The Southern Cross is a awesome place the food and service is so amazing and the karaoke is legendary intense best night ever I would love to see karaoke weekly

The boys and I have been meeting up there for a few years now on a Thursday night maybe every couple of months. The service has always been good but the last few times the meals haven't, the chicken schnitzel was dry and chips were the left over ones and over cooked. The other times the steaks were no where near medium, more like under cooked and the chips looked liked they were cooked then cooked again.

We recently celebrated our son's baptism at Southern Cross - Terrace Room, and I cannot recommend this place enough. We opted to go with the BBQ menu and everyone said they loved the food and the place (we were blessed with a sunny day). They also catered for dietary requirements. Staff was very friendly and Amelia (Events coordinator) was extremely efficient in her response and so helpful. Plenty of parking for our guests as well. Thanks again team

I went to the southern cross on Friday for the karaoke and had a wonderful time. The staff were wonderful, friendly and I can't wait to go back there again. And the karaoke show was the bomb. It was an amazing night.

The Southern Cross Hotel is in a great location on the main road, it has a fabulous new karaoke host on a Friday night, I wish it was weekly, I love spoiling myself at the end of the week with some great music and food and drinks The atmosphere is great and appears newly renovated, very comfortable seating.

Just a great corner pub in Sydney. The meals were excellent, and I will definitely return. The interior of the pub is renovated and very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back.

Had lunch here and really enjoyed the bistro. Spacious and relaxed vibe with a playroom for the kids making it super family friendly. I enjoyed my scotch steak, crispy chips and their pepper sauce is cracking. Will be back.

Stayed here as I was doing training close by... pub is nice quite but can get a lil busy... rooms were good, the food was good, the service and staff were great, friendly, and helpful. There's not much around the area if you have time to waste. Would stay again if I need to stay in the area...

This place has it all good food, cool beer and lots to do. Staff is very helpful and friendly 🙂. I found a gold mine was able to see Sunday, Monday, Thursday Night Football on the sports TV.

Room was clean, bathroom was nicer than I expected. Staff were friendly. We ate at the restaurant on site and food was good. Great location if you are seeing anything at Enmore Theatre. Toilet is a smidgen close to the wall but not too bad.

Convenient pub with solid steak . Steak cooked to specification. Lack of proper char probably caused by relying on sous vide. But you could do a lot worse. Drinks range was excellent.

This place is absolutely stunning, the only down fall I would give is the bathrooms are very small as in skin in the shower type small but other then that the room is lovely, great size t.v and cute view on the 2nd level balcony. The staff members where lovely and even though we arrived early they had our room ready with in less than an hour making it a priority. The location is abit confusing as the car park is around the back but your close to different stores, this place was absolute a vibe 😊

Nice pub in St Peters, Bit far from CBD.Not too far from Airport. Good food at reasonable prices. Accommodation is available but i did not stay.

Good family friendly place, spacious, and lots of seating. There were two different events being held that took up the upstairs bit and a small section near the bar, still a few tables fit the general public. There is a small playroom for the kids to muck around in. Kids eat free on the weekend. Food is decent, options are what you expect from a pub bistro. My burger bun was a little too charred but the rest of the food ordered was good. The salmon and chicken looked good, even the kids fish and chips and pasta . Would go again as a good casual place to catch up with friends.

This was the most wonderful find in St Peters. When you first enter the hotel you get a comfortable feeling. It has been renovated in such a tasteful manner which is clearly well looked after by staff. It has 4 different levels and a large carpark out the back. Gaming on the bottom level, sports bar, then bistro and an outside decking area in which you can hire for parties and functions. The staff were awesome, friendly, polite and very helpful. The kitchen was super impressive serving large meals, cooked exactly as ordered, more than accommodating in requests and fast service. Meals are brought to your table. Weekly specials on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and on Saturdays and Sundays, kids eat for free They have recently reopened the accommodation which appears to be very popular as I have had difficulty trying to book a room. Monthly they have trivia and karaoke which I'm so excited about and will be heading back there early to grab a booth with the girls. Definately one hotel to check out

Clean and spacious room, In the bathroom the water leaks from the shower and wets everything. We slept Thursday and Friday, Thursday everything was quiet, but on Friday there was a lot of noise, the music can be very loud

I could not fault this restaurant, the service & the food was immaculate. Our waitress Christine was super friendly and welcoming. We had the hot wings & the scotch fillet both 10/10

The vibe and food at this pub can fluctuate since it's upgrade. It was quiet for a Thursday night but 2 visits in a row the food was excellent.

