👍 Really delicious! Definitely the spot for pho/Vietnamese in Marrickville. We got pho, spring rolls, and viet iced coffees and they were all so good 😌. The staff were also really friendly :)) Will be back to try more of the dishes :)) PS the photo doesn’t really do it justice. Flavorful and authentic bun bo hue. The soup has a strong shrimp paste taste and is a little spicy. Comes with beef brisket, pig blood jelly, pork hock and Vietnam sausage. Highly recommend it if you want an authentic bun bo hue!

My mum makes the best home cooked Vietnamese food so I always compare restaurant dishes to hers. This place is pretty up there and the service is friendly too. Would definitely come back. Thank you! :)

First time there and very impressive. I am a huge fan of Pho Vietnamese food. Use to good another place near by but wanted to try some places different. I checked on Google reviews and this place looking good. So give a try and it is better than I thought. Pho and spring rolls are so delicious. Friendly staff. I would give they too 3 of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney.

Good place for Vietnamese food outside the west (Cabra and Canley). The pho broth was decent, but I was a disappointed that my special was more like a regular pho as it lacked generous amounts of meatballs and tripe. The fried chicken with rice was delicious. Customer Service is friendly. It's worth noting that the restaurant is incredibly warm inside, which isn't great when you're eating hot soup noodles.

Must try Spicy beef noodles soup aka Bun Bo Hue when you come here! The most authentic flavour I could find in Sydney for this particular dish. Portion is great as well. The owners are nice and friendly.

The best bun bo hue I have had in Sydney, hands down. It stands as a close contender to that of my Vietnamese chef of a mother. I could actually taste and smell the shrimp paste that most places tend to skimp out on. Goi was also delicious and fresh with extra effort in pickling the onions and providing tender and juicy chicken. The owners are lovely people with beautiful smiles and great patience. The restaurant is reminiscent of many family-owned Vietnamese establishments; humble and welcoming. The portions are more than generous and the quality is high. Thank you so much for such a wonderful meal. I'll definitely come back again soon.

Wonderful place! The food and service is great. Have been a few times, they do a great partnership where they deliver to Miss Wolf if you’re having a drink in there. Always speedy and always still piping hot. I’ve always had the fried rice with chicken and salty fish, I’m sure one day I’ll try something different but find it hard to go past this dish!

What a delectable bowl of happiness served by the most cheerful man to make for the most pleasurable experience. Highly recommend the springs rolls for the juicy pork insides and the beef pho.

This is one of the original Vietnamese places in Marrickville. As others have modernised to try to attract the changing demographic of the area, this place has resisted and still has the minimally decorated, minimally comfortable approach. I have eaten here numerous times over the years, and whilst their menu is VERY broad and comprehensive, I have never been impressed by any dish enough to return for it. At the same time, the food has never been so bad that I felt the need to complain.

I ordered grill pork with rice take away, and it was awful. They served me a box with rice and a pork above it, and some onions too. No carrot, no salad, no nothing about any more vegetable, and the box come with the sauce, very little too. I read all review about this restaurant and i wonder why they serve take away order like this

Very flavourful broth, portions are hugeeee like really huge, I'm an average sized Asian adult and I can't finish all the pho noodles that they give. If I had any qualms, probably was that for the price of A$18 the amount of beef they give was kinda little.

This dish is special dish broken rice with grilled pork with sunny egg (cơm tấm sườn bì chả trứng). They make it very nice like Vietnamese style and the fish sauce especially for the dish as well. It helps my homesick a lot. I also tried Pho in this place and I was amazed at their broth. This restaurant may look old but the taste is very Vietnamese and very good.

I gave the place a 3 stars overall. I arrived today after 12pm and they just opened. There were no condiment on the table, you have to ask for everything and the elderly waiter had very little knowledge of english but polite with a big smile. I had the bun bo hue because that is one of their best selling dishes. It was ok. I guess I have eaten better, a place at 299 Chapel St Bankstown Pho Song Huong ( the old Gia Hoi, they changed their name because people steal their brand), famous for their Bun bo hue and their portion with heaps of meat . That is my benchmark so I will always compared any Bun Bo Hue to that place, world wide. I did not find their serving large, very average serve with very few pieces of meat. The taste was ok, missing a few spices, but couls taste the shrimp paste, I probably won't try the same dish again but will have another go for their Pho.

Had the vegetarian fried egg noodles. Noodles were crispy, sauce was tasty but wish there were more vegetables on the dish! The mushrooms also had an interesting taste to them, might've been canned or old? Not bad for any easy meal but I love mushrooms and I didn't have the best time eating these ones :(

We ordered the special Bun Bo hue. The food is authentic yes with lot of flavor and toppings. The bow is so big which I could not finish it. It’s worth paying for VIetnamese cuisine

We had pho and bun bo hue at Huong Giang. The serving was generous, pricing was reasonable, and uncle provided a very friendly service. The food was alright.

Thought I'd try here, and ordered takeaway but they have a menu price and then charge what they want. When questioning the price to the man that served me, thinking it was just an honest mistake, he just said prices have gone up and walked away. Even with the prices increase of what he said, he still overcharged. And it was clear they had already increased their menu prices. Flavour wasn't bad but quite stingy on the meat included. It wasn't overly busy but they also took about 25-30 mins.

Heavenly beef broth. Classic pho that marrickville is famous for. Friendly, happy staff that seem to be a family owned business. Sterile environment; cold but clean. Complimentary tea is lovely.

First time at Huong Giang, I arrived to have Pho duc biet with my spouse, it was her first time trying this dish. Service was provided with a smile, which was nice. The food was okay, 45 minutes after ordering it arrived, accompanied with basil, lemon and sprouts. We ordered 15 minutes after arriving. Although the broth taste was less than average during dinner service compared to other venues, the beef protein combination was lovely. Unfortunately the service received could have been better, this was my first Vietnamese restaurant experience where the hot tea was not offered at all, to our table only, even after requesting it specifically. Also we had to also request spoons as there were none available upon arrival at 19:30, it was received after the food arrived at after 20:30.
