I’m so glad that I’ve booked to see Ran Lin the Optometrist at 1001 in world square. She’s absolutely amazing, she’s very professional in her job and full of attention to her client with every detail. She has great knowledge of the product. She provided me with such a great advise and clear explanation, which related to my eyes and my contact lenses. I’m very pleased and happy that I’ve returning to 1001 optical again after I’ve been with them for so so many decades. They never disappointed me 😊. Thank to Ran Lin for such for being so patience with me. Much appreciated and definitely will always return back to her again and 1001 optical. Thanks

DO NOT go this store, lots of trap!!!! I paid $100 to repair my glasses ( frame hinge), after I picked up , it broken by itself on the second, obviously it wasn’t repaired properly. After I back to the store, they said it’s repair, so no warranty. He said: ‘Lots of my customers fixed it today, and broken tomorrow, it’s common sense.’ So no refund , and no fixing up. He asked me if I want to pay another $100 to fix it again, or is I want to buy a new one. Who would pay the $100 at the first place if his ‘repair’ can only last 1 day???

NEVER COME TO THIS SHOP, I bought a sunglasses a week ago and i want to change it but they don't give a refund. How come the scratch there? If i' not wearing at all. It's really disappointed me. He just give me a discount for next purchase and he didn't solve a problem at all! VERY BAD AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

She ordered new lenses based on a prescription I supplied to her and had them cut according to previous measurements from the last time I purchased glasses at 1001 Optical. She even had the lenses shipped over to me :) She kept me informed the whole process and was very accommodating with my requests. Samantha has been my go to optometrist for quite some time. Her eye tests are thorough and educational. She has a very good grasp on face shapes and what works and doesn’t ... saving lots of time. She knows my style better than I do, and calls when she has spotted my next pair. I also enjoy her sense of humour. Thank you for providing qualified staff that look after their customers.

Today, I had an eye test with a view to upgrading my existing specs at the 1001 World Square outlet in Sydney. It's my yearly one. I must say that, after having had so many eye tests over the years, I was most impressed with the service there .. at the front desk - Jun was the person I spoke with. No pressure. He listened to my requirements and helped find the right frame. But, more importantly the optometrist who examined my eyes, by the name of Angel, was most impressive by virtue of the care she took, her knowledge and the thoroughness of her examination. I was so impressed with the service that I dropped 1001 a thank you note. I said that I had found the exercise most informative. In addition, I thought it useful to write a review here.

Anna is professional, friendly & caring. Was about to switch to a nearer optician which was closer to my new doctor but found Anna indispensable, reassuring & puts me at ease. Anna is insightful as she found a hard to spot scratch or abnormality on one of my retinas (which is challenging to photograph as it is on the far edge) & continues to monitor any changes. Staff is friendly & welcoming. Definitely recommended.

I do not really go for optical store, but recently I visited two places in the World Tower to buy sunglasses and get a test . One of the those only recommended expensive ones, so I did not feel comfortable. On the other hand, I could feel the long experience of the director from 1001 Optical World Tower who helped me to buy proper one, and I am very satisfied with purchasing through his advice.

My trusted place to go for eyes check up. Best service and very detailed information regarding our eyes condition. Been here for over 6 years.

I need prescription for inflammed eyes urgently, rejected by another optometrist near by, due to first time customer with no history established with that optometrist, not saying they are bad, I understand she sticks to her professionism but my eye was really aweful and my specialist doctor said I am OK to use the drug. It was also recommended by sydney eye hospital that i can get it from optometrist. She didnt even bother checking my eye at all., just rejected me cos she didnt have my history. Asked help from 1001, the pretty optometrist checked my eyes carefully like a doctor, asked a lot of questions and saw the urgency for it. I was saved!! Amazing service too!!
