Spent 4 lovely nights in Riad Lyla. A beautiful Riad, clean, comfortable and a refuge and the end of busy days around the city. The management staff, Radouan & Lahcen, were very helpful and provided tips and suggestions for getting around and seeing the sites of the Medina and surrounding area. All the staff were really lovely, a pleasure to see each day. Really highly recommend and will definitely stay here again when we return to Marrakech.

Unbelievably good. Excellent balance between generous hospitality and discretion, warmth and reserve. Stunningly beautiful building. Pool, plants, traditional decor. Gentleness and peace. Perfect for couples!

Real Riad experience. And inspite of the sudden border closure and the Riad plan to close they extended our stay three nights. Very welcoming staff. You feel at home.

Had a great time. Ayoub and the team were very accommodating. A very pleasant stay and a great rooftop. Great location.

This was one of the best experiences of my life. What a wonderful place and even more so the staff and the manager, who went far and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. If you're in Marrakesh, make sure to book through their page, since you get a better price.

We were here for our first three nights and loved it so much that we decided to pay double for our last night in morrocco and treat ourselves to this beautiful riad once again. We had a different room the second time (double room with terrasse) almost even more beautiful than the first. This riad is perfect in every way but it also really does have the perfect location. It's right in the medina but very close to the koutoubia which makes it easy to take a taxi or the bus without walking all around the souk (this can be a bit of a pain when you have big suitcases). Also the value for the price is incredible. It is much more quiet and private than other riads yet has a very homey and personal feel. It provides much more space and light than other riads. We loved our hosts and had the most pleasant chats with ayoub. The art in the riad, the delicious tea and all the flowers and the rooftop terraces will be missed so much. Most riads have a room on the ground floor that is darker and noisier than others. But i think even that one room looked nice here, at least it did from the outside. I believe you can't go wrong when booking this riad. A very special place. Spend your time in marrakesh here! you won‘t regret it!

If one is visiting Marrakech, then the stay at a Riad is an absolute must. The photos described in other reviews are 100% correct, so I'm not adding any more photos. The highlights for top rating for this place are: 1. The location, location and location. It is pretty much close to Jamaa El Fina, the main roads, restaurants, Souks etc. Perfect location. 2. The warmth, friendliness and service from Ayub and Mohammed are simply superb. By this itself, this place is worth every penny. The hotel staff (the ladies who cook and clean) are efficient, polite, and ready to address all the needs. 3. The rooms are historic, and the stay here gives a completely distinct experience. 4. The breakfast is very good and customized to individual liking within what they offer every day. The food is excellent as well. The rooms are clean and comfortable, so it is not an issue either. I strongly recommend this place.

Great stay at riad lyla, great location being a 5 minute walk to the central markets. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Great breakfast and the roof terrace is brilliant for a breakfast with a veiw.

We didn't stay in this riad because the last room they had wasn't suitable for us. All the team tried to help us to have another riad suitable for us and they succeed to do it. It was pitty for us, but the next time we will manage to have a nice stay there. Thanks again for the help that night

The best place to stay in Marrakech. Traditional decoration and a genuinely warm welcome. It felt like visiting family. The food was also really good too 😋

super nice hotel, traditional and cute, full of flowers and birds :) the staff is super friendly, respectful and helpful especially Lahsen who helped us on a daily basis, from breakfast till evening. We tried a couple of riads in the city and this one is the best by far. the other one seemed as nice on booking - similar prices, but wasn’t close to Riad Lyla in terms of quality. we’ll be back, thank you!!

Everything about our stay at Riad Lyla was splendid. We had arranged transport from the airport and our driver was there to greet us upon our arrival in a very comfortable and spacious suv. We enjoyed a lovely dinner poolside our first night and great breakfasts prepared by chef Fatima with homemade yogurts, jams and Moroccan pancakes. Our room was very spacious, clean and well decorated and appointed with Moroccan art. The management staff, Radouan and Lahcen, were very helpful and provided tips and suggestions for getting around and seeing the sites of the Medina and surrounding area. They made themselves available to us if we needed anything on the property or needed assistance while exploring the surroundings and made sure we were safe. The property was lovely and enchanting and I can’t say enough about the great hospitality we received from Lahcen. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

What a lovely place to stay! The staff at Lyla are superb - warm, welcoming and efficient. The food was fanatastic too. We really looked forward to our breakfasts. We would love to stay there again in the future!

Perfect place for a family vacation. The staff was very polite. Beautiful place with many flowers around. Tasty food.

Charming, a bit run down, which adds to the charm. The air conditioning is present, but don't expect much, so the bedroom may get quite toasty during the summer. Indoor heated swimming pool. Quiet, and the calls to prayer are not intrusive, but the roosters are. Arrange for the pick up from the airport.

It is like a mini Oasis in the middle of a city. The small complex centres around a square courtyard that is completely surrounded by greenery which climbs the walls to the top of the building. In the centre of all this is a small swimming pool around which you have tables and chairs. As you radiate outwards you have more comfortable seats specifically for lounging in. The top of the building winds around with several spots setup for sun lounging, shade and at the very top a trellis encased seating area. The venue is very quiet, no sound heard from outside. The wifi is fast and as an example I streamed YouTube with perfect quality no loading times. Staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. I tried tipping them and they outright refused at one point culminating in me chasing one to no avail.

Incredible staff and the place is amazing. The location is perfect and the price is very reasonable (cheaper if you book directly with them). The rooms are comfortable and the building is incredibly beautiful.

Riad Lyla may be the definition of the word hospitality. Cool space, literally and a nice respite in the August heat from the street. Clean and comfortable rooms with nice design. Real food made by real people that is really delicious. As we leave Riad Lyla the associates that work here have us feeling like we are leaving great friends! Highly recommend Riad Lyla. Great location too.

All pictures are fake. Very dirty. The pool is molded and smells. The rooms are filthy. They refunded us so we can’t give them a bad review on booking.com

👍 I had breakfast, lunch and dinner here a few times and the food's quite good and well priced. The wait staff is attentive and polite. I did not give it five stars because the bathroom attendant tries to cheat you out of money to use the toilet.
