Great restaurant. The place is beautiful, the service is kind and the food is very tasty. They have a few menus which are not expensive at all. Furthermore, when we went, they had local music live!

I think this was one of the greatest finds for us in Marrakech. The food is well priced and everything hits the spot. Great ambience too. And very well located right in the middle of the busy medina.

Good food and service. Price of the menu dish (with soup+main+desert) is 120mad, good value.

Wonderful food - highly recommended chicken skewers, pizzas, tomato salad and Moroccan pastries paired with mint tea. Rachid no.1 was an excellent waiter, very welcoming and forthcoming. Restaurant is at the very heart of Medina. Every night the restaurant offers some traditional live music to create authentic vibes.

Authentic Moroccan cuisine. This restaurant absolutely blew me away. The tangine was sizzling, fresh and delicious, and the complimentary olives were divine. I highly recommend when you’re in the souk and want something that is hearty, tasty, and affordable!

Tasty Moroccan staples here which is situated a couple of floors above a busy street. Pastilla in particular was very good. Nice flavours for the lamb tagine but could have done with more meat.

Great food. Nice setting for an authentic Moroccoan meal. Very busy when we were here. Live music from local musicians as well to entertain us during the meal . Thanks to Google for recommending this restaurant to us.

More a 4,5 but you can't rate it like that. All in all nice place, price food quality is top. Nice atmosphere with live music and candles. Food is nice but not special, the same you get anywhere else so is the taste that's why for me it's not a 5

I was looking for a top rated restaurant bit away from El Fnna square and came across Chez Brahim . Its located at very busy souk/bazar and you may not like the surroundings but food and ambulances is really good. Restaurant was full. Marwan at the door helped us with the menu. Prices are much less than pricey restaurants at square. Add to your list for Marrakesh. Irfan Insta: irfanstraveldiary

Filled to the brim with tourists because it is off a busy street. I decided to try it because of the great (and quantity of) reviews the restaurant had. The vegetable tagine was very good. It came with a sourish red dipping sauce for the bread which you eat with the tagine. Together, the flavors complemented each other very well. Very happy with the food and service here!

I’m so happy I decided to come back here after 4 years!! I came here twice in November 2018 and decided to come today again in November, 2022. Especially because the food is so delicious and the staff is very gentil and hardworking!!! The prices are very cheap for the quality of the food, everything is fresh and tasty, the staff are always smiling and treating people well. I hope you get to meet Rashid, a spectacular waiter that has been working here since 2009! I’m so happy with his service every time I come here! About the food, I’d recommend you to try the chicken pastela and the chicken couscous with vegetables!! Also, have a mint tea with Moroccan sweets as dessert!! The tea only costs 10dh (1€) and you can have several glasses with that little teapot! Enjoy your visit to this amazing restaurant. Also, if you want to get to know Moroccan music, you should come at night, as every night they organize Moroccan music shows, the music is soft and the atmosphere is very relaxing with the background music! Thank you Chez Ibrahim's Team!!!

Casual restaurant at the heart of the market. Food is tasty and good portion for the price. I ordered Moroccan sausage grill and beef tagine with figs. The sausage grill player comes with rice and fries. I asked if I can get salad or vegetables instead of rice and fries and the gentleman said NO. I believe they could be more nice and caring and give some options to their customers.

We got the recommendation from our Air Bnb Host and loved it. Good food, nice place and nice people. There was a band of two playing music the whole evening. We ate two main dishes for MAD 26. Beef Tajine and Vegetarian Bread. They brought a bread, olives and a Dip as an Appetizer. Also the Moroccan Pastries were good, but all with walnut.

The staffs are very attentive, the restaurant has musicians every night, very nice atmosphere. I recommend the beef skewers for the food, and I love the Harissa dip for the bread. Comparing with several Italian restaurants I have been to in Marrakesh, this restaurant has better service, price and food. Have been here three times during my trip!

Very nice restaurant with a friendly service and pleasant live music. Candles and rose petals on the tables added to a nice atmosphere. Best mint tea I have tried so far. Menu, apart from individual choices also offers three course meal set price between 110DHM-150DHM. We have had Moroccan soup, beef/ lamb skewers and pudding: homemade yoghurt and caramel flan. Food was all right, meat skewers nicely grilled however soup wasn't very hot and rice served with meat shouldn't be cold, also no need for french fries, better to replace it with something more traditional. Homemade yoghurt for dessert was a joke- shop bought, still in a plastic container served on the saucer. Very busy in the evening as restautant was full within an hour from our arrival. Strongly recommend for atmosphere. Food...try and make up your own mind.

