Dirty rooms with no towels in bathroom. Bed sheets look old and humid. Little fridge is so Dirty and never been cleaned. Floor is also Dirty and wasn't mopped at all after previous guest left. I was afraid to touch anything in my room because of germs. I had to buy disinfectant wipes to wipe the toilet and sink . U can see Dirty spots on every surface. We asked for towels and waited 2 hours then the only housekeeper they have brought us 1 large and 1 small towel for 2 people. Towels condition is miserable because of wear and tear. Prices were too much for a Dirty place. Don't come here. I am warning you. ⚠️ don't believe what they post booking.it d fake

If there is such thing as minus star, I would give this hotel minus 50! Do not book at this hotel, there is nothing imperial about it. Everything is dilapidated, from towels, sheets, the rooms and corridors. And to add insult to injury, right now there is no hot water.

Rooms are spacious and clean but not close to any international Hotel chains. No room service, no phone in the room to call receptor anyone, staff are friendly, cost vs experience can't be justified. The restaurant on the ground floor is okayish but expensive for what they have to offer. The rooms have weird smell of damp and ill ventilation. Stayed just one night here!

Where do i begin...the smelly towels or the smell of the room reminded the putrefaction of a rat. Furthermore, the staff was very diligent about making us unhappy. They succeeded in this task from the moment we arrived until our departure. As our experience of other Moroccan hotels much cheaper and less luxuous gave us a true welcome, this establishment fails to live up both to western and Moroccan standards of hospitality. Enjoy your suffering!

During our recent family trip, we encountered a truly dreadful experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our stay was not going to be pleasant. The first sign of trouble was when we entered the bathroom and discovered its deplorable condition. The tiles were dirty and the overall cleanliness was questionable at best. But the real nightmare began when we noticed that the tap on the basin was broken, making it impossible to use properly. This was a major inconvenience, as we had to resort to using the shower for basic hygiene needs. As if that wasn't bad enough, the bedroom switch proved to be a hazard. It was dangling loosely from the wall, exposing live wires. This was not only extremely dangerous, but it also posed a serious threat to the safety of our family, particularly our children. We immediately reported the issue to the hotel staff, expecting swift action to rectify the situation. However, their response was far from satisfactory. The staff members we encountered were shockingly rude and unhelpful. Instead of addressing our concerns and taking immediate action, they dismissed our complaints and showed a complete lack of concern for our well-being. Their dismissive attitude left us feeling frustrated and ignored. It was as if they didn't understand the gravity of the situation and had no interest in ensuring our comfort and safety during our stay. Despite this terrible experience, the only saving grace was the morning breakfast. Thankfully, the quality of the food was decent, and it provided some respite from the other disappointments we faced. However, it certainly wasn't enough to compensate for the numerous issues encountered throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel experience was a complete disaster. The lack of cleanliness, broken facilities, dangerous electrical switches, and the rude behavior of the staff left us feeling utterly dissatisfied. It's disheartening to think that a place that should provide comfort and relaxation can instead turn into a nightmare.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! Horrible dirty, dark dank rooms. Blood on the bed sheets and filth everywhere. Have honestly never stayed anywhere so disgusting and in some respects I suppose that's quite impressive. We complained about the first room only to be "upgraded" to an equally filthy room with yet more blood on the bed sheets and more grime everywhere. We complained to the cleaning lady who kindly changed our bed sheets whilst swearing at us in Arabic. Underneath the bed sheets was a mattress and pillows which must have been bought fifth hand off a bum on the street corner (horrificly sweaty and brown in colour). I think someone may of actually been murdered on them. A third set of bed sheets with blood on them were put in place. At this point we decided the upgrades don't mean anything and decided to leave rather than contract syphillis or hepatitis B! DO NOT EXPECT YOU TAX DE SEJOUR BACK this is obviously a scam and no other hotel in marrakesh to my knowledge will ask for this before your stay (wonder why). Ultimately and experience but not at all a nice one 400 odd euros I will never see again.. do not believe any review of this place above one star.

I will never be back to this hotel. It doesn't deserve the 4 stars at all. The only good thing about it is the location.

The hotel itself is ok for the price but could do with a fridge in the room and comfortable beds. They charge local tax in full upon checkin so make sure you exchange money at the airport. Shop around for local exchange bureaus after as the hotel seems to give a low rate and didn’t change in the 2 weeks we were there. Do no book any excursions from a very rude arrogant woman who sits in the Lobby, as she will con you.. We asked for a taxi as our previously booked taxi didn’t arrive and they wanted to charge 250mad, when I asked my husband to get his own she got extremely angry and aggressive bother line wanted a confrontation. Anyway we found a taxi for 100 mad ourselves. So remember shop around for better rates and deals

UK CUSTOMERS AVOID-I am from UK took the risk and ignored the bad reviews. You would rather sleep homeless and feel more comfortable. Dark, gloomy, scary, something out of a horror movie!Staff be nice at first until you see your room and complain they become rude and shift the blame. Lobby and corridor smells of damp and smoke. Pictures are nothing like what it looks like. Bed had blood marks all over it. Bath had urine in it which indicated they don’t clean!Trust me do not let the cheap price trick you into staying here.

