We stayed here on a week holiday during spring break. We needed a relaxing holiday just to recharge from all the hustle and bustle of life. The care and attention from the staff was top notch! Ismail is the top notch concierge that catered to our every need. We loved all the suggestions he made and he got us into all the best restaurants for dinner, every night! Staying at La Maison Arabe Hotel was a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner during our vacation in Marrakech. He is from Tangier; I am from Boston. We read the favorable reviews of the restaurant before going and expected much more than what we experienced. The decor is beautiful and the location is indeed convenient. However, the food was not fresh - not even the bread. I ordered the chicken tagine and my boyfriend ordered the chicken skewers and Moroccan salad. The chicken was just.. so bad. It was obvious that the ingredients for both our meals were days old. Bad enough on its own, but for the price of our dinner, this was even more unacceptable. The service was also severely lacking. Our server was rude and short, and we were one of only two tables dining at that time. I would not recommend.

The hotel and staff were so attentive to our needs and ensuring they assisted us in planning the trip we were looking for in Marrakech. Having never visited the city before Maison Arab provided us with excellent recommendations for dining and site seeing. The riad is conveniently located within the old city and close to the new city so walking from location to location was easy. The hammam was a beautiful experience, I would highly suggest booking a service. The restaurant, Three Flavors was beautiful and delicious. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated and kept cool for us. They also ensured we always had water and other beverages in our room to keep us hydrated. I highly recommend staying here during your trip.

Great decor, amazing service and full and satisfying breakfast. Staff very accommodating and a great one night stay. Be warned it's a maze of corridors and stepped levels as they have combined different homes to make this hotel. I think it almost adds to its charm but you can sometimes feel lost when trying to get to your room or the lobby. Absolutely not for the disabled or movement impaired.

We did an amazing cooking class at the hotel with Wafa and the team. They were very patient and took their time introducing us to Moroccan cooking and culture. A massive shout out and could not more highly recommend.

Fantastic traditional Moroccan riad with the best quality everything and amazing staff througout. Big shout out to Yousef and Hakim on front of house and the fabulous ladies who looked after us so well at the poolside restaurant. The food and wine were top quality, the rooms were spacious and in keeping with the style of the hotel. There were lots of little extra touches to make our stay extra special. Quality and class from start to finish.

Simply beautiful. This was placed within the medina. 10minutes walk to the souks. If you want to experience real authentic Morocco in style then come here. Winston Churchill certainly did.

One of our favorite highlights of our time in Marrakech — Wafa and Fatimah were welcoming, patient, and friendly. Learned a lot about spices, Moroccan cuisine, and some cultural and historical elements too. The kitchen setting was fantastic, with an on site herb garden tour included. Wafa was kind enough to also give us a tour of the entire retreat after our class. Entire experience was a breath of fresh air and we left feeing inspired to incorporate more Moroccan food into our culinary repertoire. We recommend this experience 110% — well worth the time to do this

Our friends recommended this hotel for our first time in Marrakech. We loved it. The staff was friendly, helpful, responsive to anything we asked about/needed. If you're looking for a luxury American style hotel, this boutique spot is probably not for you. We appreciated the authenticity of the rooms (we stayed in a standard suite down the lane from the reception so had a newer/modern bathroom) and the room had plenty of charm. The beds were comfortable and nothing appeared unkempt or in need of cleaning--NOTHING. It was lovely and the food was truly wonderful, particularly the breakfast! The jazz bar (though played no jazz) had a delightful and fabulous piano player! The bar made my Cosmo drink perfectly -- I'm very particular about the ratios and insist on Cointreau, not Triple Sec. The location is close to the Souk market and other attractions. I can't say enough good things about La Maison Arabe.

We participated in the cooking class with Chef Fatiha. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and we learned so much about Moroccan cooking and culture. The class was easy to follow, with a great set up and easy to follow directions. It was perfect for both beginners and more experienced cooks. Phenomenal experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about the food. Plus it was delicious!

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Marrakech, with outstanding service. It is only a 15 minute drive from the Marrakech airport. Our group stayed in two of the Garden View Junior Suites, which were spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. The hotel has a cozy jazz bar with live music and good cocktails, as well as a full restaurant. Breakfast is served by the pool and has tasty options, including an omelet station and some traditional Moroccan dishes. The service was excellent from the front desk, restaurant, and cleaning service. We also took the cooking class and had fun learning how to make chicken tagine. Very unique experience, historical charm yet with modern conveniences! I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in Seville for 3 nights and could not have had a better experience with the hotel. You deal directly with the 3 Owners and you can just feel how invested they are in you having a wonderful experience. The suites are PERFECTLY located right in the center of everything with the most amazing restaurant just across the street. The suites are large, classic but modern, upscale, beautifully furnished and comfy! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and are thankful to the owners for providing such personalized service.

