I ordered via menulog for lunch as I was lazy to cook that time 😅 Well, it did not disappoint my cravings for vietnamese food. Crispy chicken has always been my favourite 🥰 and I love that they put vegetable side dishes. The tomato rice was not the same with the other restaurants I tried. This was a lil bit pale and less of tomato flavour/taste. The chargrilled pork was not the same I pictured on my mind. May be I missed reading the description. I was thinking of the usual pork bbq.

Signature BBQ pork chop and broken rice - absolutely delicious and so cheap too. The nem nuong skewers were also really good. Really friendly and quick service

Great Vietnamese eatery in Marrickville that serve vegan and normal Vietnamese dishes. 5/5 ⭐️ Chicken and tofu spring rolls (entrees) - delicious and crispy spring rolls. Freshly fry in fresh oil and high recommend. We asked them if we can order half chicken and half tofu as the dishes comes in 4 spring rolls at the same price. 4/5 ⭐️ Bun bo hue vegan - delicious vegan BBH soup dish. They used tofu and other vegan ingredients to substitute the meat in the BBH dish. Highly recommend to try 4/5 ⭐️ Normal bun Bo hue soup dish - my girlfriend enjoyed her BBH. Highly recommended. The restaurant overall experience was a 4/5. Very chilled and the service is amazing. You can see that the staff are trying their best to provide the best customer service as possible to all of their customers. We will be coming back again to try their other Vietnamese dishes.

Good food and even better customer service. The boss/owner is a lovely lady who leads by good example delivering excellent customer service to their customers. One of their staff who is a young lady wearing glasses is extremely friendly and cute looking too. That's how top customer service should be and other restaurants should take note like eat fuh at marrickville on the same street on Illawarra Road.

To the owners be careful when you are preparing your food, I ordered the sugar cane prawns woven noodle platter for delivery and there were hard rock-like pieces in the food that literally almost broke my teeth!! Happened multiple times. Also they forgot the sauce that’s supposed to come with it… how do you eat rice paper rolls without sauce?! Not a great first experience eating from here but the sugar cane prawns were tasty at least

Khoi is by far my partner and I's favourite Vietnamese in Sydney. The food is delicious, there are tons of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options, and the staff are lovely too. Our go-tos are the taro and tofu vermicelli noodles (such a wholesome combination), the braised beef pho (the broth is soo full of flavour), and the crispy skin chicken (yum!).

This place has great value for money. The pho lacked depth compared to other places we have been. But it should be noted that the pho was still delicious. I had a whole bowl plus extra from my sister. 👍🏼

Organised catering for mother's day and was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and well presented, the noodle soups were perfect for the chilly weather and tasted so flavoursome but clean and light. Highly recommend!

Delicious! Lemongrass chicken broken rice. The egg on the rice is a lovely addition. Everything was freshly prepared and tasty as. Have been here quite a lot and all of the dishes are tasty. Bonus points as all of the team love dogs! Eh icy you can sit outside and bring along.

A cozy and well-lit Vietnamese restaurant situated in the centre of Marrickville. I visit this place specifically for their Lemongrass beef vermicelli noodle salad, which is my preferred dish of its kind in all of Marrickville. It's always consistent, reasonably priced, and offers a delightful blend of freshness and flavours. Just can't go wrong.

Great and friendly service. Food taste is not the best in Sydney but definitely is delicious. Food portion and price are reasonable, especially considering their location nearer to the city. Will definitely come again.

May not be entirely "fair" review becoz I came here for my 2nd lunch (the portion of 1st place I went to only offered "snack size") ... that means I'm not that hungry thus could be overly critical. The Pho is good, everything I would expected from a reasonably good pho. There's only one recommendation I could think of ... may be ... to use Lime instead of Lemon could push this Pho further - from good to great. A pity that the Vietnamese Coffee I ordered never came. But it doesn't matters becoz I came for the Pho, coffee is just icing the cake. As a coffee lover I always have it BLACK, no sugar no cream. & it would have been a refreshing change from coffee made by expresso machine. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back to try out other dishes on their menu.

