One of my favourite breweries around. Honestly the tastiest beers! Give 'em all a go, it'd be rude not to! The decor and atmosphere is great here, staff are friendly and the music + vibe is always on point. They generally have a food truck pulled inside which is ultra convenient when sinking a few brews. There's also a pool table, but make sure you bring some coins as they don't give change at the bar, so a bit disappointing there...

One of the best breweries around the area, we visited for the 100th time on Sunday. It can get packed but there's plenty of seating available, and the bar is always very quickly. All their core beers are always on point, strongly recommend their pale ale and the oatmeal stout, and if you're lucky enough, they might still have the very hoppy celebration IPA on tap. They usually have food on venue, which tends to be better than the average brewery, this time they had pizza.

It is located in a warehouse, the entrance to which is on the side not facing the road. Easy to miss, but there is a car park which can help spot it. Plenty of seating inside. The staff are friendly, and there is good variety of things. There is also a pop-up pizza restaurant with some really good pizzas inside.

Great little brewery. My partner loves grifters so being able to access all drinks in the range is a treat for him. I enjoy the Pink Gallah! Surprised they haven’t upsized the place as it is always packed

Such a fantastic time, the venue has such a good vibe. I definitely recommend the pizzas from pizza bros they were incredible!!! My favourite was the joey pepperoni but if you love spicy, water world was delicious! Definitely recommend especially for big groups.

Dropped in for a quick beer and pizza (thanks to the pizza bros- Joey Pepperoni absolutely sublime pizzas) . The venue through was great and the beers equally great have something for everyone - however the standout for the night was the staff - in particularly Max and also Brad (the manager). Max was welcoming , funny , cheeky and a pleasure and a huge asset to the business / I asked Brad whether he was the owner - he may well be one day. Great place to hit up and if u do make Sure u make Max’s acquaintance

Nice ambience, great for chillin with your friends. Beers are great. We tried the pizza, not bad, but a bit pricey for that little topping. They only sell them on wednesday & thursday only. But yeah we tried them coz we're curious. Wait time is a bit long since they only got 2 ovens on.

Beautiful open brewery with a ton of unique beers on tap. Friendly service and nice relaxed vibe, the perfect spot for a casual hang with some mates or to include on your brewery crawl. Was keen for the al pastor tacos but had just eaten 1/2 a chicken at the pub next door so missed out on that. 🌮 I drank the Pilsner which was super refreshing on a stinking hot day 👌🏻

Great beer, but unfortunately really poor customer service. I was getting together a pack to give to my partner with different beers from different breweries in Marrickville. Everywhere I went the staff members were super friendly and gave some advice on which beer to get. Unfortunately, the girl who served me at Grifter was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful, she was more concerned in going back to chat with her mates. I know this time of the year can be extremely stressful for hospitality workers, but politeness goes both ways. Again, such a shame because the beers are extremely good, but I would rather to buy it from a bottle shop than dealing with this type of customer service

Super friendly, knowledgeable and patient staff to explain beers to suit individual palettes. Good beers (I liked the sunshine XPA) however the tacos are pretty average (ingredients not high quality). Overall good vibes. Bonus for being dog friendly throughout whole venue.

Awesome local innerwest brewery. With plenty of room and plenty of dogs usually. Their core range is delicious, the pink galah being my favourite. They’re trying to release a new brew every two weeks so I guess I’ll have to continue coming back more regularly. Yay 😀

Spacious laid back atmosphere brewery that is dog friendly. Tried two light beers (seems to serve 12 kinds of beers) and Rico's Tacos. They were good. Will have to try their tasting tray (4 kinds of beer for $15) on my next visit!

“A grifter might be a pickpocket, a crooked gambler, scammer, or a confidence man.” Then consider me fooled … as on today’s mini-brewery crawl thru Marrickville the best beer of the day was had right here at Grifter - The Peach Melba Sour. A hint of sweetness, a hint our sourness, unmistakably beer and altogether refreshing! This dog friendly brewery has its entrance via the garage doors, and opens up into an expansive seating and bar area, warm with mirth and strong on ambience. Getin and get on the grift!