We stayed here for 3 nights and was very happy with our stay . Our room had a balcony which looked down onto a beautiful courtyard. The property is a bit old but that is part of its charm . The food incredible- some of our favourite meals were at the Hotel restaurant. The hotel has its own cooking school- that should be an indication of the quality of its food . Staff was always helpful and the spa - incredible. Highly recommend a massage and Hammam experience.

Incredible experience in the most beautiful Riad! The location is convenient to many attractions, just outside of the Medina. A quiet and serene 5 stars hotel, just steps away from the hustle bustle market. The staff and service are amazing and professional. Stay here if it's your first time in Marrakech. Stay here if it's your 2nd or third time..you won't regret it! I took the cooking class. I wish I had time to take more lessons with the Dada! Cheers

We are very happy that we choosed La Maison Arabe. It is very traditional and beautiful. The Staff is very friendly. It's in a good location and you reach almost everything by foot. The breakfast was delicious! The pool which is included is also very relaxing. We will visit this hotel again and we can recommend it to everyone which is planning to go to marrakech.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at "La Maison Arabe" and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The location is perfect. The room was not only clean and well-maintained What truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding service. The staff, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any request were truly appreciated. Sometimes, if we wanna know a country truly, we have to know about its food culture. Moroccan dishes, as one of the most distinctive cuisines in the world, have abundant flavors and multiple spices. For me, the very exotic experience of tasting Moroccan foods is quite exciting. I had a unique exploration in Marrakech, the third largest city in Morocco, also called the red city, which was a cooking class for me. The cooking class was teaching me how to cook Tajine. I took a cooking class in La Maison Arabe. The teacher told us: in the West, pepper must be next to salt, but in our country, cumin must be next to salt, and cumin must be in every dish, and that is the Moroccan taste. I already seemed to taste and smell the country's textures and veins, and by learning about local ingredients and cooking preferences, I found that my knowledge of Morocco is just beginning to open up.

Amazing service, amenities, staff, and food! We dined here while in Marrakech and left wishing we had more room in our bellies. We tried the Moroccan salad varieties appetizer which was surprising filling and very diverse with five variations of finger food/dips. Dinner I left up to the server who suggested beef tagine with dates and apricots and I’m still drooling. Compared to other restaurants in the medina the prices are slightly higher, but for anyone who appreciates fine dining it’s very reasonable and to expected. We ate a full meal for two with multiple wine glasses for a total of around $120 US. Still a great price if you ask me. 10/10 would recommend!

I would not want to stay anywhere else if I was in Marrakech. This hotel is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff go out of their way for you, they are amazing! The food is top notch and cooked to perfection. Our room was beautiful, the decor will make you want to copy it! They also offer tours that I would most definitely recommend. I will make sure to stay there again when I return to Marrakech.

I loved this place and it's definitely the place to stay if visiting Marakesh! I visited with my husband for our honeymoon and the staff was kind enough to give us special accommodations. Their rooms are spacious, clean, and absolutely lovely! Their breakfast was delicious and the staff is beyond friendly Everyone welcomed us with smiles. The best thing about La Maison Arabe is that they have facilities you can actually use that live up to a 5-star standard. Their pool is clean and quite big, their spa treatments are at a very fair price and is so beautiful. They even offer dinner at the hotel, it's so good that even people staying outside the hotel come have dinner here. Honestly the price is very very fair for the service you'll receive, and if I ever come back to Marakesh, you'll find me at La Maison Arabe. Thank you to Adel and his kind staff for the great accommodation.

Dined at La Maison Arabe’s restaurant on our last night in Marrakech and it was very good. Service was great and the food was good as well. The ambiance was serene and a musician was playing during dinner. Albeit a bit more high-end than most of the places we ate at in Marrakech, it did not disappoint and was well worth the extra Dirham.

We went for a dinner at La Maison Arabe, the food & service was excellent ! The best experience was our evening dinner enjoying typical Moroccan dishes. Looks like to be a perfect stay for a city break in Marrakech as well.

Spa and restaurant are a favorite stop in Marrakech. Always incredibly thoughtful and considerate service. Merci La Maison Arabe!

I've traveled throughout Morocco on several occasions and La Maison Arabe is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. It actually ranks high up there as one of the best in the world for me. There are many reasons for this...For one, it's simply stunning, with beautiful decor throughout the common areas. It definitely feels like a luxury riad. Most rooms are quite spacious and all seem to be very quiet. The spa is a peaceful landing spot after a busy day in Marrakech. And the breakfast buffet with unlimited espresso coffees are perfect for getting fueled in the morning. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and accommodating all requests. In short, I can't wait to return there soon!

This will be our fourth time coming here for a couples hammam and massage and it is still as wonderful as the first time. Staff are lovely and very accommodating. We have also been here for food and drinks and the service has always been fantastic.

What an amazing team of staff working here. Everyone is so nice and wonderful. I really enjoyed my time staying la Maison Arabe. I'm definitely coming back. To bad I don't have time to do the cooking class, but the manager gave me the tour of their amazing kitchen, which nice of her. Make sure to go and enjoy their garden with a good-sized swimming pool and there's a cooking class there too.

