First time at Two Chaps and absolutely loved it! Loved the fresh home made soda. I had the Finger lime, & My friend had the Raspberry Lemonade. (Not sweet) I loved how the Sticky Chai was presented in the cute teapot, with the hand made pottery mug. Which they sell in the store as well. ($35 each) Our lunch of “Hash browns” “Sour dough crumpets.” Were perfection, crunchy on the outside and soft pillows inside. Omg the green goddess sauce on point! On the weekend they sell fresh bread like sour dough, wheat grain etc etc. We also bought some baked goods to take home. I couldn’t wait and demolished my “Chocolate, mixed berry with pecans” muffin. Yum! Great vibe, always a wait, which is a good sign that everything is awesome! I’ll be back when I’m next in Marrickville!

It is a super busy cafe with a long queue. However, the vibe was good and service was nice. The food and drinks were delicious, I would recommend the gailan fried rice! Also you must try their donuts. The only downside was the leakage from the ceiling...we were having some random drops of water splashed into our cups and food. Otherwise, the overall experience was great.

Food was good, not great. Interesting menu. Service was pretty good. Tiramisu was outstanding - hands down dish of the day and amazing that they could make this vegan dish so tasty. There was a lot of food - you definitely won't go hungry. This is nowhere near the standard of Yellow, but then again, nor is the price.

Insanely amazing experience, wow!! The food was exquisite, the people are SO nice, and it was just so cool how it’s set up - fixed price, fixed menu, everyone in the restaurant seated at the same time. Perfect for a birthday dinner or special occasion. But also.. the meal was one of the best we’ve had in years. We will be bringing every family member here, one by one. Can’t wait to come back!

Been here twice with my partner. Most things are vegan. The cafe is so nice, high quality and delicious matcha with cinnamon, friendly staff, homemade hash browns are so nice. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a vegetarian Cafe There are many fermenting jars around the wall. They add fermented vege in dishes. You can also buy some to take home. I had hush brown with green goddess and sourdough toastie. Green Goddess is their home made herb, lemon & mayonnaise dip. I found smoked cheddar, tomato & pickled celery in the crispy black sesame sourdough toast. Different varieties of coffees on offer, if you asked, the barrister will be happy to recommend a suitable choice for you. I’m not a coffee drinker, but will try one here next time:)

The food is just too good! Possibly the best veg food I had in Sydney. Even the coffee is good. Will definitely visit again.

Have been here 3 times in 2 months even though I live far away just because i wanted to bring everyone i knew to try it too. They have delivered every single time! All the food I had was amazing, they had lots of vegan options and i would highly recommend! The only critisism i have is their juice's weren't worth the money imo. But absolutely everything else has been incredible.

I had a soy cap and my friend had an ice latte. The soy flavour was kind of strong so it affected the taste of the coffee. But they were friendly and the atmosphere was quite hip. I want to have a brunch here later.

Top notch eatery right here! Didn't even miss the proteins, a yummy menu across all 4 dishes we tried and the drinks were fantastic, high quality and delicious matcha and chai. Top it off with some baked treats for the ride home and you have a very happy little Vegemite 😊 😀

I cannot get over how darn good the food & coffee is at this gem of a cafe in Marrickville! Blessed by a friend who told me to check it out, been there twice in three days! Have tired a few of the bites, meals & the most delicious cheesecake! Coffee is superb too. Lovely service, super chilled atmosphere, cool tunes & doggo friendly. Can’t wait to go back already! Cheers Chaps & Ladies 🫶🏽

Delicious vegetarian cafe. Ordered the potato skins, hasbrowns and rueben sandwich. Both very generous portions which I love. Chocolate shake was good too. You have to get the potato skins- they're very good 👍

Talking about coffee first because that is very important, it is a 10/10!! Their citrus coffee is a must try! Highly recommend. Being a vegetarian, I love that they have so many veggo food options. I tried the black bean and celery burger and it was delicious! Infact everything we ordered was fantastic especially the potato skins Crips that come with the burger!

This cafe has been on my radar for some time now, and although I live close by today was my first visit, which left me with a feeling of regret for not coming any sooner. Warehouse trasformed to trendy cafe tucked away in the industrial area of marrickville, the atmosphere is laid back casual and inviting! The pastries and pizzas on display immediately entice your senses into ordering as soon as possible!!! Their seasonal menu has a perfect variety of dishes, all which have a unique twist. Two dishes were ordered: Vegan - Spiced pumpkin Brioche burger with crispy potatoe skin & Vegetarian- Pasture-raised eggs on sourdough with halloumi, mushrooms & grilled greens I was impressed with the delicious crispy potatoe skins, i loved the utilization of the whole potatoe, absolutely no wastage here! Both dishes were amazing, portion sizes were impressively big and happily filled my belly!!!! I'll be back here again sometime time this week as i cannot wait to try their other dishes such as their homemade hash browns and their modern spin on congee!!!! Staff had a slightly disinterested disposition but non the less helpful.

Two chaps July menu was unbelievable! My partner and I came for the Friday night serve. The staff are helpful, easy going, and offer great service. Dining by candlelight to cheerful music in their cosy space is magnificent. Not overcrowded or busy, just enough people! The portions are generous (maybe too generous for the price point!) and every dish was a spectacular array of flavours. The chefs have out done themselves, and it was a pleasure to dine at Two Chaps. Cant wait for the opportunity to return :)

A good vego option cafe for marrickville. Though didn’t expect it can be so filling for the dishes. Probably a lot of veg and oil used with strong flavour. Overall quite a good variety of selection.

