Fantastic rooftop bar. Good place to chill at evening over drinks. Great atmosphere. Attentive service. Pricey but really enjoyed the time here

Went here for a drink 🍸 Nice place, again slightly slow but, very, very friendly. We had peach beer 🍺, normal beer and some house music 🎶 Great night out, enjoyed it. Not the easiest to find but once you do. Nice!

English speaking staff, service was prompt with lots of staff around. Drinks priced to a normal standard. Sat and watched the sunset and enjoyed the view. Would recommend as we found this place by chance, situated just off the main square. Tourist friendly and busy with lots of tourists.

This place is hard to find. It's a little place with stairs taking to rooftop (see pictures) .. parking is very difficult around the place as it gets busy.. the place itself is nice, good food and good atmosphere!!.. the cocktails are very nice too.. overall the. Food and drinks quality is amazing !!.. it is very pricey tho, we paid 1.2k dhiram ( around £100) for 3 cocktails, 3 draft beers, 3 fries and one garlic prawns !!. So it is definitely very very pricey !!

Nestled conveniently next to the center, this establishment exudes a pleasant atmosphere. Our large group of 21 people found the staff to be remarkably friendly, even though catering to our sizable party proved challenging at times. The food offerings were commendable, with a satisfying variety for everyone. Our orders included hummus, guacamole, and delightful dips with tomato, etc. For dessert, we indulged in a tantalizing array of rice pudding, fruits, and pancakes. While enjoying a smoothie, water, and an assortment of drinks, I opted for a michelada with Clamato, which, unfortunately, left me somewhat disappointed—there's room for improvement in that particular concoction. In summary, it was an overall pleasant experience, with the friendly staff and diverse menu contributing positively to our gathering.

We went on Monday night and the place was full. I had reserved a table in advance so we did not have to wait. The food was delicious, we had the sushi, edamame, felafels which were so yummy. The drinks were also very good. Good music good vibes!

We passed by the Kabana and since i saw them on instagram we went up for a drink. Place is nicely decorated and i can imagine it will look wonderful by night. The Sangria as far as i can judge is a little bit over priced for the fruits they added and the size of the serving. But i most likely will be back and will give another drink a try. The Kabana Rooftop is a cozy place with nice interior design. Definitely worth a visit.

Came for lunch midday, no reservation and got a table outside. Beautiful patio, lush greenery, and plenty of sun. The ambiance at this place is welcoming and a great place to hang out with friends and talk over drinks and food. The food/drink experience was a bit hit or miss for us unfortunately, we ordered pretty simple dishes but the quality was just ok. The seafood spaghetti for example only had 2 scallops with lots of empty shells and one of the cocktails we ordered tasted a bit watered down while the other drink was great. However the food and drink presentation was on point and customer service was excellent so we'd probably return again but only for drinks.

Not in the main city but maybe a 8-10min walk from the main center. This is a great option if you want something other than Moroccan food with several options from sushi to burgers. I have sushi which was made well and tasted fresh. I saw several things on the menu I’d come back to try, it’s a chill vibe and I can tell this place gets packed.

Kabana really is everything you expect from a good restaurant. The service is fantastic, the food exceptional. We had a starter of prawns and the main course was leg of lamb with pesto gnocchi, and it was definitely the best dish I've had in Marrakech. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the time we left. The terrace is beautiful, the decor modern and cosy. Everything is very clean and smells great. Thank you for an incredible experience, we'll be back soon.

A little pricey, but everything we had was good. I had the burger, and my partner had the lamb with gnocchi and pesto. Both delicious. I tried a cocktail and he drank some Moroccan beer, we both left happy. Far from our least expensive meal in Marrakech, but we enjoyed it.

Awesome rooftop. Good service and food was amazing. Loads of options. Gluten free items clearly marked! (Only restaurant in Morocco where we saw this). Went twice in 3 days. Drink prices (including WATER) are high. It’s the norm for alcoholic drinks (100-150DH) but I thought 60DH for water was a bit high.

One of the few places I would like to visit again. Grilled octopus was fantastic, also the ravioli tasted very good. We didn't enjoy the lamb gnocchi as much. Probably you can't find this atmosphere anywhere else in Marrakech. It was very lively and a bit overcrowded too. Music was also very enjoyable. Overall highly recommended to try out, but the price is extremely high.

Great vibe and atmosphere. For me personally I would not go here again as they weren't very allergy friendly. I provided my allergies to the waiter and insisted he tell the chef. Apparently I was able to eat the food, as adjustments wasn't made. I then asked the waiter (different to the first person) who brought my food out to our table if this was safe for me to eat and shared my allergies with them again. He assured me it was fine to eat. Because I took antihistamines prior to eating out I didn't react instantly until post meal. I know for certain that the food contained one of the many allergens I had shared with the staff. As persistent as I was for them to check, it seems like this was missed. The service did not meet the price we paid for the food and the tip we left (not mandatory). Fyi. The food was nice but very pricey - expect central London prices. For non allergy people I'm sure you'll love it, but for those with allergies I personally wouldn't go, and would not trust them to take your allergies seriously. Now the next few days of my trip is going to be ruined because of negligence.

