Since Early January 2021 For two weeks now I have been using the park to exercise and I have been to the Female/Male toilets which are out of any kind of soap this is a breech of health and safely for the community in the middle of Covid pandemic. Who Is responsible for copying with the health department's directions to wash our hand with soap? It seems that the council doesn't comply its government's guidelines. It is obvious that council does not think there is a need for a soap and there is no need to worry about infection spread in the community PATHETIC lazy Councilors its now 9 Feb and the toilets ore still out of soap filthy dirty with no toilet paper.i would urge Marrickville council to treat its the RATE Payers with respect and use our money for our Facilities I will keep u posted.

Beautiful park at Marrickvile, by the Cook's River. Attached to a field for Rugby and AFL, it has been redesigned and upgraded by Marrickville council. It had a wall that was used for practising tennis and was a legal wall for our amazing graffiti artists. It now boasts, not one, but three new walls where it's legal to do and show off your art! It also has new BBQ facilities under shade and a skate park. Living the new facilities, especially the walls. There should be more walls for our street artists! Enjoy and respect this park, where it is also now a park where you can take your dog off leash, during certain hours, as long as there are no Sports on.

Goo for chill, must of the time not that busy.

It's a nice place to spend your afternoons. You can come here with your friends and family or by yourself.. you will have a nice time..

Lovely little area, great for picnics, with trees circling the play field. It's is a pity I only saw one BBQ area. Off-leash area for all your friendly doggos. I went with a few friends for my first catch up since lockdown lifted to do some shibari (Japanese performance art). Perfect weather: lovely breeze on the day, not hot, not cold. Another date has already been set and I'm looking forward to it!

There is lots of trees and a nice big field for kicking the ball around. There is lots of unleashed dogs running around too hence may not be suitable for young kids that is afraid of big dogs.

HJ Mahoney Memorial Park is a little oasis in Martickville. I have fun with my mates and the surroundings engage all my senses. - Mina

Mahoney is one of the few year-round AFL grounds. It's surrounded by shady trees; some of the closest to the river are great for an 11 year old to climb. There's also a basketball court at one end.

Nice park, plenty of space for dogs but not off leash, its next to a kids park and a pretty busy road so not suitable for off leash even though it is permitted

Great dog park, not too busy and even when it gets busier it's so large it doesn't feel crowded! Sports on weekends and after 7pm weekdays depending on the season.

Great local footy ground. AFL NSW need to invest a little money in this to make the club rooms a little nicer and a roof to provide shade would be nice.

Fairly decent size park with plenty of things to do. There's a skate park, picnic tables, basketball/ netball courts, football field and toilets.

Great off leash doggie park, dogs can run around the whole oval which is fantastic. Also has a nice view of the river.

Thanks to the people in charge. Great job it's been done... But we need more BBQ 's.

Balmain AFL club play most home games here while the new ground at Rozelle Parklands is being built in time for the 2024 season.

Beautiful park. Nice for a picnic or just sit and relax with a picnic blanket. Plenty if space for kids to play a sport and for dogs to run around. Basketball courts and skate Park too. The river is also nice

Nice little covered table and picnic area near the skating park. Less busy than Steel Park, but still offers lots of fun for kids.