This place was the third brewery we took my elderly parents to. It was the only place that the barman took the time to explain the beers and they appreciated it so much. Great atmosphere and vibes. Will recommend:)

Dog friendly craft brewery. Great range of beer including the Omen which is one of the best stouts available. Friendly atmosphere always good gender mix in here. Cool spot on a hot day, regular food trucks or enjoy a game of pool. Upbeat staff and some great merch on offer.

Don’t bother coming here as management are rude and staff are unfriendly , it goes to show that poor leadership leads to unfriendly and toxic environment. I feel bad for the pizza bros , who are serving pizza in this environment as they are the opposite they are quite friendly and approachable. I sat down on my table waiting for 2 other people to come ordered drinks and pizza for them and the security guard wouldn’t let them in as they were at maximum capacity. I asked Milly the manager at the time if I can have my friends join me, but she said no they just have to wait. I asked her what the conditions of entry is and what the policy was and we’re it was advertised and she brushed me off and wouldn’t clarify or show me a copy of the policy she is talking about. She did not offer me a full refund because of her so called policy and asked me to leave the venue, so inhumane ( she thinks she is above the law) , I hope that Boone has to deal with this kind of person ever, absolutely disgusting behaviour as a so called manager. I asked Milly where are those policies and conditions of entry were placed at the front of the building and she couldn’t answer because they were not visible to the public. So it’s up to their discretion who they let it. They pick and choose. The security guard does not follow a system as when at capacity as they say and no one is walking out , they let in 10 people at a time , but can’t let it 1 person to enjoy a meal. Poor management that’s all I can say. If you don’t have a table booking system in place , then maybe think about one to avoid all this trouble and have a queue for reservations especially if you are offering food in your brewery or clearly state what your conditions of entry is so people do not waste their time and money at your venue. That’s all…

Grifter is without doubt the best brewery to visit in Sydney. Not only are the beers epic, but the venue is a huge warehouse with pop up food truck/s, a pool table, great vibe AND it's dog friendly! Pics here are from an awesome pop up vegan burger van. Try a variety of beers on your visit - my personal fave is the Watermelon (Serpents Kiss). And definitely get a case to takeaway, as you can mix and match six packs to enjoy a variety. Absolutely worth a pop in day or night, for any occasion.

Decent brewery with half decent beer.🍺🍻 Don't expect to get a feed here. There was a taco 🌮 food truck, but the taco on the menu sounded so unappealing. Furthermore, there was a line up for the blokes toilet.

On holiday from Brisbane and brewery hopping. Walked into The Grifter and met Angus at the bar, and he was phenomenal at the service, banter and passion for the product. After being to 5 other breweries in Sydney, this was THE BEST at service, thanks to Angus. Cheers mate!

A surreal experience drinking straight in the brewery / warehouse. The place was very busy, noisy and the restrooms could have been a bit more 21st century. That being said, The Grifter Brewing Co. is in my opinion hand in hand with 4 pines co-leader when it comes to high quality craft beers in Sydney.

I have enjoyed Grifter's pale ale for years, but finally went to Grifter brewery to try their other beers. The staff and other customers were all very nice. I really like this place. It is so genuine. Will definitely be back. By the way, they have a small carpark that is free.

Great brews, now conveniently delivered to my door. Every beer I've tried of theirs, I'd be more than happy to have again. Plus the squealer fits really nicely in this stein so I can keep telling the doc I only have one glass or bottle of beer a day. Definitely get the Serpent Kiss and Big Sur as the weather gets warmer!

Grifter brewing is a great Brewery to visit, taste all the beers they have to offer, have a game of pool and eat some delicious pizza cooked right in front of you. Such a great selection of brews, any flavour you could possibly desire. My suggestion is a tasting tray or two, then a few more schooners of your favourites.
