I feel that the KFC Kogarah Town Centre hasn’t done the brand justice. The food is very disappointing. Chips are stale and cold. Chicken is as dry as sand, and tastes like it has been fried then reheat when customers order. Service is good, but unless the owner changes the way this branch operates, you’ll lose a lot of customers.

The number of poor reviews tell you a story about how this KFC has gone seriously downhill. I went a few times when it first opened and there were quite a few customers lining up. The food was fresh and hot. Went at 5pm on Sunday 30th April 2023 and had the worst KFC I have ever had. I got a mixed feast and below is what I got: - Dry, old and cold chips. Brown in colour. - Large dehydrated potato and gravy. Gravy extremely thick. Likely been sitting in the warmer drawer and had lost a lot of water content. - Cold chicken nuggets. - Chicken tenders that were dark brown in colour, extremely dry, cold, chicken had yellow oil stain and very salty. It tasted as though it had been re-fried. This was the worst part and should never have been served. - 4 small dark brown pieces of original recipe chicken. Dehydrated and also cold. None of what I received should have been served. I think that due to people not going any longer the food turn over is very slow throughout the day and old cold products are being served to the few customers who do go. Chicken is sitting in the warmer for who knows how long. In addition to the above, the staff were standing around giggling and were not being managed at all. When I received my food it was thrown onto the counter. There is zero care and pride in what these people are doing. Whoever is managing this joint needs a wake up call. Totally unacceptable and irresponsibly run. KFC should shut down this branch as it’s damaging their brand. If you want better KFC go to Hurstville Westfield, Hurstville (Forest Road) or Rockdale.

Ridiculously small chicken. This is unacceptable. Smaller than chicken nuggets. Chicken is dry, chips has no salt. The only thing I am satisfied with is the Pepsi.

Staff member linh working on Wednesday evening is not only rude but arrogant and lack customer service skills. She has got no respect for customer and the manager on duty has got no hold of his staff member being rude to the customer. Has been to lots of kfc but kfc kogarah gets the gold medal for worst customer service.

If I could give zero star I would! Purchased 2 boxes meal that choosen for a different drinks but it's not in the bag. While we are waiting on our takeaway order, we have noticed the lady on the counter whose taking order and preparing the order at the same time and did not even bother to sanitised her hand after holding money. I informed this lady but she lied and saying she washed her hand (yeah! Maybe when she started her shift) because we can see any single movement she does and she's bloody liar! It is so disgusting how the food handling procedure in this shop that did not meet the standards especially during covid. I won't recommend and will never coming back.

I cannot express how disappointed I am. The burger patties were tiny, dry, overcooked and accompanied with a dollop of sauce so small you need a microscope to see it. The fries could sell at a vintage sale considering how old they were. Not a single thing was right about this meal. I am telling you there is something wrong with this KFC. For the love of god, just go to Hurstville KFC where it will be served as Colonel Sanders intended it. We are moving away from Kogarah soon and my partner says it is a blessing that we never have to come to this KFC anymore.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! 1) SLOW. The staff do no lift a finger and are barely visible 2) No voice. They don’t even call out names for food that is ready and seem to couldn’t care any less. You are better off spending your money anywhere else….. even satans armpit

Everything in that box was old (smelly oil). On top of that, my patty was nearly half of the size . Cause it was dry hard. It's not the first time , it happened to me. You guys really need a big change in the command. I definitely want my money back and I promise I will never come back here. Thanks

Do they know about food handling? Gloves would be nice if your going to pull my box around. Also I paid for a 2 piece extra on my box meal and got the 2 smallest popcorn chicken pieces ever, Definitely not happy. Pic taken of my meal, will be sending this to head office for sure. Poor show Colonel

i cant belive it i was order single box this what i got 1 burger and 1 small tinder

Probably the worst Kfc i have ever tried in my life. 10 pieces of Chicken burnt and flooded with oil. When i called them , The Manager answered with " What do you want me to do"? An absolute joke and this is the Manager. They'll be reported asap. Do not go there.

This is after telling the employee to fill the box up. Rude and didn’t listen to the customer. The chips were cold, not fresh and had an off taste. Never again.

My order was grabbed by someone else because the staff do not check the ID. I was waiting around for over 10 minutes before I asked, because there was the leftover order from the other person that has gone cold they just gave it to me. Didn’t offer any apologies or to make a new hot one for me.

The dark and oily chicken is small, the portions are greasy and over cooked. 10 piece included three greasy wings, two small legs the size of wings and some other “non- discript” bony pieces - barely any meat on it. There are much better chicken places in Kogorah. Just a few minutes away from this place. I think KFC have lost its edge!! Cannot comment on the atmosphere or staff as this was a take away. KFC Customer service is no help - redirects to the app!!
