Nice atmosphere for a group gathering, but a letdown for me. Sat down with 2 friends & took a while to be served, only to be given 1 menu among 3 of us. Menu had a decent amount of selections, but everything ordered was just average at best. The chicken & rice with the nuts was seriously lacking flavour, & just not enjoyable at all for me personally, so I did not get takeaway (rare for me). The dips were very meh, nothing special. Labneh was quite thick & wasn’t very heavy on flavour, more so just tasted like 90% cream. Staff were slow, on a slow night, which doesn’t say the best, but they weren’t rude. Not a place I would personally return, but maybe somewhere to try if you’re curious on the food, as I’ve seen others have enjoyed it.

Food was great. But the owner need to relax. Stop thinking that his customers are ripping him off and going over there like there’s something going on. Let your customers enjoy their dinner and their experience. Went to pay our bill and the owner came over like there was something going on doesn’t make you feel very comfortable. Very different atmosphere for what we used to in Newtown.

The food was delicious and I would not fault it at all. However the service is what let this score down. Service (we had multiple staff) was definitely lacking throughout our whole dinner (when the restaurant was not even a quarter full) which I was advised later at the end of the dinner was due to a lot of new staff. Staff (who weren't young but much older) should still know basic service principles though and so this draws the conclusion that there is something else amiss here (lack of leadership or training). However am willing to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and put it down to a bad night (by multiple people mind you), and so will be back to try again in the future (given the food is yummy).

Went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner and the food was amazing. The staff were very attentive and polite. We had a table of 15 very hungry people and the food arrived quickly which was great. We ordered the banquet and everyone was so full by the end of it.

Visited recently on a Saturday night. The place is adorned with a whole lot of travertine to bring back old school lebanese restaurant vibes, which I actually didn't mind. In terms of food, I felt as though it was a bit of a mixed bag, but mostly positive. The food came quick, it was hot and was definitely fresh 👌 The lamb skewers were the standout, also the walnut chilli dip and the fattoush were outstanding. Same can be said for the kanefeh 🔥 The rest was good, but not memorable. Prices were a little steep, but in line with what I would expect being in newtown. A note to management that the music was quite loud throughout the night, to the extent that you could barely hear others speaking to you from across the table. Saying that, I would eat here again if I was in the area and looking for a decent lebanese food feed. 7/10

Extremely disappointing service from the establishment. The owner of this business had brought things to our table repetitively and charged us for them although they were not ordered. I believe that a business should try and satisfy customers to gain repeat business and loyal customers. However it seems as though the owner is interested in ripping off first time customers, expecting that word will not get around. Food was genuinely merely average and did not satisfy for the price whatsoever. Will definitely not be returning.

Loved it! Every single thing that we tried was full of flavour and very well presented. It was our first time dining here but most certainly won’t be the last.

I visited recently with a large group of friends for the Arabella banquet menu. We were incredibly impressed with the delicious and generous spread of food the chefs at Arabella so kindly provided us with and found the price to be exceptional for value. The dips (especially hummus!) and grilled meat skewers were to die for and we left as very happy customers. Will definitely return, thank you so much Arabella for taking such good care of us!

Went here with a group of friends. I found the staff were attentive, polite and happy to be there. Regarding the food, the kibenayeh is a great option as an appetiser. I ordered the mixed plate and must say the dips and salad were much bigger than the meats. I understand it’s a mixed plate so naturally you expect a variety but it was bit cheeky to save costs I imagine. In fact, the dips took up about half of the plate so the mixed plate did not fill me up. Can’t vouch for other plates so it would be worth giving this place another visit to try other options.

First time here, first time, Lebanese, food, absolutely a must will come back. The service was top-notch. The food was fantastic, I got the mixed plate so I could try a little bit of everything. I only wish I had a bigger stomach.

Horrible service and ridiculously small portions. We were served by such an arrogant and rude waiter, who was slightly passive aggressive with his responses which we found really odd…anyways the food arrived in such small portions we were shocked…11 dollars for a small amount of chips, 36 dollars for mansaf which was literally suited for a 5 year old. 5 dollar credit card surcharge! Are you for real? Had we known this, we wouldn’t have gone in. Horrible and such a waste of money.

Way too overpriced, bad service & food was nothing great. Not worth it at all. We also got charged a huge “credit card surcharge” more than I’ve ever seen before! Wanting to know what percentage they charge for credit card surcharge? Also noticed when I left that $1 extra here and there was added to some items on my receipt. Not sure what for! Scamming behaviour & horrible service. My apologies, I noticed the receipt was correct. However, rest still stands true. Very horrible customer service, wayyy too overpriced, extremely excessive surcharges I’ve never seen elsewhere before, owner replies in a very rude manner to other people’s feedback. Humble yourself.

