This place is absolutely amazing! You can choose between rice and noodles as a base and on the top you can pick from 1 to 3 dishes. They even have vegan duck! I never tried the real one, but this one was delicious! I will definitely come back.

Okay, revisited. This time it was 👍. __----------------------------- Having dinner with my plastic mate Bubbles. I like this vegan food place a lot and have been frequently visiting. But honestly, today’s steamed rice is so HARD. I posted a vid of my mate Bubbles struggling to eat up this 3 choices plate as Bubbles was very hungry. But the rice, I cry and cry.

I've had good meals from here before, but a recent order was so bad that I will be avoiding this restaurant in future. The massaman curry was almost tasteless, with some potatoes that were overcooked and some that were close to raw. It definitely seemed like they had just added water to their old batch and threw in some extra vegetables to fill an order.

I walk by this place just about everytime I go to Newtown and finally decided to dine in and try it. Fantastic food with quite generous portion sizes all for quite a reasonable price! Makes me feel even more open-minded towards eating vegetarian/vegan food.

I have been going to this restaurant from last 6 years when it was close to newtown hotel. Service was better then. Now the portion of food is very less. They did increase the price but don't understand why serve a little portion only. Especially when an old lady serves. So I am not visiting this place as much I used to. But yet thanks, we still can enjoy pure veg food in Sydney because of them.

The place is run down, with the door open at all times, without air-conditioning you can often smell traffic, my plate was good, but wife plate with the green curry the taste was off. Recommend NOT to order the green curry.

This place is great. Prices range from $10-13 depending on how many you options you choose with either fried rice or noodles. They are usually very generous with their portions, but some workers can be a tad stingy with their potion size. Curry puffs as an extra is an all time favourite.

Super yummy food, lovely service. Always go here with family or friends for a filling and very well priced meal. Their selection of choices is very abundant and always changing, while keeping the favourites there. Cant recommended more for the budding vegan / vegetarians !!

This place used to be great. But it's been going downhill over the last year. The portion sizes are now half of what they used to be and definitely not worth the price. The last two times I went, the food was cold. Hopefully it gets back to the way it was and it'll be 5 stars again.

got the chicken fried rice, 4piece spring roll and pad see ew on uber eats and overall a bit of a bummer. i’m vegan and was stoked to try some good vegan thai but pretty disappointed at the quality of the food. the fried rice came with a more of a sticky/mushy coconut rice - some may like this but really not my thing and there were black burnt bits throughout. they must’ve run out of spring rolls bc they sent 3 + 1 curry puff and they definitely aren’t fresh. somehow dry and oily? just tasted really old and stale :( my bf got the pad see ew and he said it was fine but nothing crazy. maybe a dine in experience would be better!

I went into Blossoming Lotus today on my way home after running some errands on South King, to pick up some sweets to take home. I purchased the green pandan buns, and wrapped taro sticky rice. $5.50 each. To my surprise and disappointment, when I got home, I discovered that the inside of the leaves covering the sticky rice, and the rice itself, were covered in mould. While there are plenty of vegan Thai options in Sydney, I would really like to continue supporting this local business in Newtown. I hope that this review is considered and that this is just a one-off experience. If the owners would like a photo of the described, I would be happy to share.

Known this veg place for a long time but first time to visit, ‘roasted duck’ was amazingly good. 3 choice with noodles $12 Come back for sure!!

I was a frequently visitor here for years (I miss the old "green palace" days), slowly over time the quality has gone down but for $11 couldn't complain too much. "Crispy soy" was always a favourite with its tasty black pepper coating. Last week while enjoying a takeaway box of "2 choices with fried rice", I found a small cockroach halfway through the box. phoned up, they didn't seem surprised to hear, but did however apologise and refunded . Sad to say I'll never eat here again.

Absolutely best Vegan restaurant/ Cafe ever!! I use to go to one in Cabramatta called “Green Palace”. But they closed down. I found this restaurant online and I headed there the same day! “That was 5 years ago”. I love this place so much. The staff are welcoming and the owner Om is so lovely as well”. My personal preference is the Vege ribs with steam rice. “Crispy soy peace’s, vege duck and the green curry with Tofu”. - with lots of chilli too. I really like this place and I come here when I want an affordable and comforting meal. Really relaxing and homely vibes in this restaurant, even with it being on King Steert. I highly recommend.

