This place is amazing ๐Ÿ‘ because they constantly update new activities for kids for Free. Thank you Darling Harbour team! You have done above and beyond our expectations. We particularly enjoy the outdoor stuff like Benches, sport activities, sky castle ๐Ÿฐ and Airship. Look forward for more surprises.

Tumberlong Park is a nice open area in the heart of the city. It hosts many events on the grassed section where you will also find a covered stage. I have attended the annual Greek Festival every March for many years in this very spot. It has paid parking close by, as well as easy access to public transport. It is surrounded by lots of popular restaurants and cafes and a childrenโ€™s playground, making it the perfect spot for families.

Nice place to sit around with friends and enjoy a meal. Thereโ€™s a lot of different food places around here, as well as various entertainment options. At the moment, there is an art installation with these inflatable creatures(?) that make faint noises. They change the installation every now and again. Thereโ€™s a lot of park area to sit around, and also formal seating or concrete areas (near ICC). There is always something going on here!

Love this place. a great spot for Sydney to gather and celebrate. Many cultural events are held here throughout the year. Recently visited a Sydney Festival display and the Australia day concert. Great fun. No cover so be ware of the hot sun and be prepared.

The park is fairy large and can get busy but there is quite a lot of grassy area here so there is qutie a bit of space, even if it was busy. There are some trees around the park particularly on the playground end. There were also benches which didn't have any cover. The other end of the park leads to the Chinese Garden of Friendship and there are more trees here as well as a fountain which you can play in.

Went here last night to see the Sky Castle art exhibit that is on there until the 26 December. There are plenty of cafe's and restaurants, plenty of seating, a huge play area for the kids plus a few different water features.

Always nice spot for families with children for walks, play and quick bite. It's Sydney's harbour theme park for a harbour cruise, souvenir shopping or visiting our water world or marine museums.

It's a meeting place for people and is central. Pity now it's been overdveloped on all sides with tall buildings. But its still a nice place to go to.

It's a public CBD park near Darling Harbour, ICC centre, W hotel, Japanese garden. Restaurants and cafes are available for 7 days. Playground facilities are provided for kids with high safety. Some events are held on weekends. This month is Woman's World Cup football being held for 1 month with a big screen and pop up store.

One of the nicest people watching spots in Sydney. Always a cool, usually free, activity going on. Plenty of Police there as well so it is relatively safe and good for families. Can get quite busy when thereโ€™s an event or function going on. Nice place to relax.

nice big, spacious, family and kid friendly park/playground nestled in the heart of the Sydney City CBD. Lots of great food options, dining space and picnic spots around the park, surrounded by fast food options and more fancy restaurants and cafes. Tumbalong Park is equipped with a huge playground with a water fountain and splash park directly next door with sheltered seating, public toilets every couple hundred metres, and a very accessible public pedestrian access all around with multiple public transport facilities like the light rail and trains, being a 5-10 minute walk away. Overall Tumbalong Park is an incredibly popular, accessible and loaded with many different attractions and activities, for individuals and family.

Visited this place after a long time due to restrictions. Nice to see people out and about. Some restaurants were open and I am hopeful and optimistic that more will open as more and more people start venturing out. Good place for picnic with kids. Accessible car parks nearby as well as close to public transport.

I think one of the Best playground is located in Tumbarong Park. So many interesting things like swing, slide are here. Kid can enjoy and spend full stamina here to play. Not only for kid, but also for adult, this place is really enjoyable place. In addition, very good restaurants or cheap franchise such like McDonald are just beside of this park! so do not miss it!!

  • 5/5 John C. 3 years ago on Google
There are some great kids facilities close by with a series of water features that the kids can manipulate themselves. There are also plenty of dining options nearby on almost all sides of the park. The park is walking distance from the city and is also accessible by public transport although not specifically close to any train station full stop you would need to use a combination of buses trams series and light rail depending on which direction you are coming from.

Tumberlong park is a nice open area in the heart of the city. It hosts many activities on the grassed section in which you may additionally find a blanketed degree. There is also a lot of places to devour around, perfect for a circle of relatives day out when sunny, especially if you have little ones. (Translated by Google) It's always passing, but it's a pleasant space There is also a pretty Chinese park. In the afternoon, you can watch the young dance crew kids who have worked hard and do hobbies. On a fine day, I sat on the grass and read books. I don't recommend it because there is a lot of new shit.