The food was great and service was excellent. However this should be at least $$$ if not more because the food is not cheap. It’s worth it though, and I do recommend it. We had the chicken skewers and vegan okra , both very good and served with hot bread. The portions are very generous. Just be aware that it’s a bit pricey.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was when the best sizzling knafeh dessert came they had created that day. We were delighted. My dining experience at Arabella was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made us feel very special. Thanks Arabella team !!

The ambiance and service was the best which was i really like it. this time food was really disappointed, i have ordered a lamb mansaf which was full of spices and strong flavour of cinnamon I didn’t like at all. Lamb Skewers was almost burnt. Still love you guys ❤️

Wonderfull service. My friends and i have claimed this as our favourite spot, all the staff and owners have always been amazing to us with amazing service and a smile always on their face. The food has never disappointed and always hits the spot. 10/10 would recommend

The food was amazing, really tasty. But the service really needs to be improved. We all ordered drinks at the same time but only some came out. We then had to ask for two of the drinks 4 times before they came out! One never came because it wasn't in stock, but they never told us until after dinner?! We had to ask for other food multiple times too, because it never came. I understand mistakes happen, but not sure why we should remind staff more than once. I should note that we were refunded the two drinks which was good .

Looks great, but you need to do better with your service. My friend and I came in for an early dinner, there were 2 other families already seated and eating. The man behind the counter looked at us as we walked in but remained on the phone. 11mins of us giving your restaurant the benefit of the doubt, we had enough and left!

Booking system (via whatsapp) was amazing, and very easy to use. However, when I showed up they asked me to go to Shishabella next door, then the kids rocked up and they told us to go back to Arabella as kids were not allowed there, Then they told us to sit outside (in the cold) and then i made a comment that it was weird we were told to go next door since I advised during the booking that we had kids. Staff member asked if i made a booking which i did and then he showed us to the correct table..inside Arabella. Service was quite lacking..hard to get anyones attention - not enough staff for busy restaurant. Food was average - not as tasty as I expected although the chicken was well cooked and not too dry. They advised bread was complimentary but never gave it to us and we had to ask for it..which took a while due to lack of staff. Food wasn't bad, it just wasn't exceptional or full flavoured.

Dropped in late last night for a meal after a night out. Arabellas was buzzing and busy, the food was absolutely amazing, we had the share Arabellas banquet. So much delicious food, plate after plate delivered to our table by really polite well trained staff. So enjoyed our dinning experience and the food is exceptional. We will return.

Last night it was my birthday dinner we booked the private room and what can I say the best experience ever from the food being the yummiest and the service 10 out of 10, the stuff are beyond friendly & they make sure everything is up to your standard best lebanese restaurant . Thank you for all the stuff and Manger’s definitely my only lebanese to go to

Held my engagement here. The owner, the staff, the food, the vibe- everything was AMAZING . could not have asked for a better and more classy experience. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. The portions were very generous and the drinks were amazing. Highly recommend holding an event here!!!!

We Celebrated my sons birthday with family over the best tasting Lebanese cuisine in oz, the service was awesome the owner & staff always around to cater the table not leaving anything go unnoticed.the atmosphere was fun family , value for money. Highly recommend.

No.1 middle eastern shop in Sydney that I have been too! The eye fillet I had was incredible, I also tried the honey cake and it was 10/10 too. Not to mention all staff are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is popping. Highly highly recommend this place⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arabella has been around for years, and experienced many evolutions. I can say that this current phase is the best yet. The food was amazing, and no one left hungry. The staff are accomodating and super friendly. This was the perfect monday night family dinner, we'll definitely be back.

Amazing food, drinks and shisha! We stayed a full 2 hours or so and the staff were very on point and regularly changed our coal and were attentive. Thank you for the experience!

I went to Arabella Lebanese Restaurant last night for my birthday with friends. The food was delicious, home made, healthy and bountiful. All the staff, especially Mohammad were attentive and friendly. I was delighted and surprised by a musical interlude which was just for my birthday. A very special experience. I’ll be going again.

Might genuinely be the best food I’ve ever eaten. We were told our food might take a little longer and we still received our mains within 10 minutes. Very friendly and polite staff. Great music and vibe. 10/10 would recommend for groups :).
