If it wasn’t for dining with two vegans I’d never believe you that soul burger was plant based. This place knows what it’s doing when it comes to vegan and vege dining options. The mock meats are so realistic that you think you’re eating the real thing. I really enjoyed my meal. The place was packed and each table was full - Good to see an ethical and environmentally conscious food venue doing so well.

Take your non-vegan friends here for one of these burgers and they’ll be a convert! Absolutely wonderful food. Loved it.

The food is pretty tasty; I especially love the sweet potato fries. It is perfectly located right next to a bus stop making it a great spot to get a quick meal on the way home. It has s wheelchair accessible entrance, a wide shop inside making it easy to order.

Always happy with the burgers from here! Have been many times with vegetarians/vegans and major carnivores and everyone has been able to find something they will enjoy! Would definitely recommend getting sweet potato fries to share too, they’re always delicious!

Humble vegan burger restaurant in Randwick. Didn't even realise it was a vegan place until after I ate my lamb brisket burger upon leaving the store. Great atmosphere and the burger was very juicy and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Pistachio baklava was delicious as well. Great job!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Their burgers look and taste so insanely good, it’s hard to believe it’s all vegan. But it is! We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken bites, cauliflower bites and the cheesy bacon fries. No idea how they do it, but the bacon smelled and tasted like real bacon. Soooo delicious! The homemade kombucha is also really nice. Will definitely be back. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easily the best fries I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, tangy with a zest of lime, and tasty herb. Didn't even need the sauce I bought. Well done! Will be back for more.

I ordered the butter chicken and the popcorn chicken snack. I liked the butter chicken sandwhich but the popcorn chicken snack was amazing. Crazy good sauce. Highly recommend this place for the incredible foods and great vibes.

I came in late on a weekday afternoon, so there was literally one staff who cooks, also take order and clean the tables. It wasn't busy so that's ok. They have a variety of vegan options, for those who want natural or vegan mock meat as well. I chose BBQ pork pork which had vegan Veef and jackfruit. Then bun can be made gluten free. It was very saucy with the fillings always want to slide out. It was messy but it was good. Definitely better than other vegan burger joints I have been to. Fast, delicious and reasonable price, which made it more accessible. Will come back more often now!

Great service - super fast! I have tried several burgers from here, hotdogs, the popcorn chicken, fries, and milkshakes. I was not personally blown out of the water with the burgers, but they are GOOD, don't get me wrong. I just thought they did a better job with their hotdogs! Milkshakes could have also been a bit thicker! I'd recommend you try both!

Love it that this place has so many creative options for plant based diet! Have tried burgers such as chilli beef, cheese please and SB Mac. All were tasty. I especially liked SB Mac. The brioche bun was great and even the brioche in the middle was slightly crispy. The taste of the burgers were well balanced. Have also tried classic and sweet onions and peppers subs. The meatballs were cooked so well! Juicy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. Classic sub was a little too sour for me and would have been better if there were more herbs added to balance the taste. Sweet onions and peppers sub was tasty and balanced. For the chips, sweet potato and regular fries were crunchy and tasty. Overall, great to have Soul Burger around.

Great place to taste any possible vegan alternative to meat based common comfort food. The taste is so great that we prefer this place to any other meat based burger we tried around. Strongly suggested are the bacon loaded fries! The service is a tad slow so plan ahead but very kind. The ambiance is simple but the location near to the small Randwick plaza and other amenities makes it the perfect place for a dinner and movies or just a small stroll.

The staff were nice and the venue was pleasant but unfortunately the food was not to our taste. The burger buns feel lifeless and the patties themselves are uninspiring.

Looked for a vegan place in Randwick and found this gem. Plenty of options for a reasonable price. I had the chicken kebab and my boyfriend had the pulled pork one, it was delicious and kept us full! Staff was very friendly as well.

I was minus two items (my drink and dipping Mayo for my chips) and my chips were cold and my shake was part empty. I tried to call after the delivery and no one answered. They responded swiftly and resolved my situation with great customer service. So would still order from them despite this.

Ordered online at 18:15 for an 18:40 pick-up. Was told at 18:40 it would be 5-6 minutes, then again at 18:55 it would be 10 minutes. Eventually got my food at 19:10! I appreciate it was a Friday night, but being acknowledged properly would’ve been nice and service with a smile goes a long way. If the staff are too busy it’s up to the managers to organise more staff, not expect the few that are there to work harder. And it is definitely up to the managers to train the staff on proper and respectful customer service. If there was another vegan only burger place close enough by then I don’t think people would gravitate towards here, I feel like they’re running on a monopoly of the market and they just don’t care.