I took a 3 hour cooking class and had a traditional hammam there. The spa (hammam) i was surprised had an all female staff. Albeit they were all good it was a switch from the traditional all male staff, like I experienced in Fes. The cooking school was first rate. At finish I was presented with a tagine. I thought that was a very nice offering. English was widely spoken, which was nice!

My mom and I went for a cooking class and we made a delicious chicken tajine, zaalook salad and taktuka salad. We also, made Moroccan bread and for dessert we made milk pastillia. Our Dada, master chef, was Habiba and she was so sweet, and we had an amazing translator Hassan who was very informative and made the class lots of fun. We enjoyed traditional mint tea with Soukaina. We learned all about the spices and traditions of Moroccan cuisine. This experience was a highlight of our visit to Marrakesh!

I can't recommend this place highly enough. By the end of our stay it truly felt like a home away from home. The Riad sits in a perfect location, slightly out of the craziness of the souks but just a short walk away. The entire staff was super welcoming and helpful, often going out of their ways to assist us. The rooms (we stayed two separate weekends) we both fantastic. Plenty of space, so much beautiful and intiricate art throughout the whole building. The food was fantastic. We loved having breakfast by the pool, eating delicious Moroccan pancakes with nutella and sipping coffee. We had dinner pool side and everything was A+ from service to the food. We were lucky enough to indulge in a hammam and massage while we were there. It was truly and out of body experience. Soo relaxing and just what the doctor ordered after walking around the souks all day. We had a blast at the cooking school, and are excited to try our hand at Moroccan food back home. Hasna was fantastic. Special shout out to Adil, the front desk manager. He was incredibly helpful the whole time we were there. From checking on our lost luggage with the airport, to arranging COVID tests pre-departure, to calling and making reservations and any restaurant we asked him to. The experience wouldn't have been the same without him. All in all, if you're considering stay here, do yourself a favor and book it! You will not regret it!

Great hotel, rooms are very large , bed is comfortable, nice open patio in the middle of the room, room 218 is very recommended. Breakfast next to the pool is very nice and tasty. Hotel restaurant is very good and is always full , need to reserve in advance. The cooking lesson is also a great activity very tasty and mostly recommended. Location is great overall great value for money

We stayed there for a night. The staff offers a great quality of service, and the room was really comfortable and offered an very interesting moroccan “cachet”. Dinner is fabulous at La Maison Arabe, and we also loved the spa. I strongly recommend a visit!

Excellent hotel with a really cool history and phenomenal staff. We booked a suite, which was nice and spacious and the decor was wonderful. The only ding is that both of our rugs would definitely benefit from a deep cleaning (not just vacuuming). Other than that, this place was a lovely oasis in the medina and the breakfast was unbelievably good. We'd definitely stay again.

  • 5/5 Andrew A. 1 year ago on Google
We love this hotel it's full of character and history, the staff are so pleasant. It's in a less touristy part of the medina with a proper local market. I'm sure the more famous luxury hotels in Marrakech are very nice but they don't have the same charm.

I was really impressed with the excellent customer service I experienced while staying at this hotel. All the staff went over and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. They were all very kind and warm and made my time in Morocco a lovely one. The hotel property is intricate and filled with special Moroccan architectural details. The buffet breakfast is amazing and the onsite restaurant top notch with hearty meals and drinks. I loved being able to see Moroccan pancakes being made fresh every morning. The hotel has a more traditional "old medina" feel and if you are looking to experience a more traditional riad atmosphere, this is the place. The rooms are not necessarily super modern/updated and have a more traditional feel but I had what I needed to be comfortable-AC for the super hot days and cleanliness. Other things I loved about this hotel: the pool, the hammam spa, the homey personalized details of the property, it's closeness to the medina and souks and the friendliness of the staff.

Perfect service. Beautiful hotel. Clean. Superb food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Welcome drinks were delicious. Great location. The spa is top notch. Get a massage there and you will NOT regret.

  • 5/5 Nick C. 1 year ago on Google
We stayed here for one night on a flying visit to Marrakech. Only 15 minutes from the airport, the hotel is situated on a very nondescript street a few minutes walk from the Medina district. You walk down a pretty alley to access the hotel, which is really a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle outside. Don't expect a palatial hotel lobby - but the building itself is beautiful. You really do feel that you're in someone's home - full of character and charm. The service from the staff is exceptional - from the welcome drink and pastries to the personal tour of the building. There are two restaurants, a small pool and a jazz bar. We stayed in a standard garden view room which was perfect for one night. If you are after more space, facilities and a bigger hotel chain feel then La Maison Arabe may not be for you, but if you like a more boutique hotel experience, something a bit different and quirky, then this place is great. We would definitely stay here again if we needed to be in Marrakech.

👍 I had breakfast, lunch and dinner here a few times and the food's quite good and well priced. The wait staff is attentive and polite. I did not give it five stars because the bathroom attendant tries to cheat you out of money to use the toilet.
