The new addition to Marrickville Metro would have to one of the best smaller shopping centres I’ve been to. The aesthetics, design and architecture is awesome. Very unique with retro, future fit outs. The toilets even look amazing. Restaurants have a great vibe with many cuisines available. Worth checking out.

A really nice addition to the previous shopping area. It has a wide variety to shops and restaurants to cater to the different taste buds and foodie. Design of the new wing has a nice clean modern fresh look. Parents/baby changing room is amazing! Very kids and baby friendly with lots of options for foodies. Will definitely be back.

I love this place. I must live near it for however long I’m in Sydney. I’m literally here daily and it has all I need. Example - I needed a nice ladies suit jacket for a good mates wedding (I was a grooms woman), I searched in the city, Broadway, multiple outlets around Sydney and found NOTHING. Went to the faithful metty and found a jacket that was exactly what I needed. WHY LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE EVER! I’m serious I love it.

Love this mall. Good selection of shops and very good food options in both food court (old section) and restaurants (new section). Love the fun, colorful, and interesting layout and eclectic interior of the new section. There is a beautifully re-painted old piano. Also equiped with a Dyson hair dryer in the ladies.

I guess all the reviews here are fake. Every day the bathroom is wet and broken And the upstairs arcade broke down, so I paid for it, but the coin didn't come out, but at first I answered the phone and ignored my message of greeting politely. I haven't heard from you in a month. I just don't need to give my money. I just want to hear an apology politely. They don't apologize. The manager here chewed my message and pasted it, but he kept organizing it and didn't say anything. I really hope this place is ruined. I hope the same thing happens to you and your family. I pray that you are always unhappy

I had to visit Marrickville Metro because they are one of the only spots that have an NRMA. Parking was easy and plentiful and the shopping centre had lots of shops to look at. I was most impressed with their #METRORECYCLEWALL Such a wonderful initiative.

Good luck getting here on public transport, however if you drive it's worth it. The food shops are crazy good, the bottle shops have a larger selection and staff who know what they are talking about coffee shops were good and it's almost a trendy spot. The new sections have fantastic art and a Leafy sort of feel between buildings. Watch this space

This is my first time in this place. I'm pleasantly surprised! Has all sort of good quality shops and it is very easy friendly to walk around. To terribly big either, so it is 👍

The shopping centre is incredibly poor designed to with no clear directions for anything. The carpark has no clear signs directing which roads are one way or not. The website has minimal information on store location and the ‘interactive’ centre map does not work on mobile. The shopping centre has good shops and is clean but the design of the centre and accessibility ruins it.

Busy centre with plenty variety in retail shopping and ample free parking. New section has opened in Smidmore Street and its spacious with great atmosphere with some great new food places added to the centre, just a short walk out of the main building. Can be a bit confusing in there to find your way around if you're new in the place, but most centres are just like that. Somewhat decieving in size but a great haunt for the locals to shop in. It has just about everything needed with modern upgrades done to it.

Plenty of car parking and a good variety of shops. Aldi's, Woolworths, Kmart all the major chains. The food mall is excellent. I highly recommend you give it a go.

It’s a nice mall with a very cool modern area with stylish lighting and signs. We shopped at their Coles which has great bakery items and fizzy drinks.

This shopping centre has improved immensely since the expansion and the wonderful new shops and restaurants. Great place to have a meal then shop or just wander around. Lots of people on a Sunday but you don’t feel crowded as there are many open spaces.

A great shopping center with a local feel that's expanding and getting better year by year without loosing touch to it's local roots. Good selection of brand name and highly quality independent stores (the independent butcher and fruit market is a must-try!) + A few quirky gift/general stores you didn't know you wanted or needed until you tried them. Also has a book nook, recycle/swap meet, outdoor chill area with reflection pond, outdoor chess/play area, bike racks, taxi rank, bus stops and more with local pub, coffee shops and major park with aquatic center all within easy 10-15mins walk. Highly recommend.

I love this shopping centre as it is spacious and all the shops are spacious too. My main criticism is that there are no information points, and one has to ask other shoppers if they can direct one to the desired store

Fantastic shopping centre with pretty much anything you could want. With the addition of the new area it has much more of a lifestyle / social element to it that was somewhat missing prior. There is also ample parking, I've never arrived and not been able to easily find a spot. If/ when they update some of the interior of the older section to match the new it will be perfect.