Lovely plant based joint in a good spot. I had the truffle beef* burger 🍔 and a kombucha. The plant based “beef” burger was one of the best plant based ones I’ve ever had! So juicy and moist I wouldn’t have known it’s not real meat. I also really liked that the kombucha was on tap which saves on waste. The outside tables are nice too.

So many tasty options here, it's a regular go-to for our family. Although it's plant based, you'd have to be a very strange carnivore to not also enjoy what's on offer. The chips are brilliant and the milk shakes an absolute must.

The staff have no idea what gluten free means and to be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t know what vegan means either. The menu says some burgers are gluten free if ordered with a gluten free bun, however an old PDF of the burger allergens found online state that the very same burgers in fact do contain gluten. I asked staff about whether or not the burger contained gluten and she didn’t understand what I was asking and ended up coming out with a gluten free bun on my burger which I ended up removing myself anyway since I personally don’t like it and find it too dense (I ordered a bun less burger and asked staff to make sure it was gluten free - they asked if I wanted the burger to be bun less or with a gluten free bun, and I said I would like it to be bun less and if there are gluten free ingredients just let me know or remove them. I think this just confused them unfortunately). I decided to give the staff and menu the benefit of the doubt but after vomiting at 2:30am that night, I won’t be returning. This was more of an issue with communication than quality of product because as bad of an experience being sick later at night is, if I weren’t gluten intolerant I would have really enjoyed it :)

Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon as we couldn’t be bothered to cook. This place is a nice surprise! I had bbq ‘chicken’ fingers and sweet potato fries with vegan aioli and the texture and flavour were both pretty good. My husband’s burger had a bit of a weird texture and totally didn’t resemble beef, but that’s okay - It tasted nice and as meat eaters, were not expecting it to be identical. But we’re trying to eat less meat, and this place fit the bill nicely. Normally I’d prefer more of a service based restaurant but this actually suited us for the time of day. We were the only customers in there, and the only time we saw staff was when they brought food out from the kitchen. We ordered via QR code, it was super simple and easy and we felt really relaxed. Maybe in the evening I’d expect a bit more, like maybe someone acknowledging you’ve entered the building, but for a Sunday afternoon, it felt like an extension of our living room and I can’t complain!

We love the Soul Burger chips - the best - we do not have salt or spices added and have them at least once per week. There is a problem in the consistency of serving portions. We usually get 2 large serves but have gone to one large and one small - we upsized again to 2 large and seriously there were less chips in the 2 large than the one large and one small. It is extremely annoying that the serving sizes vary so much. There should be a standard serving for large and for small. Please address this.

Soul Burger was unexpectedly delicious! We both got the Sydney Sider and it was pumped with flavor. Umami, cheesy, bacony, and we chose to wash them down with ice-cold kombucha. The price stings a bit, but they regularly have discounts.

The burgers were so so good and everyday they had a deal, you can tell the girls who work there are very busy with ubers order and it's like they need more staff or maybe I had a wrong impression. So we had to wait for our food for like 40min when the place only had 5 people already eating, I wasn't in a rush, but the atmosphere doesn't invite U to stay there. Anyway I really enjoy my dinner, the recipes are so good, friendly staff and definitely I'll come back another time for this $10 deal.

Burger was very decent! Good size. Selection of "beef", "chicken", "fish", portobello mushroom, tofu. Breakfast burger, indian burger, cheese burger etc etc. Bunch of different sauces, seasonings and add-ons. The fries were crunchy mid-cut style with a choice of seasonings too. Service was pretty quick and its a nice spot to dine-in. My burger and fries were $21. So, about what you'd expect to pay. Defo be back!

Take it for what it is: good take away burgers, priced decently. Their chips are always nice and crispy too. They also have healthier tasty options! Highly recommend the cheese please :)

The best. best hot chips. Most delicious burgers. I recently had the Southern Fried Chicken burger and it was super tasty. ( I have sampled many others and all of them have been delicious) lovely staff. Ordering has been quick and easy. But best of all is that the most leans towards the healthy side. Food is fresh, it's not oily and the ultimate test is that it doesn't make you feel sluggish or bloated. What's not to love about Soul Burger!?

