It's so good to hear live music delivered with passion. The Pigs were awesome, as always, venue awesome. Truly a talented group and a fun night out. Good food, drinks reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I have driven past this venue so many times not realising there was a cabaret bar here the whole time. As soon as you get inside you get a feeling that this place has hosted some great music over the years. If you have a phobia of camels you should prepare yourself in advance, there are hundreds of them everywhere. The bar holds around 100 people so if you are at the back of the bar you still have a great view of the artist performing. The speakers sounded amazing also. They have a great selection of beer, wine & cocktails. The pizza’s were okay, for $15 you can’t complain, they came quickly also.

Great venue! Not much space to walk to the bar but appreciate the amount of table seating. You can't have it both ways! The chorizo on the Chaka Carnivore platter was unreal! Now I'm addicted to chorizo!

Watched The Gadfly's recently at the Camelot Lounge. Such an awesome place to sit and enjoy both live acts while eating some of the wonderful on offer warning: rather than watching the live acts, your eyes may stray to one of hundreds of Camels dotted around the interior (hence the name). The eclectic decor, great service, great food and (hopefully) good music amounts to a sensory overload. But that's a good thing.

While the Camelot lounge is up a fearsome fight of stairs, do remember to call ahead to access the elevator to this quirky old-world music hall experience. The food offerings are simple and tasty, drinks are fairly priced and the quality of the sound excellent. We always enjoy our evenings there, this time front row seats with the Heavenly Light Quartet.

Very unique venue. Sound was spot on. Not too loud. Easy getting there on train. Comfortable and not a bad seat in the house. Food was good as well. We had pizza and veg plate.

A great venue. Eclectic, vibey and man, do they love their music there. Gigged with Kevin Borich Express and the place went OFF like a frog in a sock. Played again this weekend....even better.

Our first visit here. Great night at Django Bar tonight to see the Kites playing Steely Dan - absolutely fantastic. Looked like full house with everyone finding a seat. We had a pizza and a Chaka Carnivore grazing plate - both very good and enough for two. Efficient service. Excellent venue for getting up close to the musicians. Bravo to all!

I seen karise eden here on the 13th of May 2023. The outside area of the venue seemed a bit sketchy, but the internal venue was cosy and really lovely. We were on the first floor, and apparently there was a 2nd level with another artist playing the same night. The venue hosts a wide range of acts, soul funk, mowtown, rock and tributes to artists such a George Michael to name just a few genres. The food was nice and reasonably priced and the bonus of meeting the artist and getting signed copies of CD's was great. The ticket prices were reasonable as well. Overall it was a great night of entertainment which was affordable and enjoyable.

A great little venue with a good bar and tasty share plates. Quirky and intimate. Very close to Sydenham station. We were there for The Pigs and had a ball.

First time I've come here and there's a lot to like about the place. It's not a flash venue but the vibe is very friendly and great to have places still offering live music several nights a week. Would definitely return.

This place is a grungy bar with such a brilliant atmosphere! Food is really good. Just need to provide a dance area as we all dance around the bar. Love it!!

5 stars for atmosphere and music and concept. Here's to small and cosy live music venues serving Sydney! 5 stars for staff being friendly helpful and approachable. 3 stars for decor (that opp shop reclaimed/vintage vibe) does the job.... 3 stars for drinks. They cover the basics. 1 star for the effort /creativity put into food. ( grilling some kind of cheese on pita bread served on a paper plate and actually charging for it as if were pizza is 'next level' squat dive cuisine even for the inner west ). By that I mean it isn't at all appetising. And the charcuterie board is modest. How about buying some frozen Dr Oetker Pizzas, and serving them on plates? Make some Gnocchi and add pesto and sprinkle cheese in it? There are lots of easy options without needing a whole commercial kitchen setup.

Mostly they do tribute shows here, but I saw Lloyd Spiegel, the sound was great, the show was great and there was, as always, a high concentration of that middle aged Inner West male staple - the long sleeved patterned shirt.

The multilevel spaces houses 2 main areas for live entertainment and the top one has lots of camels. Geddit? Food is tasty but limited and the bar and cocktail list is solid. Come for the music though. Quirky, different and welcoming always.

Cracking venue! Quirky and full of atmosphere! Great food and quick efficient bar service. What a great place for live music 🎶. Had the privilege of seeing the great man, Kevin Borich on the 10th. What an amazing guitarist he is! Every song played with immense passion and guitar mastery. Absolutely brilliant.

I can't believe I've lived in Sydney for 25 years ... and not been to this amazing venue! The 10 piece Motown act last night was just incredible. How the owner manages to operate that venue on a $50 cover charge is a mystery 🙂 I'll definitely be going back for other shows. So should you!

Great atmosphere. There is always a good mix of people from a broad range of different age groups, culturally diverse and genuinelly passionate about good music. There is always sonething interesting happening there. You can grab a bite to eat, and the drinks are quite reasonable. Lots of fun!

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
