Little Tasker Park is situated on the Northern side of the railway line, separate from Tasker Park proper. It contains a BMX track which was built and maintained by some local community members, but has fallen into some disrepair since the council started keeping the gates permanently locked about two years ago. It's still easy to climb the gate, but a little more difficult to lift bikes over, especially for kids. As it's very quiet, it's a lovely off-leash area for dogs, and there's a picnic table down by the river. Loss of stars due to locked gates and the tendency for council trucks to use it as a car park on occasion.

A really magnificent looking park! I loved it since it's fresh grass and there's good shade, also public bathrooms. The bridges only add to it, but gives good access to Canterbury station and food and places to walk around. Negatives: - the bathrooms don't look that great - lots of seagals - trains go over the bridge (noise) but there is a padestrian bridge

Tasker park has so much grass. You could run and run and run. Connected to the Cooks River cycle and walking paths as well.

Enjoy this little slice of open space before the town council tears it down to make way for more ugly apartments that rich people will invest in and leave empty. Seriously.

Soccer / basketball facilities. There are restrooms but not amazing condition. Not a playground for kids really, and no evidence of a picnic area where i was sitting. Beautiful spot and appears to be dog friendly.

Ground with 2 cricket pitches and open area between them for soccer or anything else. Nice walk along the river too. Has basic facilities. Make sure you bring your folding chair and a cap as no shade around. Ample parking with no our limits

Great sports park. Have two cricket pitches, basketball court and even to play soccer. Rest rooms aren't great. But it's a lovely place for pets too.

Too many kids sports clubs during day and afternoon, everyday. They bully you off.The lights turn off too early aswell leaving you in pitch black. Otherwise great, two cricket pitches , basket ball court and pleanty of unetted soccer goals, pity the locals cant use it and there are games on saturdays too.

It’s great space with big real grass and basketball courts, the bathrooms are dirty it has some improvements to make. The gym there is great but there is a lady there who’s not friendly, overall all is fair.

Great location but needs basic maintenance. For example on the day I visited there was a broken basketball hoop. Lighting is also poor around the basketball court so evening and night games not possible.

I grew up around this park, there is a lot of sporting facilities at this park including a cricket field during summer,a soccer field during winter. Other amenities include a permanent basketball court, change rooms, an indoor ice skating rink, kids playground and a pool/fitnes center which includes: an olympic sized swimming pool with a fitness/gym center, an indoor pool, kids shallow pool as well as seating area and change-rooms (The pools are quite high quality). The grass as tasker park is very well kept and looked after all year round also this park runs along Cooks River.

Beautiful ground with a wide range . I am enjoying this masterpiece by playing soccer over here πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. Well i loved this place but the sewage near the masterpiece is not suitable . Council need to give an eye on that ,which could change the face of council.
