Mackey Park is a very peaceful park close to the water, perfect for a run near the bay or for a picnic. Multiple playgrounds, also some soccer fields too. Multiple restrooms on site and well illuminated at night, as well as numerous garbage bins Council really takes care of this one, great for barbecues too

Very nice place for walking along the Cooks river and having a catch up with friends, located in Marrickville. It is lovely and peaceful indeed, and the best option for a picnic at this area. There are many golf courses near here, and you can enjoy watching soccer matches as well.

I frequently go for my run pass this park and the landscape is beautiful. Love how you're tunneling pass the shades of huge tall trees along your path and the seasonal changes brings new look along the pathway with its flora.

Well set up sports fields. Kids are all contained to a safe area, away from the water. Has a great park, for the smaller tots.

Such a wonderful collection of open outdoor spaces, for family time, sporty pursuits, dog walking or just chilling... A green oasis on the banks of the Cook River along the edge of the city & Airport environs...

Nice park on the river I used to play soft ball there when I played for Tempe High school, with the boys and teacher Ms Whalan. LABORA FORTITER. used to be able to hit the ball over to railway tracks.

Nice park for kids to play sport, or younger ones to play in a playground. The only thing that was a bit strange is we found a tooth on the footpath. Looked human but I'm no dentist.

A small but popular park in a picturesque setting. The photo I posted is from March 2005 (not Jul 2017 as Google is reporting).

Sprawling park and doggie friendly. However, there are no fences so if you are not super confident with your recall, then too risky. Also, the walk along the river, and this is true no matter where you join it, can likewise ne a bit stressful if you have a puppy or, if like me and my little Freddie, you take every available opportunity to take the leash off. There is a big toilet block- but its locked...

Level tree lined walking on banks of Cook's river. Plenty of shade. Only downside is the cyclists who seem to regard the pathway as their proving grounds.

Always great place to take the family dog, she loves it, technically on a leash, but at after midnight, its empty, a few people getting off at Tempe, that's it, good at midday as well,
