.