Currently it is Ramadan here in Morocco. So far, my stay at the Imperial Holiday Hotel has been very peaceful. No construction nearby, and no noisy traffic. I have a nice view of the pool and relax area from the balcony. There is no shortage of shops up and down the street: from fresh fruit, fresh hand grilled goods, home goods, etc. I could not have asked for a better stay here. Aziz has been most welcoming and helpful, always with a smile on his face. Housekeeping tidies up the room when I'm away. I appreciate all they offer. Sure, the hotel is in need of some updates, but it's really not bad. I guess it's a personal perspective. If you want perfection, you'll pay much more. I have nothing bad to say about the property, the location or the hospitality. I'm grateful for the opportunity to visit this beautiful country ❤️. God bless

I stayed at the hotel from 19/5 - 26 / 5.2018. The hotel is categorized as a 4 star hotel, it is by no means. More like in the lower end of 2 star. First the positive: the staff is friendly and welcoming and the hotel is centrally located to the center. And then the negative: The rooms are run-down and the whole hotel is in need of a renovation. I had booked half board, where the dinner was sometimes buffet, but only those times where there were enough guests enrolled for dinner. The other times consisted of the dinner of heated remains from the previous day's buffet. One time the food was close to be uneatable. For good reason, it should be noted that I did not expect 4 star luxury, so my review should not be read on this background. I can not recommend the hotel and I will never stay there again.

The overall experience was ok but the cleanliness was a bit shocking. We found many hairs on the bed and pillows. They didn't really change the bedsheets and the pillow cases. This is appalling specially when you have children with you. The willingness of the staff members to help was present. They changed the bedsheets but it was just removed from another bed and simply dumped on us to make the bed ourselves. To our surprise we found the new sheets had hair too. So we gave up. In the morning we changed the hotel simply. The breakfast was ok, not worthy of special mention. I wouldn't recommend this. The location is good and close to many restaurants. That's why it makes sense to book the room only without breakfast. You will have way better choices outside than inside.

Was absolutely disgusting. The hotel manager was rude and obnoxious. Very racist towards English people. Went there with my wife and 2 children for 2 nights We all did not get any sleep As the room and hotel Was infested with cockroaches. My four year old was petrified. The hotel was very dirty pool looked like it hasn't been cleaned in years. When I told the manager about the cockroaches He insisted it's normal And not to worry about it. Serves me right for not looking at the reviews Please guys Do not stay here.

Avoid this hotel. I have no idea how this hotel hasn't been closed down. I stayed for 4 nights left on 19th Sept. The hotel has cockroachs in rooms, broken sockets, blocked shower, blocked sink and extremely dirty. reception didn't want to know, and didnt send anyone to fix it. staff are rude and unhelpful. Food was disgusting, thankfully there's places to eat nearby. The pictures on the Internet do not by any means reflect what the hotel is actually like. Everything seems to be broken, including the air con, if you can call it that. The pool was a health hazard and clearly never cleaned, there are cigarette ends all over the pool area and also on balcony, We had to ask daily for clean towels they were never lift in room like they should be after cleaner leaves, I'm not sure if they even cleaned the rooms, the sheets were definitely not changed. We had to change rooms as we were overwhelmed with the cockroachs, reception tried to say it wasnt possible, only when i asked for manager did they agree, the 2nd room was just as bad but was only for 1 night. I used the communal loo 3 times and all 3 times I had to ask for loo roll. It's the basic things they couldn't even get right let alone the health and safety of there guest. Saying good morning /afternoon is pointless as they ignore you. If I had booked 1 week I would have checked out on first night. There's a lady who sits at reception who claims she doesn't work for hotel but is there to help with excursions, she's a total rip off and over priced, walk 2 mins up the road and same trip was far more cheaper. Do not even attempt to eat a meal outside a restaurant as you will be mullered by the locals, it was all just very unsafe. Do not waste your money coming to this hotel and if you do expect to be disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would, the place needs to be closed down.

Toilet smells and I flushed 3 times to no avail. Details show a lack of care. Sink water hose has rust and dried mold in it.

We are in this hotel now. I don't know why it has such bad reviews on Google, because it's great. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the sheets are clean, there are no cockroaches in the room! The service is very nice, everyone is polite. Breakfasts are delicious, omelets, bread, cakes, for dinner they serve tajin, various meats to choose from and sweets. The only thing missing is a bathtub in the bathroom, but there was supposed to be one, but there is a shower and hot water. The distance to the medina is a bit long, but it doesn't bother us, we like walking. The overall impression is great, it's clean and nice, wifi in the rooms works very well, of course we recommend this wonderful hotel 😃

Dirty room and bedsheets, cold in the room with heater not working, room looks like falling apart. That wasn't too bad for me until this moment. It's 1AM, the hotel has a disco in the lower floor playing music at very high volume. Impossible to sleep, so I go down and the receptionist while playing with his phone dissmises me saying there is nothing I can do. If you are looking for a good hotel, keep looking

very bad experience....the hotel's pictures are not same as reality, no bathtub, towels not enough, noise at the bar can't let you sleep well, if you have a problem in the room and you want to change it you must pay more !! no park for your car.. you have to find a park by your self.

Good enough location, the hotel is located in the center of the new city, not very far from the train station. Decent breakfast. Nice and polite staff. Clean enough. Bad wi-fi, had to move to another hotel.

  • 1/5 Sara S. 4 years ago on Google
The room itself looks nothing like the pictures online. The bed sheets were filthy and had holes. The bathroom had only one small hand towel and no normal towels?? But don’t worry since the tub was disgusting there’s no way to shower in there. The room itself seems to just got painted so the smell was intoxicating. I managed 15mins while I looked for another hotel. Be warned
