The guy who appears to be the owner tries very hard to be everyone's best mate, super annoying boss energy. We were treated like we're being done a favour, like we should be so lucky to eat at what is no more than a diner with tablecloths. We were paying customers, leave us alone and take our orders, that's it. Food was fine, too much sugar in the tomato sauce but the pasta was cooked well.

My turn to book the restaurant and La Ricetta was my 1st choice to treat my 2 friends to an Inner West gem. We had a fabulous 3 course meal in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Both friends will be back with their wives.

Quick, easy check in to be seated (table for 2) I went craving for a lasagne so I ordered a large one here & it hit the spot 🤤 friendly service too Obviously parking is always a pain in newtown but that's a given so I'll be back for more lasagne and also would like to try their other menus next time

Lovely atmosphere, it really feels like an old-school, family-run Italian restaurant. The stuffed zucchini flowers were great, the stems still had some texture to them which was perfect. I was quite disappointed with my ravioli though, it was absolutely swimming in bland butter. We stuck around for a digestif afterwards and they had a good selection of liqueurs. Overall, I think it was overpriced for what we got, but it was still a very enjoyable dinner.

Well it was not just the environment, vibe and food; it’s more about the connection that plays a huge role in customer satisfaction. Wanda made a fantastic fun environment which feels you are right in the middle of Italy; the food was just superb and mouth watering. Try here or you lose something that you might not be able to find it somewhere else Thanks Wanda :)

Went to this restaurant and was almost being rejected at door as it was a full house and fully booked. Waited for slightly more than an hour to be served but it was really worth the wait. Food was really delicious and service crews were all very friendly and funny. Really a great dining experience 👍

Lovely staff! They were able to fit us in with no booking. And get our food out quickly. Our food needed a lot of salt. As we couldn’t really taste any. The mushrooms in the pollo fettuccine were delicious. Portion sizes were good. Price based on flavour I would say $20 max for mains but they were around $27.

You get classic Italian food, portions and service. My fettuccine sambuca (with prawns) was one of the tastiest pastas I've ever had, and I've had a lot - my partner was super jealous. I can't wait to go back and try everything else. Thanks again!

Perfect for a date. Amazing food - lots of options. Friendly staff who have an excellent sense of humour. Strongly recommend, will definitely visit again. Recommend booking a table.

Fantastic staff, They were very great and to fit us in with no booking, And we got our food out on time with my special birthday cocktail. As we couldn’t really taste any. the steak was great including the mushroom sauce.

Had dinner here on Friday night, was busy but staff were very attentive. Gluten free options were plentiful with the option to substitute for gluten free gnocchi or 2 other types of pasta. They even had a gluten free beer on the menu! Looking forward to returning soon.

Amazing traditional Italian restaurant in Newtown. Pricing was great for the amount and the quality of food we got. The pastas and bruschetta were fantastic. Would return to try other items on the menu.

Delicious food with amazing service! We had two gnocchi dishes- the gnocchi was amazing so light and melt in your mouth The staff are so lovely and chatty really makes for a great experience. The prices are also very good. We will be back!

Maybe the longest standing of Enmore road restaurants? La Ricetta offer classic Italian food, good size portions and it comes out fast. Staff are professional and ensure a classy dining experience. Regular specials but I can’t move past the bruschetta and zucchini flowers as starters. Good variety on the wine list or cocktails available.

Had a very delicious dinner at La Ricetta after a show at Enmore theatre. Lovely staff, quick service, yummy food and cozy vibe. Must comment on Wanda who served us- what a jolly lady. We loved your service! Looking forward to visiting again.

Heading to a show an the enmore and we didn't have a booking, the staff were so accommodating, the food was made to perfection with no compromise on taste though we were pressed for time. Lovely, homely venue with just delicious food. Really made for a wonderful evening.

A fabulous authentic Italian restaurant opposite the Enmore theatre. Food was exquisite, service impeccable and the red wine was amazing. Great prelude to our show at the theatre.

Excellent restaurant. Yummy food, extensive menu, competitive pricing and great service. Highly recommend the figs wrapped in prosciutto and the chocolate fondant (lava cake). One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney 👍
