This place is worth the visit just to see the architecture of buildings in years gone by. Lots of shops, mostly high end, with a huge array of eateries. This mall is in an older building and is beautifully set up. We went there in November and the big Christmas tree was already there. Interesting shops and nice restaurants. We stopped at one for lunch and were impressed with the food and service. Would recommend a visit if you are in sydney for more than a couple of days

This building is spectacular in architecture, design and detail. I suggest visiting in the early hours before the crowds arrive so you can really take it in. From the archways throughout to the varied stain glass designating different doors to the beautiful stained glass dome in the center and so much more, this building is iconic and well with a visit. Beyond that it has some expensive, but incredible shops that match the level of design and beauty that the building itself is known for. A must see in Sydney.

Beautiful multilevel building with a nice variety of stores and facilities - including some upmarket brand stores, many health and beauty stores, gift shops, and cafes. Below street level links you to Town Hall train station, The Galleries Victoria building, Westfield and other street level exits. There are nice staircases, elevators, escalators, and toilets. Often a lovely bit of art being showcased in the middle of the building. Nice for a walk-through instead of walking along the streets too.

The Iconic building and shopping centre in Sydney centre. You can do shopping, admire the historical architecture building as well as enjoy the international eateries under the same roof. There are some special shops here that you might not find at the other shopping mall. QVB is located adjoining with the Town Hall train station.

The Queen Victoria Building is a true gem of historical architecture! It's beautifully preserved and still retains its original charm. The mall is massive and bustling. Instead of the usual chain stores on the ground floor, I recommend taking the time to explore the unique and characterful boutiques on the upper floors. We stumbled upon a handmade perfume shop – truly one-of-a-kind. It's a fantastic place to discover hidden gems away from the mainstream shops.

Such a beautiful and historic building full of small shops and cafes! We were fascinated by the clock. We had beautiful weather while visiting Sydney so we did not spend too much time inside, but if you have a rainy day this is a great place to spend it.

Beautiful building, must go and have a look inside, a lot of lovely and specialised shops in the higher levels and such beauty. I was surprised eight the basement level that Interconnect to the town hall station and so many more shops downstairs too! The building is really clean and has a really nice feeling, there are a couple of tea room inside and I’m sure it would be an amazing place to have afternoon tea !

Queen Victoria Building popularly known as qvb is a beautiful place with old type lift ,many stores and restaurants. The giant Christmas tree is a must see during Christmas. The decorations will be super. It's a never boring place. The clock is also the main attraction of the building .

It is a very spectacular and lovely building with a sense of history. Once inside, there are several cafes and stores. There is a piano on the second floor, and anyone can play it freely. However, some of the keys are broken and out of tune, so they may need to be repaired or tuned. The sound is not good. I think that one day a very good pianist will appear, so it might be better to repair it before Christmas. I am sure that further customers will come here to hear that pianist play. It was a very classy and wonderful place. It was a very pleasant place to shop, enjoy the cafes, and walk around!

Free Wifi. Concierge middle ground floor. Toilets level 1 north end. 5 levels of nice shops, cafes. Light rail stops at QVB & Town Hall train connects to QYB and straight up to Pitt St Mall. I like Luxuria Swiss high end watch shop on top floor. Beautiful well kept historical building.

Love this building! Been coming here especially when I visit Sydney now that we live in Hobart. But it's still as glorious and elegant as ever! We stay at a hotel nearby so it's a bonus we can come here early and not many people yet, I love that, no crowds to deal with! The cafes are not so expensive if you know where to go, either downstairs or at Vienna Coffee Co. Just look at the Chef's special, order one main, share and get a baked pastry or cake, you're good to go! I also got goodies, some fashion jewelry, bags at Tony Bianco (on sale) and the other bag shop downstairs, I forgot the name. For quick meals, go to the Food Court downstairs too!

So incredibly beautiful, elegant and sophisticated. My favourite European-like mall in Sydney with iconic Queen Victoria statue at the main entrance. Love the many, many cafes, antique stores and boutiques, including the powder rooms. I could spend days here.

Another beautiful Sydney gem. Entering this building is like stepping back in time. There are plenty of high end shops in the main areas (and the usual shops in the basement). However it’s worth exploring what’s in the higher levels

The beautiful exterior and interior decoration make it possible to shopping, but it also seems meaningful for a simple visit. The floor was decorated with small tiles and the windows were nicely decorated with stained glass. The large clock tower in the center was very impressive and unique.

I love the old-world charm of QVB. It's so nostalgic there. They have some very interesting shops and cafes. It is amazing that it used to be the horse stables. So much history in this building.

The nicest and grandest place to shop and eat in Sydney. The Victorians certainly knew how to design a beautiful building- magnificent stained glass and glass dome. Quirky clocks with a display every hour with a diorama of English history, including the beheading of Charles I! It’s a joy to shop in the varied collection of stores.

Nice shopping mall. Good selection of shops in historical environment. Victoria's basement has a GREAT selection of household items. As a German who lived in Vienna for 3 years, both the cafe "Vienna" as well as the "German" bakery were rather underwhelming.

Such an iconic place for Sydney. There's a collection of high end retailers and fine dining. It's always a good place to visit during holidays when it's decorated for the occasion. For a historical building it ages very well with all the modernisation happening around it. Located in the heart of Sydney it's surrounded by public transport options. There's also an underground carpark available for visitors on their own four wheels. A must visit in Sydney IMO.

  • 3/5 Jiwoo S. 1 year ago on Google
The outside of this building looks like an European architecture and inside there are multiple stores and especially cafes or restaurants have their outside seats in this building. It's worth to go and look around one time if you don't do shopping.

A must visit when in Sydney! One of the oldest shopping building around. Its got many different types of shops from high end to mid range stores. The interior is beautifully decorated victorian style. Parking is very expensive around the area and I suggest if you drive to book in advance your parking online at a much cheaper rate.

Most historic building in Town hall area, Sydney. Famous for its architectural design, high end shops (dress, ornaments, bags) and eatery along with an Australian chocolate shop. With passage of years the design of the building hasn't been faded.

What an amazing and grand old building this is, yet filled with a vast array of cool fashion shops, bakeries, food outlets and way more. The choice is staggering for an inner city mall actually. Beautiful building! Both inside and out. There's a wide variety of shops for all tastes... but worth a look at the architecture even if you don't like shopping.

  • 5/5 Jenny C. 9 months ago on Google
An incredibly beautiful building that has been turned into a shopping centre. The shops have been sympathetically merged with the old architecture. There are toilets and places to eat. There is also a parents room, which includes a microwave for heating food. The building is wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with a disability on some of the floors. There is free wi-fi, which ran at a reasonable speed. There are also a few seating areas in the shopping areas, though these were not very clean.

  • 5/5 Paul Frederick C. 1 year ago on Google
A building with one of the most beautiful facades in the city is only matched with the quality of the shops. Although it has a narrow passageway for flow through traffic the place still doesn't feel crowded despite the hige number of people visiting this place. This is a must visit place for tourists and locals alike.

  • 5/5 Jesse G. 8 months ago on Google
What an amazing shopping experience! Countless stores or everything you can think of. It was a good bit busy when I went but it's a mall downtown in a major city, what do you expect.

  • 5/5 Erin M. 8 months ago on Google
One of my favourite places to wander when I have a few free minutes. Plenty of choice for coffees, a quick or a slow meal and great window shopping. The tree in the centre at Christmas always looks amazing. During the day, the stained glass windows allow beautiful light in the centre. Love the old world class of the building, wonderfully grand. A grand piano on level 1 or 2 is available for those with skill to entertain the passersby.
