The renovations have been completed near the front entrance and the place looks great! There's plenty of parking now too. The buffet upstairs is excellent. They have Aussie- Chinese favourites like honey chicken, sweet and sour pork, spring rolls etc. They have a great bbq section with all kinds of meats like duck, pork, beef and chicken. The salad bar looks super fresh and the seafood is lovely. The dessert bar is stocked with cakes, ice-cream, pudding and mousse. I loved the chocolate cake. The soft serve machine wasn't working properly when we were there though, and the ice-cream was a bit too icy. For members, the full buffet is $26 - great deal. It's not including your drinks though.

It's my favourite place in Merrylands to eat, meet friends, have a drink. The restaurant Villagio has a big variety of delicious plates. I also like to watch the live music show and entertainment with amazing voices.

came for a work organised event, it was more dis-organised if anything. unsure as to why you would only assign 1 server for 160 guests - on top of that, she was extremely rude; we all offered to help her but she expressed her frustrations onto us. food came out extremely slow and was sub par. i wouldn’t suggest having an event here, unless you want to be disappointed.

Went here with my wife for lunch during the week and it will definitely be our last time, would give it -10 if i could, the food was disgraceful! Tasteless. The pictures of the food in their buffet is very deceptive, definitely does not look like that, imagine 1 week old food! The whole buffet area needs a major overhaul to bring it to this century.

Cheap all you can eat buffet for $33, however you need to pay $10 membership if you live in the area. Soft drink bar is not included and you need to pay for drinks. One glass is $3.50 for Pepsi. Some of the food taste stale, the pineapple is canned and the garlic bread does not use fresh garlic. There is good variety with the food, hot food, veges and desserts but the quality is standard. Staff seemed nice. Overall I would recommend if you want to eat a lot of food but don't mind canned goods and paying for drinks.

Come here all the time for all you can eat. They have a massive selection including a bbq area with great food. There also a little stage area for show down near the bar and a nice little area outside to have a coffee or tea with a smoke

We had lunch on Wednesday at 3pm at Villaggio in Club Merrylands. It was very nice. Great price, wonderful service. Can recommend it to all especially if you want a meal outside normal catering hours

It's not Sheraton on the Park but neither does it charge like Sheraton on the Park. The food is plentiful, varied and delicious. The same goes for desserts. The restaurant is clean, as is the crockery and cutlery (they never ran out of those either). Most importantly, the staff remained patient and helpful throughout the entire evening.

Function team consisted of one wait staff. Food service was slow. When guests offered assistance the wait staff replied “there is only one of me and 160 of you.” Drinks were not refilled even though this was in the package. The food was under catered. Poor staff. Poor service. Disappointing. Paper plates where used and had to get our own cutlery and napkins. Would not recommend for functions.

We went to the buffet upstairs!! We were booked in with other members and they put us in a corner where we all couldn’t fit!! Some of us didn’t get to eat on a table.. There were 2 buckets on the floor cause the roof was leaking water which could be dangerous!! That area should’ve been outta bounds!! Not happy with that place and will never go there again.. Good price for a buffet though but what I seen last night, No Thank you..

We had lunch at Jade Cafe 11/9/2022 Very disappointed ☹️ Satay chicken was like soup with bad quality fatty chicken and hardly any vegetables. Laksa soup was full of Noodles and nothing much else. Won’t be go back there. It’s better to serve good quality meal with a small serving rather than what we were served today.

We visited this eatery in Merrylands bowling club several times. The quality of food is gradually sadly decreasing. It’s disappointing. Last time we ordered steaks but they are so hard and can not be eaten. Pizza was dry and not tasty. It was much better food a year ago. We almost stop eating there as food was not value and taste for money. Disappointing!

Always an enjoyable place to be. Italian, Buffet, Cafe restaurant. Love the food and people. Wonderful staff. Merrylands Bowling Club has one a the greatest atmospheres ,people and staff are super friendly. Raffles are fun and always so much to be won. On entry Kamali will welcome you always with a smile, he always goes out of his way for guests. 5 dollar ubers pick up and drop off in area. OMG Jade Cafe is my favourite place to eat, Danny and staff are great at serving up superb food.I have been going here for well over 10 years and have to say I will continue to patronised this establishment for many years to come. I've been coming here for 17 years and never disappoints. I do miss the little restaurant that used to be downstairs around the back. Always good food and descent prices. More space now, which is good.