The food I ordered was a weird mix of cold and lukewarm, and the spring rolls were hard as nails. I ate a few mouthfulls and couldn't stomach any more for how dissatisfying this meal was. 0/10 would not recommend.

Food is simply AMAZING! Simple but delicious at the same time ...I have been in this restaurant since 2016 (before they were in another location) and they never disappoint me. Strongly raccomend the eggplant chilly or eggplant tomato and mushroom!

One of the must visit food joints in Sydney for Vegans and Vegetarians. The food is Yummm and the portions are really generous. The staff are very friendly and it's not pricy at all. Do note that it is mostly take away food joint, but you also have couple of tables for dine-in. You will struggle finding a parking spot on King Street. So, park your car at any spot that you get when you are close enough to walk to the restaurant.

This place is a real hidden gem in Newtown, it doesn't look too much from the outside but the food is incredible and so affordable! Fantastic choice of vegan dishes available.

For a quick vegan Thai takeaway. This is a Newtown institution. I was going to give it a 4 but the fact that it's made it 10 + years puts it near Clem's status. Sure the noodles I had were a little hard. But the dishes are always full of flavour. With no onions or garlic either. We also had the apple strudel which was amazing. This was a staple that got me through the hard vegan days. Reminding me that plant based foods can be amazing.

Simple, respectful and humble little place. Take away or sit in. Simple table set up. Food taste good, like a good home cooked meal. Great location. Atmosphere, decor and service is all what you see is what you get. And what you get is an honest meal, comfortable reception and good value or money. My favourite dish is the crispy soy!

This restaurant is actually a vegan restaurant and it’s an allium free vegan. Allium free is no onion, no garlic, no leek, no shallot, no chives. Those strong smell are used to overcome the smell of the meats and eggs. Vegan are all plants, allium become unnecessary. On the contrary, they have ruined the tastes of vegans completely. So vegan allium free are really ideal. Blossom Lotus is such one. If you are coming during lunch time. You have a lot of varieties to choose. Served with rice or noodle of your choice, you are paying $10 for one choice on top, $12 for two choices, and $13 for three choices. If you dine in, you may have free water for drink. The Hormok Steam Tofu $ Mushroom are creamy coconut yellow curry spicy. Tofu and Mushroom are steamed to tender. Very suitable for spicy people. Black bean veggie and tofu are very lightly salted and no much oil. Knowing exactly what vegan/vegetarian tastes are. Veggies and tofu are very well wok cooked. If you still have the impression of strong salty black bean taste of normal Asian style restaurant or Take away, then you should think the opposite of that. Pleasant and not salty at all, just right is the word. Tomato eggplants are combination of Western and Asian. Imagine battered eggplants cooked in Italian style tomato pasta, nice and yummy. $13 for a safe and healthy lunch, thank you. Don’t you think everyone may come. A quiet Vegan Thai restaurant in Newtown. A good selection of dishes from vegan soy ribs with lemongrass and chilli, crispy soy slices, red and green curries, hokkien noodles, fried rice, vege duck, etc. There are also other dishes on their menu you can order to cook fresh apart from the hot bar foods, such as pad thai, salad, wonton noodle soup. Their flavours were very balanced and good amount of spicy, sweet and salty. The only thing was some choices were a bit oily. Other than that, great vegan restaurant to choose in Newtown area. 1 choice of food with noodle/fried rice $9.5, 2 choices $11 and 3 choices $12.

Modest little vegan restaurant on busy King Street. The food is kept in a bain marie, but you can order from a menu on the wall also. Almost always get the soy slices and vegan duck and have never been disappointed 👌. Highly recommend trying the sticky rice as well. Sraightforward good food.

I thoroughly enjoyed a Barbecue bun. It had a texture that was delicate and added immensely to the pleasurable consumption of the food. The inner content was distinctively meat-free and the recipe seems to utilise this fact body to enhance the experience of eating vegan cuisine without having to compromise. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who desires an alternative to traditional Australian cuisine, even an unique Thai experience.

It's my first time here but I'm so impressed for the service and delicious vegan foods. The taste is exactly same in Thailand and the price is very cheap. I bought lots of frozen foods back home. Glad to meet this place and I'm planning to come back again.

I'm a meat eater and the food here was extremely tasty. No bland hippy stuff. 100% flavour. If i can figure out how to make food like this i wont miss meat. The food is all cooked and waiting in bain maries so its very fast service. The ladies serving are really nice. The shop has a quiet peaceful vibe.

