I
had
fond
memories
of
staying
at
this
hotel
about
4
years
ago,
lovely
floral
scents
throughout
the
hotel,
clean,
spacious,
upmarket
and
great
service.
Sadly
my
stay
last
night
did
not
live
up
to
previous
visits.
All
floors
I
visited
smelt
of
cooking,
predominantly
dried
garlic.
My
room
smelt
of
musty/mouldy
old
carpet.
Was
able
to
cover
smell
in
my
suite
by
purchasing
a
can
of
Glen
20.
When
I
first
checked
into
my
Executive
Studio
suite
the
temperature
inside
was
approximately
40-45c+,
I
set
the
a/c
on
cold
mode,
19c
and
high
fan
speed.
An
hour
after
checking
in
I
could
not
feel
any
air
circulation
in
the
room.
I
put
my
hand
up
against
the
a/c
vents
(which
were
pretty
clogged
and
dirty)
and
was
only
able
to
feel
a
very
fain
wisp
of
airflow.
Both
the
front
desk
and
the
maintenance
staff
said
it
was
working
fine,
this
Was
the
high
fan
setting
and
that
I
should
close
the
curtains
to
keep
the
sun
out
and
just
wait
(even
though
it
had
been
running
for
more
than
an
hour).
This
experience
was
compounded
by
a
stance
the
front
desk
staff
took
of
little
to
no
desire
to
aid
in
resolving
the
issues.
Overall
very
disappointing
and
definitely
not
worth
the
premium
price
tag
in
comparison
to
other
hotels
within
the
cbd.
I
visit
and
stay
in
the
cbd
on
a
weekly
basis,
I
think
I’ll
be
opting
for
one
of
the
many
other
places
many
of
which
are
very
clean,
new,
fresh
and
the
staff
actually
bend
over
backwards
to
make
customers
happy
and
resolve
issues.
