Cafe Coffee shop

👍 A nice little cafe which offers quality coffee and a good feed. The food is excellent with decent portion sizes and a good range of options. Definitely a place to check out and taste the local flavour of Marrickville. People often mention cafe, Great,

Great cafe away the hustle and bustle of the main centre of Marrickville. The service was friendly and the food was tasty.

Great date spot, simple vietnamese menu. We ordered a laksa!

Great little cafe. Opened in the late afternoon when most others were closed. Inherit its modern, desk and cute. Ample street parking available. Could easily fit groups of 8-12 people. We had a simple menu of pho and a few non-pho (salads, rice, skewers) to choose from. Premises appeared all nice and clean. Great food, just the right amount of hot, sour and sweet. Serving staff seemed very attentive and efficient. They also have a nice little selection of books to read. Would recommend.

Coffee was decent, but the guys running the shop seemed a little overwhelmed with the weekday lunch rush and there was a bit of a wait on food from the kitchen. The burger wasn't a hit - dripping in grease and dubiously seasoned. Baked goods reasonable but not outstanding.

Enjoyed a glorious pho here with some quality cheese tofu. The broth was lovely. Definitely would recommend the pho. Needa try that Laksa next time.

Fortunately, there must be new owners as some of the pics of the cafe and food from a year ago are quite ordinary. (As well as the reviews!) I was there May 12 and the cafe is cosy, the staff are friendly, and there's a great selection of Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese dishes for a fraction of what you should be paying for these tasty dishes.

Like many of the previous reviews this cafe has gone downhill. The main cook has left and its been dismal every since. I used to come here one a week for a long brunch but the last 3 times was so mediocre to not good, in fact I didnt feel well after my last visit & I haven't return in months. The food was nuanced, flavoursome and well conceived but now like many cafes just plonked together, no care and no taste. I know this is going to sound bad but there are too many cafes employing cooks who dont understand western cuisine. Its a real shame as their cakes are great and the food and staff had made this place

Great coffee, but also... Awesome. Tart. It was like every individual ingredient had been chosen to perfection. The tomato was super-tomatoey, the veg cooked to perfection, the casing *just* crumbly enough, but not too crumbly. I don't think I've ever had a tart that good before. Or quiche, if you prefer. My wife and I are still arguing over the distinction.
