Food wait was way too long even I saw people who are way earlier than us get their food at the same time as ours which also taken them another 30 mins for us. It would have been at least a decent experience if the food was good. We order only this yummy looking nachos but don't be fooled, it's way too salty to eat without sipping water every two bites. Our tables were never cleaned although we have requested the staff to help us clean. Funny enough, they cleaned the table next to us instead. Staff were never check on us or no host was present when we walked in the bar. Really understand the understaffed situation, but at least it would be nice to have someone update us once about our order. I really don't know what to make with this experience, we came expecting great service and food but left utterly disappointed.

The venue itself is a really nice venue. If you're coming for a few drinks with the boys or gals this place is good for it. The staff were all nice and welcoming. When it came to food it was all nice except for my steak. I ordered the black Angus rump medium and it came out well-done. I told one of the staff and he got the chef to cook me another steak this time really medium. But it came out even more charred and well-done than the previous steak. Told the staff member and he refunded me which was nice. So my conclusion is it's a nice place for drinks but dont get the steaks, the chef doesn't know how to cook steaks.

Service was great, we were seated quickly with our reservation and enjoyed the convenience of being able to order electronically from our table at anytime that suited us. Food and drink delivery was surprisingly prompt especially considering it was a busy Saturday night. Food was delicious and I look forward to visiting again soon. The atmosphere and vibe of the place is also great due to seating and not feeling claustrophobic amongst others

The smallest portions of food I have ever seen. The big parmigiana was a fifth of the size of a normal parmigiana (30$), the chicken bites (28$) had ten pieces to them. Wouldn't refund drinks they didn't have

The food is pretty good. We had chicken Parma’s and a chicken burger. The portion sizes are not huge, but are still reasonably fulfilling. Would have given 5 stars however the service is ordinary (the woman taking food orders just walked away and left a bunch of people in line having to wait for 4-5 minutes for someone else to serve) and the tables are all covered in beer and sticky)

Pretty dissapointing. Came for a drink on the Australia Day public holiday, so orders attract an additional 15%. You don't need to be proud that you're paying your staff correctly. You're expected to pay your staff correctly.

Had the buffalo chicken burger and the large boneless chicken bites. The buffalo chicken burger tasted decent. Nice flavours in general and chicken was moist. The boneless chicken bites had a mushy texture. I do like fried chicken but the taste and texture of this batch was not right (I’m hoping it was just the flavour I chose (Korean fire glaze). Also, the chicken took over an hour to arrive. Score would have been a three, however as the staff were super nice and acknowledged the delay…. plus it was during lunch service (I’ll cut some slack). Therefore, I have bumped my score to four.

Ordered the rib eye with chips and salad, along with 4 Pines pint. The rib eye was not worth $50 or ordering at all. I ordered medium with mushroom sauce. The steak was small around 250g, and was cooked to well done, grey and dry. It felt like it had been cooked before and reheated. Mushroom sauce was not worth ordering either. Disappointing experience even for pub standards. Things I liked were lots of TV's with sport on, the affordable beer, chips and salad were ok.

The Sporting Globe has this Half Time Lunch deal (on Mon to Wed before 3pm - not sure whether for limited time only or long term promo) at $15.90 with plenty of choices such as: burgers, wraps & bowls. The burgers & wraps came with fries, and such great portions 👍! And the bowls were surprisingly good! Loved the nice cold beer too 😘. Sports bar vibe & friendly service, this would be one of my regular lunch spots. I’ve also tried their wings previously for takeaway & they were yum! Family friendly, they have kids menu! Great for group dining, you have the option of order via QR code… but they also have paper menu which has great pictures & details 😃

Had a booking. We arrived and the hostess just tell us to go to table 52 out back (ok, nice when they take you to the table, whatever). We get there, and there's people on our table. We go back to the hostess and finally she decides to come and move people on our table to another table. Strike 1. Next, we order the platter. It comes and they don't bring the calamari that comes with it. Had to get up and get them to correct the order. Strike 2. Finally, it's 11 pm and last call. I finish my beer and go out for a smoke (my party is still inside with my backpack). When I try to go back in, the jerk bouncer (Ashish or whatever his name was) starts yelling at me to say it's impossible and the place is closed. I politely asked him because he saw me go out. And he says no, "you did not ask me for permission to go out" like, what? Permission? He finally tells me to go sit at the bench in front and he'll get my bag. Obviously my friend wasn't going to give it to him. They came out and we left. Strike 3. Never coming back to this place. The food was forgettable but the service was not (because it's the worst in Australia).

I booked a function room at the All Hands for my baby shower last weekend. From booking until the time of event, the staff were very responsive and catered to all the needs of the event. I received a lot of compliments from guests on how nice the venue looked and how amazing the food was. We all enjoyed ourselves and stayed hours after the baby shower ended. Thank you to Ian and his team for hosting such a wonderful event.

