Fabulous cafe, the staff were attentive and the service was fast! The quality of food was excellent and I felt I could have stayed there all day the atmosphere was very relaxed. Absolutely loved it would visit again!

Loved the interior and coffee was top class but honestly the food was tough to finish - I had the plate of.. and I felt the combo didn’t necessarily work and it was a very simple dish for a cafe of this level and price. I felt the anchovies made the smell of the meal unappealing but definitely just a personal preference here.

Very bad experience this time… the service was inattentive and we ordered the panini which took 30 mins to cook… and the panini was burnt and hard as a biscuit. But they did replaced it but also quite hard to chew on… We also noticed that the staff took our dine in orders as take away so they had to pour the coffee in take away cups back into the dine in cups in front of us… but we were literally sitting there at the table in-front of them. Worth to mention that the staff took away all our napkins while we were still eating and did not give replacements… I remember this place was good back in 2022 but idk what happened after a year.

What a great little cafe. Service was by friendly attentive staff. Coffee was made and delivered exactly as ordered. I am very fussy when it comes to my coffee and they obviously listen and care as they took their time and served a perfect coffee. Music playing in the background was perfect not too loud so you could still hear other talk. Highly recommend if you are in Newtown. P.s. hope they open one on the Central Coast.

I’ve been here a couple of times and had the same meal cause I enjoyed it so much the first time. The standard didn’t change between visits. Lovely little cafe in Newtown with an outdoor courtyard. The staff are lovely. Food was wholesome and you can tell good and local produce is used. The coffee is also great. I left feeling full.

This is my favourite cafe in Newtown and our go-to for lunch/brunch in Sydney. My partner and I have been coming for 5 years and have never been disappointed. Its comical how many photos of their food I have on my phone. The owners are so lovely and work so hard to present food that is flavourful and inventive. It is crazy how beautiful every dish is plated. The portions are generous, the coffee is always perfect. We are blessed to have this cafe in our lives!

Very nice chill vibes with indoor and outdoor seating 🌿🌿 Had two of their seasonal dishes and we were impressed - they are original and cozy, nourishing but not missing the flavours 🥰

Had the Congee and a bacon and egg panini. It was probably the prettiest congee I've ever seen, but the toppings overpowered the rice, and it wasn't super balanced. The Panini bread was very good. From order to getting the food it was almost 45m, which seemed a very long time because it wasn't that busy, but it was ANZAC day, so maybe they were missing people in the kitchen.

Coffee is very good, a mild smooth sweet blend with no harsh bitterness. Panini was quite disappointing, came out almost burnt, bread was very hard - had to get replaced. The rare beef toast was pleasant, strong flavours balanced with onion and the cheese was creamy and flavourful - chilli packs a mild hit.

Nice atmosphere, tasty food. It did take a bit for the food to come out and they forgot the side order of bacon until we were almost done eating. The restaurant was fairly busy so it's understandable and the staff were very sweet about it. Definitely will go back again.

Absolutely delicious brunch - best mushrooms sooo umami. Unassuming street exterior, very chic inside, friendly and fast staff. Highly recommended

Got a panini which was pretty mediocre especially for $17. Service was pretty slow, also odd we had to wait 20 mins for a table while there were empty tables near the back, which then went to walk ins later anyways. Certainly not my cup of tea and won't be going back.

I’m so glad I found this cafe on my day trip to Sydney! The coffee was amazing and so was the panini. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

Can’t believe this was my first time here! The food was mind blowingly good- had the halloumi panini which was so good. The coffee was 👌 and the service was friendly. Cannot fault this place, and definitely will be back.

If ever considering the mushroom congee - this is your sign to get it. I highly recommend it. It was my first time visiting Either Or and I was told by the waitress that it isn’t ordered often and this showed since it took a while to get my dish (15 mins-ish) but once I did, my goodness it was worth the wait. So deliciously garlic-y and full of nourishment and flavours that transported you to somewhere in Asia. I ordered my usual almond dirty chai and this was also well balanced and spicy in the best kind of way. It didn’t quite go with my dish but it’s my go-to caffeine order. I’m glad they make a good one. I highly recommend an easy morning brekky or late brunch here but opt to sit outside since the interior is full of concrete and gets quite loud.

Although my salad took almost half an hour it was good but coffee was terrible. I could be back for food. Also, others were kind but one of staff members was pretty rude. He has got that vibe ‘why you ask me?’

The cafe is so beautiful. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful they also made drinks quickly here🙌 The cafe is very pleasing and clean we ordered 2 meals Halloumi Panini and avocado toast. Both tasted amazing and presentation was literally stunning. The food here was so high quality it might be the best food I’ve bought from a cafe🙌 Although the wait time for our dishes did take a while but we were more than happy to wait. Honestly would come here again🙏