Found this place due to the high reviews, quite disappointing frankly. Got the brown rice bowl with eggs and brussel sprout sandwich. The ricebowl was really bland, it just needs seasoning for flavour... even just salt. However, the brussel sprout on the other hand was very good. It was cooked perfectly and was very nice. The service was poor, there was an old lady waitress with curly hair who had an attitude and seemed like she hates working there, perhaps bad day?

My dinner experience at Two Chaps was nothing short of exceptional, especially for those embracing a vegan palate. The array of vegan dishes presented a stunning display of creativity and flavor. From the appetisers to the main course, each dish was a testament to Two Chaps' dedication to crafting delicious, plant-based options. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere added to the overall dining pleasure, creating a space where you can savour every bite. Whether you're a committed vegan or simply looking to explore plant-based delights, Two Chaps stands out as a go-to spot in Marrickville for a delightful and satisfying dining experience.

This place is always busy and rightly so. Great little vegetarian cafe, with so many good options. We've been here several times and always enjoyed the meal. Great coffee too, with the cold brew being my favourite to have with my meal.

Delicious vegetarian cafe in Marrickville! Decided to risk the parking situation and head in to Marrickville after reading the positive reviews of Two Chaps and we were not disappointed. There was a waiting list but only waited 20min which was fine. Once we had ordered, the food arrived very quickly. We ordered the Beet Reuben sandwich to share with a side of crispy potato skins which was just delicious! Paired with a yummy cloudy apple juice and banana oat smoothie. We highly recommend all dishes we tried and cannot wait to come back and try some more items from the menu.

Had a fantastic time here last weekend for the 6pm evening meal sitting. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We both came away nice and full. $150 in total with a BYO bottle of wine - very reasonable indeed! Will definitely return.

I was looking for a quiet place to work💻 that had vegan options and I found this cool café. Really cool vibes! The vegan donuts and the coffee just amazing. Really recommended!

Food was stunning, beeeeauutifully prepared and very perfect pairings and interesting use of ingredients. A little on the salty side for 2 dishes, but balanced with sweeter ingredients in most cases. Staff were friendly and service was efficient - sounds like the menu is seasonal and rotates every few weeks, would definitely return. Really cute hidden spot for an intimate date night!

Went for a quick lunch with friends. Managed to get a table quickly. They've got a new summer menu with a good range of choices. I had the fried brown rice and it was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and varied. Coffee was great as well. There's also a good range of take home packs of nuts and coffee. Would definitely go back!

Been here twice. Most things are vegan / vegetarian. The sandwich and bread type of dishes were my favourite. Didn't like the fancier sounding dishes. Wait time was 1.5h the first and 20min the second. +10% for weekends (including takeaway pastry)

Sourdough crumpet if you like sourdough and autumn toast was savoury. Single O - Great coffee and service. 10/10

How could anyone say anything bad about this place? Prepare for a small wait on arrival - it’s popular. All the dishes appeared to be meat-free but what they offered was insane. We have the Fried Brown Rice Bowl and Smoked Cheddar Ciabatta - it had house made Kimchi and it was insane. The ambience is good - speaks Inner West for days.

Fancy a Monday-Mediterranean-influenced vegetarian menu to kickstart the week? You’ll find one of the best coffee nestled in this garage hidden in the backstreets of Marrickville! I have gotta admit that we had no idea this place was a vegetarian which usually isn’t our cup of tea. But to our surprise, this quickly was one of the best brunches we have had in Sydney! We had the Peppery Smoked Eggplant Burger and Fermented Cabbage Rosti. The eggplant was incredibly tender and flavourful and the side of the crispy potato skins was my nemesis. I had one bite and literally can’t stop 😂 The fermented cabbage rosti was unique and creative. It was a tad bitter at some point (probably a little burnt) but I still thoroughly enjoyed the dish. It was overall delightful. Good coffee, good food and their service was also polite and friendly! Also, almost everything on the menu is made from scratch! How good is that 😍

Simply amazing 👏 😍. Two chaps has the best food! A nice and cosy place tucked away, hidden between houses. Food options are great and very helpful staff. Definitely a repeatable visit. Can't wait for the next round.

Funky warehouse vegetarian cafe hidden in the backstreets of Marrickville. We had the smoked eggplant burger and brown rice bowl - both were very tasty and full of flavour. The service was polite and friendly. We will definitely be back to try the other meals! Highly recommended!

Great and tasty vegetarian food. During the weekend is a bit hard to get a table as they don’t take reservations but it’s definitely worth the wait. I recommend the fritters with poached eggs.

  • 5/5 Rob L. 2 years ago on Google
Food is awesome. BUT the sourdough that they make on premise that you can take home is the best. Hatted restaurant quality. MMMMMMMM

Great brunch place, but be prepared for a long wait on the weekends. We waited about 30 minutes on Sunday morning and chose to sit outside. There's both outdoor and indoor seating. The food is delicious and the honey chai was really nice. We got the hash browns and brown fried rice which were both fab. Just a tad pricey given the many options in the brunch hospo industry.

I like this cafe because it offers decent vegan options which to be honest is rare across most cafes that just serve eggs, pancakes or smashed avo / yoghurt as the alternative. Not rating higher as from a hygiene point of view they could make the effort to wipe down high chairs as food was left behind from another child, and in terms of transparency they could also list allergens on the menu for example the brown rice pancakes had crushed hazelnuts garnished on top but it is not mentioned on the menu.

We had no idea this place was a vegan/vegetarian cafe which normally isn't our cup of tea, we just stumbled upon it. We were pleasantly surprised; The Ruben and Hash brown dishes were both bursting with rich flavour. Only criticism is that we seemed to have been forgotten about for quite a while after being seated by the wait staff.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
