I signed up to a beer subscription box, was promptly charged but not given any information on when the beer will come. More than 5 weeks later and still no information. I have emailed their customer service several times, as well as messaged their facebook page. No response at all. Have now requested a refund and awaiting a response on that. Very poor customer service.

New owners, however this place is still a cracker. Owners are super friendly, place has plenty of wine, spirits and beer to keep you going. Still setting up, however looking forward to seeing how these guys take this venue and give it their own spin. Cheers.

While Bucket Boys themselves are good, their courier they use are not. The order was picked up from them on April 12 and delivered on April 20. I realise there was the Easter long weekend, but I live only a bit over 6km from the shop. No way delivery should take that long. From other shops their couriers have done same day service, one even within hours. If Bucket Boys had a better courier I'd order more.

Amazing selection of marked up beers, half of which you could probably just wander 5 mins down the road to buy direct from brewery considering its in marrickville. Staff give the vibe of reanimated corpses. Just go to the local bws and give f#ckit boys a healthy distance.

Awesome bottle shop with great selection of wine and beers. Really knowledgeable owner and friendly staff. Brought in some Vietnamese from next door for lunch and had some of the on tap wine, before buying up for Christmas. Will be back for sure!

These guys have a massive, massive, massive range, and they're all about the knowledge. They have excellent recommendations if you're stuck for ideas - which can easily happen: decision paralysis due to the sheer number of choices. Update: now under new ownership, but the same excellent range. Today, I bought 12 beers - 4 from Marrickville, 4 from other parts of Aus, 2 from NZ, 2 from the US. They have beers you won't find elsewhere.

Great customer care! After a minor issue with an online order, I received a response via email within an hour and the problem was fixed straight away! I will definitely be back and also recommend this company!

Bucket Boys is one of my favourite places to visit. It is an excellent , independent bottle shop/bar with an excellent range or craft beer, wines and spirits. What makes this place special is the staff. They really understand and place value in the local community, have an impressive range of product knowledge, and always have time to spend on talking me through what’s in their fridges or on their shelf. They always make me feel welcome and I always walk away with a special purchase: All the staff there are really great but in particular Chris and Liam. The place wouldn’t be the same without them. I hope they stay forever

This is the best bottle shop around Marrickville if you're looking for tasty brews. They have a massive variety of hard to find seasonal beers, some of them I've only seen in this place. Most of them are from all over Australia and some others from New Zealand. On top of that, their staff is super chill and willing to guide you through it. Their prices are very reasonable, and I'd say slightly cheaper than some of the big chains. They also have a rooftop area! Definitely one to check if you're a beer fan.

Excellent range of beers. Best specialty beer purveyor in Sydney. Decent selection of Australian and New Zealand wines with a focus on quality. Small selection of Australian spirits too, with amazing Tassie whiskey to Archie Rose gin.

Very good selection of craft beer! If you are in the area, go, take a look and grab a few cans and bottles. You won't be disappointed

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon with the gf - expected an ale house but turned out to be a sausage factory - male to female ration 20:1. This is not necessarily a bad thing - but be warned the beers are expensive, small serves and high in alcohol.

Super friendly and knowledgeable service, great range and a friendly place upstairs to hang out and try new craft beers.
