BEST coffee in Double Bay, wish l had found this little secret years ago! Friendly staff, great customer services. Brought my own beans so l can have good coffee at home, will be back for take away.

This place is so genuine that it makes me laugh at those "flash" coffee places. Andrew is a true coffee expert with a passion that doesn't need some million dollar fitout. Great product and even better...no the best service. I love being a customer. Thanks Andrew you're a breath of fresh air.

Spent most of my life as a local, and as a coffee addict. Having travelled far and wide this remains one of Sydney’s, and by extension, the world’s best coffee stops. Freshly roasted varieties on offer with all the coffee accessories, European sweets, and designer glasses to stock up on - this is a slice of old Europe blended with a generous helping of Aussie hospitality courtesy of the legend husband and wife team that run the joint, with just a hipster edge of discerning taste and minimalism. This isn’t a sit down place though, get a takeaway, admire the set up and have a yarn with the owners and head for a walk around the gorgeous shops and beachfront in the area instead. 10/10 and a must visit if you’re a coffee person and in the area.

Great coffee roaster with variety of beans (about 10 or so), ground and packaged to order for any coffee maker. Also sells pretty much most coffee making apparati possible. Great selection of chocolates, cookies and seasonal sweets from Europe - Great for presents. Also makes coffee for take away. Not a place to sit down, but a delightful little boutique with great service nevertheless.

Hole in the wall coffee shop with what I believe to be the best coffee in Double Bay and also the cheapest despite the razzle dazzle of other cafes. Loveliest couple who are always happy to chat

Andrew and Natalie roast some killer beans I use at my coffee stall. Every time I go in the cute barista Max is always smiling too.. hopefully one day he asks for my number :D

I have been buying our coffee beans for home consumption from Elbon for years. Best and freshest coffee you can find and not overpriced. Andrew and Natalie who run the shop are the nicest people you could meet.

Elbow coffee has been an institution for years. The Coffee is always good, and the new(ish) owners are really nice and friendly too. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Good coffee without the fuss.

I was underwhelmed. I could hardly taste the coffee in my mocha. It was a sweet drink and that’s all. Mocha being one of my favourites, I was expecting the best having read the reviews. Disappointed to say the least.

Having to Elbon Coffee on numerous occasions I can happily say that it's the best coffee i've had in the eastern suburbs. Whenever I go the service from Max, Andrew and Nat is always the best.

For the past few years I haven’t been able to settle in on a good coffee bean. Today I purchased 2 kilos of coffee beans. Nice little shop, feels more personalised as I got a mixture of beans. Just made my first coffee and I love it. Will definitely be going there from now on. A bonus I got to play with Dudley, very cute little dog.
