Enmore Park

Tourist attraction Park

😐 Nice big park and playground, however no toilet facilities other than one toilet attached to cafe that is always filthy and difficult to take your kids to. I only visit for the kids activities they host there once a week otherwise there are other parks with better toilet facilities around. People often mention park, kids, playground, area, pool, great, cafe, trees, Great, road,

Lovely local park with kids playground and off leash dog area. Cafe in the park offers great coffee or get takeaway beers from Grifter brewery across the road or vegan food from Petty Cash cafe. Public Bbq available and toilet during daylight hours. Plenty of shady trees to sit under or bring a ball to enjoy a kick about. Plenty of parking around.

This is my local park and it's a beauty. From the fun dog off leash area, the playground, the newly redone paths, the noisy Cicadas , feisty ibis, to the always busy picnic zones, this is a good park. You can access the public pool (and a toilet) and the Annette Kellerman cafe and also Petty Cash across the road. It's often full of people canoodling and friends having parties. It's a great spot for some painting, or a snooze. It also has really nice oak trees and loads of screeching parrots.

Nice place in the day. Scary at night with drunk and/or drug effected homeless people living in there, under trees.

This park is really nice. Small but well kept. Right next to a swimming pool. Ideal for dogs and picnics

Wonderful little park to people watch, or bird watch, it even to just admire all the dogs in the leash free area. Plenty of benches to sit and relax on, as well as a large indoor swimming pool that seems to get quite busy. Great place for the whole family, or just a solo afternoon hanging out and reading a book. Right across the street there is a great pub with wonderful food, if you get hungry!

Green and tidy park. Relatively flat with soft soil and dense grass so bare foot picnics are a pleasure. No bindis when I was there is mid October. Large fig trees provide perfect shade.

Was raining when i was there but there is more than enough space and tree cover for my dog to sneak in a good stretch between rain showers...

Enmore Park is a large, well-tended parkland area featuring a retro-style playground and the Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre with an adjacent cafe. The homeless tents right in the middle of the park are a bit of a deterrent.

I lived opposite the park (on 57 Llewellyn street (also had the house nextdoor) beautiful and lush, great location, perfect spot. Pool is perfect, too. We used to have picnics there all the time at supper time instead of having our meal at home, gorgeous surroundings.

So sorry i didn't take pictures. One of my absolute favourite inna city surrounded parks , it looks fantastic this summer. Every weekend the locals have picnic gatherings , ( weather depending) its Marrickvilles best kept secret. Even though it's on the main road. Take a Sunday lunch and portable speaker. With the kids and explore the internal layout of trees and shrubs, interconnected, beautiful grass , room to move, friendly people. Indoor pool next door, with cafe and my favourite shopping mall just minutes from the park. That has everything you need. Highly recommended.

Nice to sit down for a few instants and watch people, trees and birds. Don't be surprised if someone brings their cockatoo for a flyby.

  • 5/5 Ant0n G. 5 years ago on Google
Beautiful open space with kids friendly playground and deciduous trees. Lots of benches & some has table near the electric bbq. Sports Centre is nearby with pool & gym facilities. Two cafes available nearby, one in the sports centre and another one across the road, Petty Cash Cafe.

Iconic Enmore Park is located near the boundary of Enmore and Marrickville and for many years has supplied locals with a brilliant green area with plenty for the kids (and adults) to do. Within the park are a playground and large, flat, grassed areas and there are a few cafes nearby. The Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre is also placed inside the confines of the park.

  • 5/5 Louise S. 4 years ago on Google
Very well maintained park. Excellent facilities.Ideal to bike ride around, picnic at, go to swimming/gym. Usually parking available around all 4 sheets surrounding the park and if not, side street parking usually available. About 15-20 min walk from St Peter's train station too. Gorgeous large trees provide ample shade on hot sunny days. Recommend!

Bit too open and borders roads on every side. Needs more trees and plants in general for shade. Not very peaceful, people are generally walking through or walking their dog which doesn't feel very relaxed, more functional then a destination.

Enmore park is a great place to relax and read a book or to have a picnic with friends and family or even to take the dog for a run around the park. It is also a great place to bring a ball to kick around or to bring ball game to play. At Enmore Park you can all access the Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre which has a cafe called Kellerman Cafe which is a great place for lunch. The thing that would make the park better would be if the Inner West Council could add a dog park with in the park.

Beautiful park, playgrounds seating n bbqs. A couple of really nice local cafes on the adjoining streets. Also an aquatic centre and gym located in the park

  • 4/5 Eric G. 2 years ago on Google
Good park! Not far from much, yet feels like it is far from much! Expansive area, with a friendly Cafe to sit and look out over thr grasslands, rather the the land of traffic! You slso have Marrickville Metro down the road!

  • 5/5 Andrew J. 2 years ago on Google
A small but welcome oasis on the edge of a light-industrial and residential area. The rows of trees make the park appear bigger than it is, and it's obvious that the park is a magnet for the many families that use its facilities (including the play equipment, cafe and aquatic centre).

  • 4/5 Richard G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice well kept medium sized park with space for dogs. For off leash it could be a bit close to the road for some.

  • 5/5 Brendan M. 2 years ago on Google
Enmore Park is a local gathering place for picnics in its expensive grounds with cafes and local breweries nearby to top up supplies and even Marrickville Metro a short stroll away. It has a fantastic kids playground for all ages and is also home to the Annette Kellerman pool. There's an off leash dog friendly area in the north west corner that serves as meet up spot for well trained dogs of all sizes. There's a variety of sunny and shaded areas to pick from and great trees to climb. The park has evergreen and deciduous trees that mark the seasons.

I hope the homeless people who had taken residence in the park due to the housing crisis have found affordable and safe housing provided by our government after I notice their disappearance. I worry as a local that some of our most vulnerable in the community may have been mistreated while simply trying to survive.