Fantastic food, and quite possibly the friendliest staff I've come across at a restaurant. My closest store was in Parramatta so I've been gutted ever since they closed up, but if it weren't for that I'd have probably never thought to try this place, so I'd say that's a pretty good silver lining.

Delicious burger, mock duck burger was similar texture to duck it was a shocker! ? but could do with more sauce to be honest. The salad coleslaw was really bland. But they do have great variety on the menu and would love to try the rest :) UPDATE I went back and tried their chilli duck (again) and chilli beef burger ? The burgers were delicious. Coleslaw was well dressed and the burger sauce yummy! pro tip: add extra 'bacon' ? in the chilli beef burger ? bloody delicious!! The fries was thick cut and super crispy!! So yummy! And honestly, they have great staff too xx definitely worth a mention. P.S. the choc chip pana milkshake for dessert... Yes please!! ?

ITS MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD

Ordered via the soul burger app and was waiting for an hour so called the restaurant to cancel and refund the order as was told they had no delivery driver. The operative agreed to cancel and refund the order then I went to the supermarket to buy food . 2 hours after placing and cancelling the order a driver turned up with cold food and extra cold and soggy chips (I assume as some compensation!) I called the restaurant and they hung up. The next call to the restaurant went through to voicemail- appalling customer service and I received cold food 2 hours after initial order and an hour after the restaurant agreeing to cancelling and refunding the order!! No stars if I could and avoid this place! Contact via the app to resolve issue takes a day for response ,and despite no indication on the app is apparently only staffed during business hours. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER: I was offered a refund and credit by is assume manager Tee in the first email communication on condition only if I deleted this review. When I responded that I wouldn’t be black-mailed into doing this, then suddenly it’s going to be 24 hours to ‘look into a refund’. Despite the continual edits/changes to the response by the manager, I’m yet to receive any confirmation by this company of a processed refund and I’ve also asked for clarification as to why personal banking details have been requested by this establishment for a refund, when refund can be initiated through the app. No answer about this and just informed by Tee that my email address would be blocked and again pressured me to delete review. I note that Tee has again updated his response and continues to engage in a libellous and condescending manner and chooses to attack customers rather than take onboard any honest feedback about the poor service provided and use it to address the issues at the business! As you say Tee ‘good grief!’ Still no refund has been issued and no response from the LOKE APP Anyway i tried to use company app rather than UBER EATS and that was certainly a mistake. This is the level of customer care you should expect to receive from this establishment. The manager will likely edit this post again and continue to call me uncharitable, damaging, and try to paint me to be the issue rather than accept there are some serious issues with services in this restaurant. Looks like other reviewers have had exactly the same issues so make up your own mind !

5 star food from soul burger as always. was really pleased with the great service we got here 2 weeks ago. since parra closed down we've been trying to find a new SB The gentleman serving was very kind and helpful. he went out of his way to make everything pleasant and easy for us and made us feel really welcome and was an all around star. I’m a meat eater, pure & simple. Stayed local, wanted a burger & Googled this place, thought a pub burger or go vegan! Apprehensive at first, particularly when I turned up & saw a burger place next door, but went with my instincts & didn’t look back! BBQ Bacon Burger with cheese added, all plant based, all very delicious with the sweet potato chips added, yummy!

It's 1h40m after I made the initial order and I'm still hungry - hello hangry review! If you want to risk your food arriving 2h late, buy soul burger using their app. Otherwise use uber eats (even though they charge you more using that, for the same food), to have insurance as a means to redress your grievance :-) Good luck and full bellies to you all!

Their new menu sent me! If previously the burgers were good, they are now decadent and delicious. Sydney sider trumps any burger ive ever had, vegan or not. Will now return for both shakes and burger ? Deserve all stars in google maps! -- Prev review: They offer quite a lot of options and named it based on the meat counterpart. The (vegan) beef and chicken choices were delicious, cant see why people like the jackfruit option, the flavour didnt remind me of any pulled pork and the the sauce were just sweet (needs to be more savoury). Bring your friends to enjoy the v beef and v chicken options. Their drinks though! I would return just for their shakes. 100% recommended. Location wise, it has a nice view and you can definitely bring 4-5 friends while still be comfy.