Drinks are what you would expect. Good range of brews on tap, and well-spaced seating available for all occasions. Accepts AMEX.

All hands have a great selection of drinks. Almost too confusing for my simple minded girlfriend. None the less, you can be confident that whatever your choosing, you’ll be happy with it! A mix of beer, wine, and cocktails were ordered and all of them were delicious! Bit of a busy venue, but what can you expect with such a great location! Would reccomend to friends and family and will be back next time I’m in the area! :)

We went 4 of us to celebrate our Christmas party around 1’30pm on the Thursday, 9th of December. We had a booking and sat in the outdoor area next to the entrance. The place wasn’t at full capacity since it had many empty tables with the sign “reserved” on them during the whole time we spent there. When we ordered, first we were told that for the next 30min the kitchen wasn’t accepting orders. Too busy. Afterwards, we ordered and were told that it would take us 1h to get the food. The place wasn’t full but I can try to understand it having some logistical issues 2 months after lockdown. The real problem came next. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, a waiter came and told us that after 2 hours we would need to leave our seats. We explained it wasn’t our fault if the kitchen was taking 1h30’ in total to serve us food even when the place wasn’t at full capacity. The waiter didn’t care, he needed his tables empty after 2 hours. Even if we weren’t served due to their fault. A starving Christmas lunch with colleagues while we witness the staff pushing to kick us out or move to another table even if some tables around us were still empty. 2 stars because the food was ok, we had literally 10’ to finish our burgers & calamari to comply with their 2 hour policy regardless of circumstances. An unforgettable experience due to the incredible service and understanding of the staff as you can see. I’m never coming back.

Attended a work Christmas Party and it was raining and cold. We were outside and the heaters were out of order. After a couple of hours the main toilets were roped off for another private function leaving a set of unisex toilets. The queues were long and the toilets were disgusting. Food and service was ok. Unfortunately today my friend wanted to go there for a drink at about 4pm. Was told all booked out. However there were tables free until 6pm. She asked if she and her friends could stay until 5.15 and was told with an eye roll, “oh Jesus Christ “ . and it was all too hard. So very disappointed.

One of the best new Sporting Bars in Sydney. Amazing selection of 4 pines and other varieties of beer. Great for sports as well

  • 5/5 Stuart K. 3 years ago on Google
Wasn't sure how it'd be after rebranding away from All Hands Brewery, but the "beer first" approach seems like it's still there with the full 4 pines range and Keller Door specials all on tap. Good to see there's still competition with Beer Deluxe at the other end of the wharf, and great food to go with the beers.

  • 3/5 Marc B. 1 year ago on Google
Well I'm a little disappointed with this iconic place. Bought tickets online then waited an hour in line to get tickets. In all honesty they were very understaffed. I did however like that the staff were very helpful and polite. I do like that you can just go in for a walk around, but if you wanted to get food or drinks you need to get food voucher. It can become very pricey. But I think Luna Park is one of those places you go every 5 years or so.

If you want the freshest beer you can get in Sydney, this is the place. They brew beer in the venue! Really enjoyed drinking IPA and munching on the crispy shoestring fries. IPA was fresh, creamy and the spices took me to India. Fantastic place to have a few coldies and I give this place 4 bears

Nice finding in Darling Harbour. Happy and friendly environment. Live music. Massive space and a good variety of tap beers! Do not leave the place without to tasting the 4 Pines Wood Duck Nitro Cream Ale!!

  • 4/5 Adrian T. 3 years ago on Google
This place definitely has a lot to love. No frills, no non-sense venue with lots of beer options. 4 Pines brewery on site which for us is a big draw. Came on a Monday and there were half-priced pints and wings/ribs. Certainly can't beat for value. Wings were outstanding and so were the ribs, except the ribs portion was very small. We would not have been happy with 4 ribs when the menu indicates a half-rack. But for half price we didn't want to make a fuss. Would come back on other days to try their other specials.

  • 2/5 Jessica Q. 2 years ago on Google
Typical pub but at a nicer location. Slight more expensive drinks and the food is average. (bit saltier and greasier than expected in comparison to similar foods) Service is average, the waiter's attitude can be dependent. We got a nice one and a rude one. (The glassy demanded us to empty the table with him rather than collecting the glasses quickly and quietly as they should). The ordering system is a bit off to me, you have to put in your personal details to order a drink. A bit dodgy... If you are in the area and desperate, this could be an option. Otherwise, go somewhere better.

If you can get past the rowdy sports bar atmosphere from patrons - the food, staff and overall quality of this establishment is amazing. We ordered a heap of different things to try and everything came out quick, hot and delicious. Staff were very nice and helped us when ever we needed anything especially the older gentlemen who seated us and served us. The security at the door was an absolute jerk to us and customers in line but i didn’t let that reflect poorly on the actual restaurant as our experience was amazing once we were in.

