Nothing can be said about here from words here we have such a feeling as if we have become completely calm it feels like there is someone here who understands us the one who is listening to our mind is listening to our heart looks like stay here ,don't go out of here.you go to any beutifull place in the world,go anywhere but the comfort and wisdom we get here will not be found anywhere here we get positive power and the negative things go away.

Father Andy, Michael Paton and the parish team at St Mary's Church North Sydney are the most amazing people. They helped my wife and I to have a great wedding mass, even in 40 degrees plus heat with no power. The normal church service is much more modern and inclusive than other Catholic Churches. The way they have different groups like children, youth and Spanish speakers to have their own masses is a great way for the messages to be more relevant to each audience.

Attended a wedding recently and was disappointed to see people coming and going to confession through whole service. Thought would have been better to let them know that the church had a wedding taking place and could they come back in an hour’s time

Friendly church with great family mass with children choir and children friendly 0900 Sunday mass. Inspiring Youth mass at 6:00pm mass. Youth choir with uplifting praise and worship.

The family mass was barely Catholic. They totally changed the creed and made the consecration look like a cooking demonstration. Why do they feel the need to dumb things down for kids?

We’ve been in Sydney for three months from our home in the South Coast whilst my husband has medical treatment. This church has been a place of welcome, peace and hope during this heartbreaking and frightening time. The community extended their hearts and arms. The children’s mass on Sunday is THE most joyful experience, the music is angelic, and Fr. Sacha, Richard and Andy are men leading a quiet revolution in our church. It is wonderful to see so many women involved with running the church, and so many families and Mums and Dads and children in church. 🙏 My husband ‘returned’ to Mass after many years absence, what a miracle - as his treatment has been. We leave tomorrow but this church will always have a special place in our hearts. A lovely, compassionate Catholic parish run by the Jesuits. The church is historic (eg the funeral of St Mary (Mackillop) of the Cross occurred here), and it has classical church architecture for its era and good seating capacity.