Came here in a pinch, as we were starving and have driven past a few times. The interior was surprisingly large and recently updated. Large off street parking is a plus. The tacos and nachos were good. The burger was a bit overcooked and dry. Kids eat free on some days so there were quite a lot of families there.

Always drove past on the corner and finally had a look in. Quite spacious and nicely laid out in a retro classic style. They have plenty of TV screens showing Sports and can be quite noisy in places even when it's not full. The outdoor terrace looked great and so did the dining area. The main bar is good and the front room surprisingly well insulated from the busy traffic outside the door. Downstairs had the gaming room and bottle shop with convenient carpark at the door. Good bar with plenty of seating for a drink or gathering of friends.

Came here for a lunch event. The food was below average - the meat was dry & lacked flavour. The terrace room was nice and spacious however the long table arrangement was a tight space, so guests had difficulty getting in and out. The staff were not that friendly either.

Atmosphere is a bit average…. But it’s convenient to meet mates there to watch origin and a few other big sporting events. Main bar is ruined by a disgusting smokers ‘lounge’ that has a door that opens onto the main bar and fills the room with cigarette smoke every time the door opens.Also food is average! Shnitty is just passable, pizzas are below average….. wish I could be more positive but have left disappointed too many times….

Had a lovely evening over an amazing dinner and drinks with a friend here. The food was great and the staff was extremely friendly, especially the young waitress and Asian waiter were both wonderful! Well done guys!

Had so many meals here and they have all been faultless. The beers are reasonably priced and they have pints too!! Also.. they have parking if you’re there at the right time. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered two jugs of beer 6 schooners all different variety from the tap it tasted and smelt funny un drinkable told the girls behind the bar they said yes people have been complaining she went and told somebody. No apology no explanation food average at best

Just came for food and it was amazing👌 Steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly and everyone was super friendly. Staying at the Ibis and its a quick walk up the road, only 350 meters. definitely recommend 👍

I went there for a wedding reception last Saturday night. The food was average. Service was almost non existent and they just bought out the slices of wedding cake on a plate, no side plates for us or cutlery to eat it with, just small napkins🤣😅. I've never seen anything like it.

An awesome venue! The food is delicious, drink selections are great, staff are lovely (Antony is a gem 💎) Karaoke was on July 7, back again August 4, 8pm-12am. I had a wonderful time! Many lights, big space, awesome seating too.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience at all. Firstly the bar tender got all 4 drinks wrong, she was new so that’s not too much of a drama, but no worries or anything, the we order our food, 10 min later to be told the card didn’t work (when in fact it did, so we waited another 10 min for the food to go through and be made out like we didn’t pay I heard the manager say. So we pay in cash Again….only to go home and realise we had been charged through EFT in the first place…so we had to come back and get our cash refund in which the manager wasn’t the slightest bit apologetic about the matter) Food was average to say the least…. Very very average…. An unfortunate outing 🤔🙁

This bar is on a busy road but don't let that deter you. Once you enter the venue it's really good inside and they had a DJ and dancing happening out the back. Lots of fun.

We are flying to Perth in the morning, staying up the street in a cheapy little motel. Walked down to this local for a light meal. After perusing the menu we selected 3 entrees for the variety, to share and added a 4th plus a bottle of cab sauv. What a delicious meal! We had the calamari with pickled fennel, the magnificent chicken tacos, and fried pumpkin flowers on a bed of salad. The bottle of cab sauv washed it away so well we got a 4th entree, the waffle potato chips! Thanks to the chefs, great food, ta! We’ll be back! Dodgie!

Cannot speak highly enough of the venue and staff. Particularly Chelsea who was a great help in accommodating requests for my nephews 7th birthday party over the weekend. We had over 20 children attend the venue and everything was perfect. Food, drinks & staff were amazing. THANK YOU!

Great venue to watch sport and have a meal with family. Huge and family friendly. The courtyard area is lovely. Bistro is excellent.

Beautiful, spacious pub, always wonder why it's so quiet, but then you get the attitude of the staff - 4/5 for the pub, 1/5 for the staff attitude

The person working in the gaming room was really rude. Think her name was Jess, not sure if she was having a bad day or she's always like that but terrible customer service. Go to The Newmarket instead.