Amazing food and cocktails!! They have loads of vegan options that are not listed on the menu so if you are vegan don't let the menu scare you away, just ask - we had plenty of delicious options to choose from. Atmosphere was amazing, great music and good vibes. Incredible quick service as well. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Really beautifully designed rooftop bar and restaurant with stunning food and well crafted cocktails. There's a mix of sunny and shady spots and they provide sun hats too. You could easily while away a few hours just chatting, drinking and grazing on interesting dishes. We'll likely come back whenever we come back to Marrakech.

My 2nd visit to Marrakesh in 1 month, every time I call they are full even with 2 days ahead the day of reservation (week days not even weekend and in November). Don’t waste your time calling them. Many other places exist with better services.

A busy place, which means you'd better make a reservation ahead. The atmosphere is quite amazing especially the view of sunset in the roof. The quality of food is acceptable and most of the food on the menu doesn't belong to the Moroccan cuisine, so it's universal.

Really great little hide away on the rooftop terrace. The staff are great and can't fault the food. Highly recommended the beef ciabata. Live music in the evenings with beer on tap.

Very cute vibes but super overpriced! Just ordered a drink and some truffle fries and paid 200 dirhams. Nice vibes over all but make sure you book to get a good table with sunset views!

Lovely spot, very relaxed atmosphere. A long wait for our coffee but worth it. We had a very lovely couple of desserts for elevenses, saffron cheesecake was amazing and raspberry tart was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we stayed for a beer, although we were up- sold a beer that was almost twice as much as the one we asked for. A pity about the smoking, like on all terraces.

This place is one of the best spots in Marrakesh. The vibe is great, drink measures big and massive smiles by the staff. We went on two nights and on the second night people were dancing on the tables. Loved it!

Our hotel manager suggested we should visit that place and I can definitely see why. A more "european" place in Marrakech, just outside Medina, with delicious dishes, fine cocktails and an amazing atmosphere. Though what impressed me the most was the personnel's skill and professionalism. Not a cheap place to go, but the overall experience was definitely woth it.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere. I ordered the pink gin drink and they brought it out with gin and ice with a can of tonic so I could taste the gin first and then add the tonic and I saw fit. Delicious gin! The prices were pretty high for the area but it was good and aimed for tourists.

Nice rooftop restaurant close to Jemma al Fna. Serve several types of beer, I opted for the Casablanca .5L on draft for 70 DH. Ordered the Kabana Burger which was very good.

We visited Kabana 3 times over our week trip to Marrakech! The staff are 10/10 so helpful, friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. We had the truffle fries, lamb gnocchi, feta cigars and desserts! We really enjoyed the cocktails too. We returned a few times to drink on the rooftop into the late evening, with great music, heated lamps, blankets etc! Also facilities and both inside and out are lovely! Must visit in Marrakech! Thanks so much Kabana!

Horrible experience. I do not recommend going. Overpriced food and terrible service!

  • 3/5 subauser S. 2 years ago on Google
The price of alcohol is high, but that is understandable. The cocktails were nice. They force you to order at least some food, which is also priced as we were in London, alongside the drinks.

  • 4/5 Hendo H. 2 years ago on Google
Not giving it a full star because I was disappointed with the chef who turned back a complaint about the food and made fun of it which I found unprofessional more than the fact about having an issue with the food (story short: I ordered an aldente seafood pasta, the pasta came nicely cooked but not the mules as you may notice un the picture). Apart from that the place offers a nice atmosphere and the staff is extremely nice and hospitable.

Great place to stop for a late lunch after a busy morning at the market. This quiet rooftop bar and restaurant has one of the best rooftop views of the Marrakech old town and new town combined. The food is beautiful and plated nicely and the drinks are spectacular with lots to choose from. About 15 mins walking distance from the old town markets.

  • 3/5 Libby W. 5 months ago on Google
Very western rooftop, pricey drinks (sparkling water as expensive as a beer?!) and our atmosphere was ruined by some rowdy brits nearby (classic!). But had many friends recommend this place to me so maybe our experience was just off. Just be prepared for a tourist trap (as they serve alcohol)! No view like other terraces, it’s on a main road and so mostly enclosed. Staff v friendly though.

