So let's begin, me and the family went out to dinner at the Ritz in Marrickville.. as we walked in I was impressed👍 it was a laid back environment very chilled and funky at the same time😎, the service was great very friendly🤗.. we ordered 2x john dee Angus sirloin steak and 1x Panko crumbed chicken schnitzel parmigiana, I thought the food was really decent packed with flavour🤙🤙, I think the prices were a little high🤔 but overall the experience was interesting😊 the question that I ask my self would I come back the answer is yes👍, go and give it a try with family / friends 👍😊

Sad to see this venue change tact and choose pokies over everything else. Before you could have a lovely meal in a spacious area out the front and people watch. Recently went there to celebrate a birthday and noticed they have since enclosed the entire front section and turned it into a gambling den devoid of any pleasantries. It's really quite confronting and we felt hemmed in.

I’d never eat here again! We ordered Fish and Chips and we got two thin pieces of Fish with over cooked fries and Salad which had the blandest dressing on it. The same came with the Chicken Parmigiana it was ok but what they call Mushroom “Gravy” was grey liquid with little bits of something in it. Not up to a Chef’s standard at all. A total waste of money with over priced Tooheys in a Bottle. We walked out REALLY regretting our choice of Pub in Marrickville knowing you get much better in the area.

Had the chicken tacos. Very simple but SO good! Will definitely be coming back

Good place for a quick burger or big groups. The cocktails were pretty surprising. Generous dimensions, economic and really tasty. Do not miss their Bloody Mary!

Parma night Tuesday is a reasonable feed if you like a cheap chook cut and a plate of shoe string fries

Great food. Nice place with a live band which was great. But shame there was no vibe in there and barely any people for 9pm on a saturday night

Food from here is suprisingly good. Got the BBQ wings with a side of Death Sauce, the sauce is amazing, chicken is juicy and the blue cheese sauce is pretty good too. The death sauce is extremely hot. Good for a challenge, eating it and also challenging on the toilet the day after.

Cheap beers on happy hour and nice staff was the only positives I could get from my visit. Real shame that the front balcony was converted to pokies and smoking area. The pub smells like an air conditioned servo that has been smoked in and there is no street ambiance in the pub anymore. I won't return while the pub remains in this configuration.

Burgers are delicious, chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially the chef! I would have loved to take a photo of the burger but I demolished it.

Decent joint with a few beer choices. Lots of passing traffic if you sit at the front window which can be entertaining or annoying. They have a venue section for hire and plenty of room for seating. Worth checking out if you're in the area

Marrickville Ritz Hotel is located at the bottom end of Illawarra road about 50meters back from Marrickville Road. A great venue for a Beer with a main bar sitting back in the hotel behind the Gaming area situated at the front of the building. Modern and Clean fit out. Friendly staff. Gaming area is split into two areas as you enter the Hotel. Entrance to the left and right upon entering. Payouts and wins on machine 2.5 stars outta 5. Open until 4am most days Bistro has a variety of menu items from Burgers to Steaks and more. Thumbs up on the Burgers and chips. Good proportions. Bar has a variety of Beers, Local and International. Same with spirits and wine on offered. Definitely recommend the Bistro for lunch and dinner.

Great place for lunch with friends, quiet enough to talk and catch up. Good and drinks plentiful.

Very well run establishment . excellent friendly outgoing staff & service. Seems to be well-maintained, beer is fresh without an aftertaste as you get in some places in Marrickville . I have not tried the food yet?

Love the pool tables and fun to play off as no damage to tue tables showin well looked after by the friendly staff. Two VIP lounge areas to choose from are a nice difference. Little sad not to have a kitchen on hand and had to order uber eats delivery

Free pool was good, but the only place I could have a fag with my beer was in the pokies not entirely optimal to say the least, thanks for the free peanuts tho.