The food here is well priced and delicious. They have an a la carte menu but I usually go for the bain marie option which cost $14 for 3 choices + rice or noodles. The serving is plentiful and every dish taste amazing. The service is quick and friendly.

I’ve been a regular customer and have enjoyed Uber eats from this restaurant. But tonight the Uber driver did not deliver my drink that I paid for. Cheating me out of my money! I rang the restaurant several times but they don’t pick up. I’m very disappointed bad manners, bad public relations and food was delivered without a receipt. I've always really loved this place. The food is homely and all vegetarian. The mock pork buns are amazing. Soy crisps are a must to try... You can add fried rice, plain rice or noodles... With a whole bunch of different toppings. If you don't know what to eat it's the perfect place. Staff are friendly and caring, portions are very generous. Take note it is cash only!

Had dinner here few nights back.... totally awesome experience. I’m not a vegetarian, so getting me in the front door would normally be a challenge, however, something was intriguing enough to get me in the door. I couldn’t believe that the food wasn’t meat! So I had to try it.... Wow! Amazing ! Filling, delicious, healthy, just sooo yummy. It was everything I thought vegetarian food wasn’t. Definitely going back there. Lots. This is by far my new fave place to eat or get food from.

This place is such a gem. The food is incredible, the staff are lovely, the decor is so quaint and homely, it's affordable, the portion sizes are amazing and so filling. There's so much variety for vegans/vegetarians that we have to keep coming back to make sure we've tried every single thing on the menu (though we've only tried the food out front). My boyfriend isn't vegan or vegetarian but loves this place as much as I do. My absolute most favourite place to eat in all of Sydney.

This is my favourite Vegetarian restaurant in Newtown!! You can pick maximum three dishes + rice/noodles. You can either dine in or takeaway. Lunch time is slightly cheaper than dinner time. They also have sweets I have never tried yet but they all look good. The portion is very generous and taste great! Always my belly becomes satisfied thank you so much!

Really good food for the palate and for the soul at an affordable price (they now accept card!). They have this 3-viand (choose any 3 viands) rice meal for 12.50AUD and the serving is plenty that my husband and I had to share in one order, but with one extra rice. My favorite so far is crispy soy slices. Will definitely keep coming back to taste all their offerings.

One of my all time favorite restaurants. Fast, friendly service of some of the most filling (and yummy) vegan food you can find in the area. Generous servings of plates that are under $13 for a three curry special. The crispy soy slices and vegan duck are great. I find choosing just three items for the special really tough.

A great vegan staple on King Street. The food has been consistently delicious and well priced for the last 13 years that I have been coming here. Still a favourite, and even though I eat here at least once every week it never gets old or repetitive.

Decent meal here,great portion sizes and the staff are lovely. It's vegan too! Fabulous! They have a toilet in the back as well if you just ask. Fantastic if you want just good honest, basic food. :)

The food now has no taste, if some one from heath department inspects the kitchen then place will be closed the same day. Pl if you are vegetarian then stay Hungary for little bit more time until you get a proper fresh tasty healthy vegetarian food

I've been coming back since I was about 16 years old, this place is an institution and the best value food in Sydney. Staff are amazing, when you ask for it hot they will hospitalize you, and the crispy soy strips made my committed carnivore housemate cry before adopting vegetarianism for 6 months. One of my favourite places to eat on planet earth.

Fantastic asian food, grab something from the ready-to-eat selection or order something special. I always like the eggplant which is cooked to perfection here but it is a bit on the oily side so the other choices they have here like the mock duck are probably healthier. There is a huge yellow vegetarian sign out the front, but don't worry everything here seems to actually be vegan- you can always ask to make sure. You can also grab some sweet chinese steamed snacks for later. Great place for lunch.

Delightful, no-frills, well-priced vegetarian Thai restaurant with quick, calm and polite service. The buffet options are popular but ask for the menu and try one of the best laksas in Sydney. Rice noodles bathed in warming and creamy coconut milk with crispy beancurd (a revelation) and tofu – it is a thing of beauty. One of the best value restaurants in Newtown. I got the laksa, two spring rolls and a curry puff for $15.50.

Have been going to this place for years and always love their crispy soy strips. Portion sizes have become smaller, but that’s no biggie. Very disappointed to say I found mould on the sticky rice taro dessert, however. Food safety is lacking. I noticed another reviewer mentioned this issue too, sad to see staff aren’t doing anything about it.