Kabana is very overrated and EXTREMELY overpriced. The food was average at best, it's more about presentation than the actual taste. Drinks are extremely overpriced, $39usd for 5 drinks! 1x coke: $5.31 1x double expresso: $6.76 1x single shot of vodka: $13.52 1x beer: $7.76 1x sidi Ali water $5.80. Also, there is no access to the disabled.

Kabana was probably the place with the most non Moroccan menu we visited in our week in Marrakesh so maybe considering coming here after a few days, if you want a break from tagines! We had the gyoza, black ink rice and the lamb burger, and they were all pretty good, not great, but pretty good. Tip - not all tables are out on the terrace so make sure to call and ask for a terrace table if that’s what you want.

The place have nice interior design and beautiful view. About the food its very overpriced (European prices) for the quality they offer. The nigiri plate was pre-made from the fridge, and even when we told the waiter that wasn't good the food, he even understood what we say because he didn't speak English, he just say thank you. The cocktails was very good (still European prices) 12€ probably because its rare to find bars with alcohol so they charge you for that 😉 In generally I wouldn't recommend the place but for experience and nice cocktail its fair enough (not for food)

Kabana was recommend by staff at my Riad. The food was good, but I wasn’t blown away. Very cheap alcohol used for cocktails despite the heavy price (much more than London prices, £15 for a cocktail made with Gordon’s gin) the service was quick but not attentive compared to everywhere else I’d eaten in Morocco. The rooftop itself is nice, but considering the price, low quality cocktails and average menu, it’s not somewhere I would go back to or recommend unfortunately.

  • 5/5 Charlotte Mary R. 1 year ago on Google
Loved this place! Kabana’s rooftop is a secret shaded garden of blooms and tunes. The menu is chic and contemporary Bo-ho 🎣 and the staff are friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend a stop here in between a busy day of seeing the sites of Marrakesh to refresh and recharge.

  • 4/5 ILham C. 7 months ago on Google
I visited this place with my friends, the atmosphere was nice, the food was decent and the design, the setting and the lighting was perfect, the only thing that bothered me a little was the attitude of a hostess that was there who checked our reservation and offered us a table we didn’t really like so we switched to the table next to it which is identical, her attitude after that was a bit rude. Businesses should be careful about these kind of behaviors as it could be a game changer even though the place is nice. Note: this place is not adults only, they do admit kids.

  • 5/5 Billy S. 7 months ago on Google
Highlight of Marrakech bar / food wise. Really great vibe here, sharing platters are delicious. There’s a wide range of dishes here from local style cuisines to Mediterranean / Spanish style dishes. Recommend the Parmesan fries and the feta cigars (to die for). Great cocktail and drinks menu with classics and some with a bit of a twist. Cocktail pops are lovely. Top service, really friendly staff, attentive and good knowledge of menu / drinks. Music and overall vibe felt like you could be in Ibiza and not Marrakech - loved it. Would be back.

This little spot is an expats delight when coming to Marrakech. Most all you will see is expats from countries other than Morocco. That being said the food, coupled with the cocktails, service, and music creates an excellent little spot to have lunch or dinner. Alot of the menu items here are asian or African influenced, but their flavors are pretty good. If you have international friends coming to visit Marrakech you can take them here for a great first lunch impression

  • 5/5 Pedro Sá M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice spot for a drink, serving alcohol and a very European menu, classic sunset trendy spot but a nice find in Marrakech if you looking to have that vibe and atmosphere. I suggest reserving as it's busy specially in sunset times. Good location, friendly and efficient staff paired with reasonable prices and a cool decoration that actually takes you easy for all the pollution and chaos running downstairs. Recommended

  • 4/5 Pia K. 1 year ago on Google
Really nice rooftop restaurant with good seafood. I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation as it was very busy in the evening. Everything is a bit more pricey, but it's normal for the quality and atmosphere.

  • 4/5 Mo 2 years ago on Google
Firstly I'd recommend making a reservation as it is a busy place, we didn't have one but managed to get a table inside next to the bar. However for the full experience it would be nice to be on the rooftop deck. The food was really nice, we had the guac and gyozas for starters, lamb shank and chicken wok for mains, all really tasty. Expect to pay at least 400 dirhams per head excluding drinks. Not the cheapest but it's worth it for a treat. Would have received 5 stars from us but we weren't happy as my wife's main came 10 minutes before mine, they put this down to each dish being prepared in different kitchens. Not a good enough excuse really. Overall would recommend for a nice treat/date night.

  • 5/5 Naitikkumar P. 1 year ago on Google
Slightly pricey on Moroccan standards but definitely one of the most elegant yet happening dining experience we had was here. Starters were ace. Try their falafel for vegan and black rice with shrimp. Cheese stuffed Moroccan cigars were ace too. Highly recommended. No booking needed for weekdays and if sitting inside. Outside sitting are mostly more popular and fully booked.