Great food. I love food hence the 5 stars. Everything presented well. An abundance of items to eat for all. Minus half a star for no sprinkles no marshmallow and no flavoured ice cream. Best buffet Ive been too. Make a booking today. Oh yeh. There's also the downstairs part, but that's not important 😂

Love this club. Well worth checking out if you're looking for somewhere to meet up with family and friends for a meal or catch-up.. Recent renovations have brought it into this century and made it a sleek looking venue with multiple dining options, several bar areas and kids play area. Plus it's still a bowling club. It also now has a state of the art function room with outdoor space.

Recommended. Food is mostly good and varied. Pleasant ambience. Dinner is almost $10 extra per person but they put out more food like a grilled section and extra seafood options. Overall 7/10 Service 7/10 Parking 8/10 Food 7/10

Attended a Christmas smorgasbord at $45 per head. Sign in desk was ridiculous queuing with only 1 staff member on. Food was disgusting. If I could give it no stars I would. 1 bar with inexperienced staff who were rude so more queues. Never recommend it to anyone. Toilets had been fouled and I had to report it no cleaner attended.

I enjoyed the buffet at the family restaurant inside the club. I do miss buffets ever since I visited a few other clubs which don't have them. The environment wasn't too loud and there was plenty of seating.

An absolute joke of an establishment. Requested ID but refuse a valid Australian passport. Never have I ever been refused based on ID when presenting a passport. At least list the accepted ID on your website if you don't follow the normal standards of clubs. Last I checked: Passports are valid photo ID.

Had a 21st occasion here on the terrace outside with our own private bar and private seating area. It was so lovely to be outside on a Springs evening. The added touch of the fairylights (provided by the party) made the ambience soft. The décor is stunning. Staff are friendly as well as security.

Went to Villaggo for lunch today with my family and friends. We all ordered pizza and some other dishes. Customer service was average not bad not good either. The food came quickly and was well made. It didn’t cost that much to feed a group only $150. Would go there again as the atmosphere was great.

Staff were lovely and friendly... Club itself wonderful.. Haven't been for several years as I live down past Wollongong. .. Food was good but it was just warm which was disappointing.. Dessert was delicious 😋

I've been going to Club Merrylands Bowling Club for 12 years. I love the expansion and rebuild features. The training and function rooms are beautiful. Toilet upgrades fantastic. The new restaurant yummy yummy.

Not for me. The price is fine but the quality and the variety of the food is just not satisfactory. We have not had buffet in a club for a long time because of the pandemic, after two years not having this kind of buffet, we compare the one in blacktown we used to go, this one disappointed us a lot. We do not recommend it and will not come back.

our group of 20+ had dinner at the star buffet, the atmosphere was ok, the chairs in the area we were sitting in were worn and dated, the food is not as great as it use to be a few years ago, not as tasty and meat was abit dry the desserts use to be my favourite thing there, but it was a chore trying finish what i had put in my bowl. Yes price is cheaper than other buffets but that was also reflected in the quality of the food. Many of the others in our group enjoyed the food, but I know this place use to be a lot better.

My friend got the Marinara, it had a-lot of sauce and very little seafood. They asked us how the meal was and when we told them we were disappointed about how much seafood there was in the Marinara considering the price, the chef came out and dismissed our complaint. Basically, too bad, it is what it is. Very disappointed with the service and seems very poor value for money

Wow there has been a lot of renovation of this club since I was last there many years ago. Bistro is fantastic, good menu, mixture of western & asian cuisine. Large serves, reasonable prices, lovely staff & service. The club was busy last Saturday night, you can understand why, All of the above & they had the "one hit wonders" cover band. Great afternoon, converted into a great evening. Give this club a try, you won't be disappointed.

Been going to this place for over 20 years now. Alot has changed and expanded. Food choice buffet still my number one all you can eat. Great place for families.

A very warm & welcoming atmosphere created by a team of friendly staff. Loved that the restaurant manager worked the floor ensuring all was fine. Had the sizzling seafood bowl, enjoyable though a little too much tomato base for my liking. Would definitely return.