I had a great experience at Brahim; the personal were so friendly, generous and relaxed, nice calm ambience with refreshing water mist spray on the terrace, and the veggie food I had was really tasty and fresh! July 2021

High quality food, cosy and spacious space, traditional LIVE music The price was a bit higher compared with the average price in the town, but it is fair due to the nice atmosphere

Delicious meal! My partner had a pigeon pastilla - excellent flavor! But be careful about the bones. I had the vegetable couscous -- very filling, good portion without being overloaded with couscous like I've had some other places. They gave nicely flavored broth with the couscous, as well as some delicious tfaya (onions raisins cinnamon)! The bread was clearly old but worked well enough to scrape up the leftover sauce from our dishes. ;) Prices were more expensive than what we saw here (120 for the pigeon pastilla and 70 for vegetable couscous), but we were definitely satisfied with the quality.

Wonderful experience altogether . With live music, and wonderful Tagines , we were so happy to visit Chez Brahim. Located centrally, it offers a cozy and comfortable vibe. The lamb with prunes was nice(only if you like sweet), the chicken Tagine was also pretty good . The caramel custard is worth a mention as it was so so good. Save some space in your tummy for the same. Highly recommended and must visit .

A great spot in the Medina for delicious food and comfortable, lively atmosphere. They do seem to get busy as we arrived at ~7pm and made it just in time to grab a table for 3, I ordered the dinner combination (starter, entree, dessert) for 100 MAD (€10) and chose the Chicken Couscous as my main. It was delicious, and they also brought bread, olives, and a spicy sauce to our table at no charge. We sat right next to the musicians which was very enjoyable, but not at all too loud or distracting. It made for a memorable first dinner in Marrakech

Nice place to have dinner with live music. We had pizza here because we wanted a break from Moroccan food and it was a very good stone oven cooked pizza. We went back again a few days later! Some of the staff are great but some other are a bit rude which is strange. One downside is that they don’t accept card payments, only cash.

Good food and nice atmosphere. I really like the broth came with the couscous as it’s tasty yet not over salted like most places. The grilled meat platter was also nice- I especially enjoyed the chicken skewers. We also ordered the harira soup? Which was tasty, from the set menu. Will go back there again!

Cool atmosfere, sitting by candlelight and live music. But for food you need to wait 1hour… to long, food is tasty, but to long time for waiting. Unfortunately at the end on the receipt they tried to deceive us and marked that we ordered mixed and not sausages. Be careful and read the receipts because they combine.

Beautiful terrace with live music. Set right in the centre of the markets. Food was all lovely. Reasonably priced for what we got. Lots of vegetables which was very nice

Nice local experience that does not look too touristic. The tajine with lemon chicken and olives was good. It was entertaining to have typical live band playing while were having dinner.

Very friendly service staff and the pasta (yes i know i should try the Moroccan cuisine, but i fancied something continental and light) was actually pretty good by Moroccan standards! Im only giving 4 stars because service was really slow even though the restaurant wasn’t busy.

We had the mixed grills and Kefta Tagine. While both were recommended, I find the grilled meats to be exceptionally tasty with just the right amount of seasonings. Prices were absolutely friendly on wallet. Because of these great restaurants in the Old Town, I have to give fancier places like Al Fassia a 4 star.

Lovely restaurant - we got three courses for 750dirhams. This was our first Tagine and it was so lovely - plus the salads were fresh and tasty. Really recommend for an authentic Moroccan meal.

Amazing food, tasty meat skewers and grills. They close until third day after Eid. Worth the wait and good price. I recommend to go with the grill dishes. You can feel spices in the meat.

Easily one of my favourites in Marrakesh. The staff are super nice & friendly. The food is fresh & tasty. For the price paid, which is ridiculously reasonable the quality of the food isn’t affected. It’s a bit of a hidden gem but definitely worth a visit. Also looks can be deceiving from the outside entrance but the actual restaurant is clean & tidy. The mixed kebab with fries was delicious!

The chicken tagine is excellent, full of flavor and with crispy skin. Can’t go wrong with ordering it again and again

Amazing food and atmosphere! The place is beautiful and local musicians are playing interesting interpretations of world hits from baroque to contemporary era. We’ve ordered lamb tagine with figs and nuts and magnificence of this plate absolutely blow my mind! My friend enjoyed me watching eating this food. Thank you for this amazing experience!