We had the daily special for Wednesday, the MVP Parma with chips and salad and a pint of 4 Pines IPA. The portion was just right and it was cooked perfectly. But, most of all, the price was exceptional!!

Just finished eating and thought id better get on here. Monday night 1/2 price ribs and selected pints. Can i just say the atmosphere is amazing with the sports. The food is incredible. I got the full rack of pork ribs with hickory bbq sauce and my partner got the buffalo schnitzel. A little spicy on the buffalo but nothing a beer couldnt fix. Chef Jack is incredible and manager zac showed the best service letting us know the kitchen is closing and if we wanted dessert (got the trifecta) which we wouldnt have gotten if he didnt recommend. Fresh desserts made in house. *chefs kiss*

If you are an American visiting Sydney avoid this place at all cost. We were turned away at the door by a bouncer at 7:30PM saying they were “at capacity” despite having a reservation and it being noticeably not crowded. After some comments, we quickly deduced it was because the bouncer did not like Americans.

Terrible service. Paid for a $60 cocktail tower. Waited 30 minutes before it still not coming to our table. Went to the bar to ask for the update and they realised no docket had been made, to which they said “aw sorry, its been a busy night.” Regardless of the amount of people in the bar, you don’t expect your drink, let alone a $60 docket to be forgotten about.

Happy hours is actually quite amazing. 6 dollar beers in one of the nice spots in Sydney. Good beer selection. Food is ok, not the greatest, but worth it. Service is good.

  • 4/5 Jeremy L. 3 years ago on Google
Went to All Hands a couple times the last two weeks. Big bar, lots of space between tables, heating rails outside for Sydney winter, no people inside for social distancing reasons, it worked well. The beers on tap brewed locally are dark and rich, suitably good for winter. I tried a few of the gin selection which is broad and a mix of familiar names and unusuals. Food was quite expensive for main plates at $25/26+ so the daily special on a Thursday is selection of burgers, basically either beef or chicken. Not the best value for money but filled a space between drinks.

1 star only can be given here for the waitress who was attentive and pleasant $ 90 for lunch on 7/7/20. Sth fried chicken burger overcooked and dry med rare steak ordered was well done instead 2 beers and 2 lemon lime bitters were fine / seagulls attacking all patrons though is not the restaurants fault we had plenty of time to witness as were sitting for an hour between entree and main Entree was fine as potato skins not much great to say at all the " salad " served with my steak was not good enough to give to a bunny hutch as was limp lettuce only 5 other tables that were seated after us were all fed and watered before we received our food and 3 even left before we ate

Just a tip, please don’t allow people to sit in an area and say “it’s fine” but then come back with the menu and say “this are isn’t serviced and you’ll have to go to the bar to order” (apparently people eat and run from there) when the area that is serviced is only 2m away but I cannot sit there because there are four people seated right next to it. Not the waitresses fault but management should address this. Either get people to pay as they order or discount the food to reflect the fact that I need to do part of the waitresses job.

We loved this place! The open atmosphere of being on Darling Harbour is unmatched. The beers overall were pretty good. The bartenders were helpful with our beer flights too. It made it perfect to watch some American football and have our drinks in this atmosphere. It’s the best one in Sydney in that regard.

A very neat classy establishment with views of the Brewery. Ten varieties of their own brewed beer to sample plus some alternative brews from other breweries. Two of the beers had hand pump tap options aswell. I was there for christmas function which had a set course options. Had a whole wheel of brie for dessert, that was a shock. I would be interested in seeing their regular dinner menu.

Nice place, but can be too crowded and noisy! Went for an office lunch. Food was ok, nothing exemplary, great ales, good service. The ambience would be awesome if the noise level can be less. Almost like sitting in a club.

A delayed review: Overall, I had really great time at the Boilmaker's Dinner at All Hands Brewing House. The pub grub was very tasty and I enjoyed the pairings with the beer and whiskey. It was a great atmosphere and I would highly recommend you checking it out. It's definitely a fun and different experience compared to your average Wednesday night.

It’s a nice place with ok beer but really terrible food; ordered manchego fries with a little bit of manchego dust a lot mayo on McDonalds frozen fries; ceviche is a bunch of tomatoes with some salmon and a cook who doesn’t even know what ceviche is like (really bland by the way and no lime on it!), barramundi is uncooked and bland (also yoghurt on a fish? Put it on the side and let me see if I think your combo is ok, which is absolutely NOT), eggplant is just bland again; Mac and cheese super salty and with pork chicharrón that doesn’t even go! Good for beers, not good for food

Great location. Great food and good beer. Been here a couple of times for lunch or after work drinks. The mains and finger food are all delicious. Mains may take some time for service but they are worth the wait. The staff is very helpful and also agreed to individually split the bill for the 10 people on the table.
