Smart cafe outfit handy to Sydenham train station; breakfast choices were pretty good. Meat-eaters should go for the chorizo over the sausage, and the mushrooms were declared by both of us to be a winner. Coffee to go back for.

A casual place for both working class and family. Top recommend Veggie roll for Vegans and non-Vegans. Mushrooms were cooking in the right temperature, bring out all the juicy while kept their colour and flavor. Same as to the Kale. Source, salt, veggies were matched and blended very well. Best sandwich I ever had. Pan roast broccoli is another dish I had. Average.

A lovey place! Top atmosphere, really cool style and a great and friendly service. One of the best places in Sydney to enjoy a coffee and eat breakfast and brunch. :) will come again.

Just had a wonderful Eggs Benedict with bacon, and ordered a latte with lactose free milk. Always greeted with a smile and the service is prompt.

Ok coffee. Then a half an hour wait until the food came out.... Seems this place prioritizes Uber eats over people who come here. ( It was quiet here as well) When asked about the wait ' oh it won't be long ' with no apology or explanation. Mediocre at best.

The coffee was outstanding, and the food, though straightforward, was excellent as well. Sourdough was fantastic. Food tho whilst flavorful, might benefit from additional elements or a larger portion to satisfy bigger appetites.

I’ve been coming to The Tinhorn a handful of times over the past several months. Good price/quality ratio and cosy, it has a few things that resonated positively with me. Coffee temperature: perfect. You get it and you can sip it straight away, no burning mouth danger! Staff is consistently the same: in a volatile and sometimes stressful industry as hospitality, having staff staying is a signal that the workplace is good. They’re fast. As in fast. And they smile, genuinely. If you get off at Sydenham station and you’re looking for a coffee, give these guys a go. You won’t be disappointed. Pictures? I was too keen to drink my cappuccino 🤣

Food is great, so is the coffee. And they’ll actually mix the sugar into your coffee. I cannot stress how important that little detail is. Worth a visit next time you find yourself in Sydenham.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tinhorn Cafe in Sydney, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This small cafe boasts an impressive array of desserts and coffee options, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying breakfast or a quick pick-me-up. For my meal, I decided to try the Tinhorn Breakfast, a classic breakfast dish that included hashbrowns, sourdough toast, eggs, sausage, and bacon. To add some freshness to the plate, it came with a side salad of mushroom, kale, and tomato. The Tinhorn Breakfast was a true winner in my book. The eggs were perfectly cooked, with a lovely runny yolk that added a rich, creamy texture to each bite. The sausage and bacon were crispy and flavorful, providing a delightful contrast to the soft eggs. The hashbrowns were golden and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a testament to the kitchen's skill. The salad was a fresh and healthy touch that balanced out the heartier elements of the dish. Next up was the Tinhorn Chicken Burger, which was a juicy and flavorful delight. The chicken patty was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, nestled within a soft, fresh bun. The burger came with a side of chips that were crispy and satisfying. It was clear that the chef paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the flavors and textures were spot on. To complement my meal, I ordered a cappuccino and a mocha, and both were exceptional. The coffee was rich, aromatic, and served at the perfect temperature. It was evident that the cafe takes pride in their coffee offerings, and it showed in the quality of these beverages. The ambiance of Tinhorn Cafe is cozy and inviting, with a clean and well-maintained interior. The staff members were attentive and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. The location of the cafe near the station is convenient, making it a great choice for a quick bite or a leisurely meal before or after a commute. In summary, my visit to Tinhorn Cafe was a delightful culinary experience. The food was outstanding, the coffee was top-notch, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service exceeded my expectations. If you're in the Sydnam area and looking for a great cafe with a diverse menu that includes breakfast options, desserts, and coffee, Tinhorn Cafe is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it for a positive and satisfying dining experience.

Fast service! 👏🏻The place was packed on Sunday morning and they seemed to have a few delivery orders as well, but still they managed to serve pretty quickly. Congrats on that! Good food and excellent atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Ordered a burger. Patty was really small. After my complain they fixed it. But they used the same but that got dry and the chips cold. Overall was not worthy. I would not get back.

Nice staff and coffee ok but the scrambled eggs on toast that I ordered was basically inedible. Eggs had horrid texture and taste, like made with powdered eggs but something went wrong. Sourdough toast had way too much butter.

Great food, great service... don't drink coffee so can't speak for that but they're always so popular so that's a great sign 👌 Close to Sydenham station and have their own train running boards installed which is handy.

Long long wait for delivery. Wait for 20 mins, and the waitress keep saying 10 mins and another 10 mins. And he said not in nice way. Not really recomended for delivery

Went here for father's day breakfast with the kids. Fairly cheap for the area, nice coffee. Pleasant staff. Will go again. Only issue is parking.

5 star for Great customer service. Guy with the glasses on the till is amazing, he is everywhere running here and there. Mind blowing energy. Coffee is also good. I was little disappointed with the bacon egg roll. It was average.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
