Bubbles and I were incredibly excited to venture into this newly opened restaurant, adding to the growing culinary scene in Canterbury. Our anticipation was met with sheer delight as we embarked on a gastronomic journey that left us thoroughly impressed – rest assured, we will be returning for more! Accompanied by a third person, we seized the opportunity to explore the diverse offerings of the menu, which, unfortunately, we couldn't capture entirely in pictures due to our ravenous appetites. Our taste buds danced with joy as we savored the delectable array of dishes, ranging from the tantalizingly spicy karaage chicken to the equally enticing non-spicy version. The spicy soft shell crab, prawn gyoza, beef Tatki, adamantine, panko prawns, renkon chips, agedashi tofu, prawn croquettes, and king fish sashimi all graced our table, creating an absolute feast for the senses. Every bite spoke of freshness and quality, leaving us with a lasting impression. Even the smallest details, like the vibrant flavour of the wasabi, hinted at the care and attention given to each component of the meal. We found ourselves indulging in the culinary delights while accompanied by a couple of bottles of hot Sake and refreshing beers, elevating the overall dining experience. Had a wonderful dining experience!! I ordered a Yakiniku Washoku Set, which came with a delicious block of Tofu, some grilled vegetables, few pieces of salmon sashimi and salad. The juicy and tender yakiniku was absolutely delicious with the mashed potatoes and rice. The sauces with the meat and broccolini brought in amazing flavors. 10/10 would recommend!!

Beautiful crunchy soft shells crab , much much better than the next door , steak nice too , udon delicious only minus thing the fish is over cooked Definitely recommend for the people who live in this area and elsewhere.. will come back

Had Lunch here with my friend for the first time. We chose lunch set, there are so many options from the menu and for lunch. Friendly service. Good atmosphete. Very fresh food. We loved the chicken katsu and steak, so tender. Will definitely come back with my family next time!

So glad to see a good Japanese restaurant in our area, that is so affordable, with friendly staff and a nice ambience. Had the teriyaki chicken set on our first visit and hats off to the chef it was delicious and all the ingredients used was so fresh. Definitely will be coming back to try there other dishes they offer on the menu.