Watch Center is a SCAMMER, and RIPPED OFF people. DON'T go to [Watch Center] on the Ground floor. They scam & tricky! I bought a $50 watch from them, started with they purposely told that Don't wash hand with it, once water get into it, they don't cover to fix it. I only worn ONCE, it stopped working. I went back, they blackmailed me that I wet it, that's the reason it broken! Finishing renovation with the new extension in November 2021. The deco are highlighted and transformed from a local shopping mall to an awesome place to hangout. 🤠🤟😎

Very interesting inner west shopping centre with basically 2 areas. One holds the groceries and cafes/ restaurants and the other kmart, clothing, and retail shops. It's quite contemporary with some restaurants looking very flash. We visited the Panetta store, which has a great variety of food items including meat, fish, chicken and great breads. Good parking upstairs and amenities in the retail area. Colino1861 recommended ✅️

Some unique boutique food shops, + a diverse range of other services competitive pricing. Industrial interior fit out works well with building design. Highly recommend for some great eateries as well especially the "grumpy Italian" customer service excellence, superb pasta & pizzas

Awesome and new shopping centre, plenty of shops, eateries and parking with a great lively vibe. Unlimited parking so you can spend ages here exploring, shopping and socialising. They also have a focus on recycling by the centre and a community green bags and books idea. Clean and bright shopping centre, recommended 👌

Damaged my precious car getting up the ramp to the main carpark. They have spent so much money on the complex and still have not fixed the problem. You should not have to turn 270 degrees in a confined space to get up the ramp. From the other marks, it looks like many others have had the same problem. A real turn off.

I like it here since 2018, everything is great just the tables in front of Mac'd always dirty and stains of drinks needs to be sprayed and wipe with bleech or something?

Love the concept of half indoor half outdoor restaurant precinct with other shops. Sadly most of the restaurants we’ve tried are not really that great and close quite early on Saturday nights and other few retail outlets close early on a Sunday afternoon. There are some worthy shops to visit like the spice shop and the green grocery come deli, and parking is easy so there’s that.

For a suburban shopping centre in the heart of the inner west, it caters for just about anything you could want. Barber shops, cafes, retailers like EB Games and Kmart all nestled in a well lit, modestly sized centre. They’ve recently doubled their footprint, adding great eateries and specialist retailers. The car park is huge, you’d be hard pressed to turn up and not find a spot.

I wish the big Blue Room was back. For months, we used to drive half an hour to here for weekend groceries and let our toddler hangout in the old Blue Room with the other kids. Then they changed it to like an arcade room. I guess the Blue Room wasn’t generating revenue? but the Blue Room certainly lead to massive foot traffic, and very condusive for kids and families.

AN AMAZING SHOPPING MALL IN MARRICKVILLE!!!! I highly recommend you visit this lovely place, with exquisite interior design and an extensive range of great business institutions. Anything from food to groceries and even banking can be found here! It is a nice communal space that can provide a venue for any social gathering or shopping trip. They offer many interesting stores and can easily be accessed. A parking lot is present at the site of the metro, designated for visitors to the location.

Disappointing to see KFC now being given space. Shockingly bad for your health, full of saturated fats, and sky-high full of calories. And the major retailers sell tobacco products, known killers. Where is the social responsibility here? You could do much better than this.

This place has grown so much over the years. Getting close to awesome. Layout a bit tricky but the old part is almost the same as it was when built. It’s good for me as Service NSW is near a bank and other place you can visit while waiting to be serviced.

Convenient, at busy times parking is not so smooth but can be found. Has some key places like Woolies, Aldi, Kmart, some shops and restaurants. The new area is a great addition. Would be great if more shops could remain open until later.

What have they done to this place! Marrickville Metro used to be one of the most depressing places on Earth. Dreary, ugly people, tired old shops and it just felt dirty and forgotten. Now - my god! It's bright, brilliant, an amazing selection of shops. Everything is clean. The food options are EPIC and the place is double the size. They have EVERYTHING! Parking still isn't the easiest but I always get one. I love this place now. My whole family wants to go there any time we are nearby. You guys should be a case study in how to rejuvinate a shopping centre. Well done!

Classic older style mall but is clean and vibrant. Has a good range of shops and there is a real community feel here. Great food options and the mechanic upstairs ( in carpark area) is well priced and does things properly.

How forward and progressive is this metro!? I don't live in the area but visiting this centre is always treat with their book sharing shelf, and extensive recyclable wall. My partner and I are awfully green, and always come here to recycle all the things we can't recycle with curbside such as shampoo bottles and makeup containers.

This place is one of the hearts of marrickville for just a shopping center the make over it is receiving is bring a well needed face lift to the area hopefully completed by the end of 2020. Currently the metro house some good food court options and shopping destinations for groceries plus salons and barbers with the odd coffee shops or to witch can be very tasty.