The grilled pork is absolutely to die for - moist and soft, packing a lot of flavour. The owner is incredibly nice and service is very quick.

Beef pho (noodle soup) ($18) tastes very good. Recommend 👍 Lemongrass beef with broken rice ($18) is a bit boring, lack of punch and coherence. Disappointed. $13 for 4 pieces of chicken springrolls is expensive, IMIO.

Of all the Vietnamese eateries along this strip this one seems to stand out. It’s a little restaurant with a big heart. From the second you walk in they are very attentive. Quick to take your order and just as quick to bring it out. They haven’t cheated out with anything. Portions are generous and flavour is to the max. Definitely a favourite of mine

Delicious, fresh food and lovely service ❤️ Every time I’ve gotten a meal here, I’ve been so satisfied with Khoi’s warm service and fresh food! My go to is the Tofu Broken Rice. I highly recommend you check them out for your next Viet food fix. I’ve been so happy to get the same food portions with takeaway through lockdown. Stay safe everyone ☺️

Authentic Vietnamese hits the spot every time. Dry egg noodles with grilled lemon grass pork chop is a fav. Had broken rice with pork chop and steamed pork roll today. Yum! Always friendly and comfy to eat in. Thanks guys! We’ll be back!!

Had chargrilled pork. It was alright in my opinion. My friends had fried rice, bun bo hue, pho ga. Bun bo hue doesn't have full toppings. One friend really liked the pho ga and finished all the soup.

First time here, and not the last. The beef pho was deep in flavour and one of the best. The crispy chicken was so tender and juicy. The lime beef salad fantastic. Get those diced chicken and mushroom spring rolls!!!! So much YES

Best Vietnamese place in innerwest, literally my go to at least once a week. We even order from work as well haha. Lemongrass chicken Vermicelli noodle is my favourite and vegan peking duck pancake is must try! Had chicken pho today for the first time, did not disappoint. Highly recommend

Ordered pork chop rice delivered via Doordash. Opted to pay an extra $1 each for bi and cha, and was given a tiny portion of each. Refer to top right corner in pic - standard serving size of both items should be at least 2/3 larger. Very disappointing considering the restaurant is charging extra for these items.

Got the bun Bo hue with high expectations following stellar reviews on tiktok. The broth was decent, flavourful, deep and clean. The cuts I included cha and brisket. The typical additions were all there, viet herbs, cabbage slaw, bean sprouts. A solid dish. My only bone to pick is the serving size. I was given 2 slices of cha and 3 slices of brisket, but a tiny handful of noodle. Coming from cabramatta where generous servings is typical and expected, I felt let down by this. It reminded me of Vietnam where soup was plentiful but you’re left scavenging for every last noodle at the bottom of the bowl to be full, and at $16/bowl it just doesn’t cut it. Dong ba at cabramatta is double the serving and for that, I’d pass on this place next time.

I'm quite sad to leave this review. When I sat down and ordered, the restaurant wasn't that busy with only two tables occupied. I ordered and the waitress checked it out and took the menu back. But the food I ordered didn't come out until all the tables in the restaurant were full, and people who came after were receiving the food. But I waited as I was excited thinking Vietnamese food and really hungry. After half an hour, the waitress who 'took my order' came up and asked again about the food to order. I said I've already ordered and been waiting for 30 minutes, but she just 'repeated' me asking what food I wanted to order without saying sorry. I had no choice but to leave the place without hearing a little word "sorry". After all, the only thing I tasted at this restaurant is a cup of tea. Thank you for ruining my mood. If I had heard just apology, I would have waited a little longer and eaten the food I was looking forward to, and you wouldn't have lost your customer.

An insult to Vietnamese cuisine Writing this review as a person who was raised in Vietnam and later came to Australia. In case the owners actually read this, the bì cuốn is tasteless, bánh tráng nướng is nowhere near the standard of ones we can get in Đà Lạt, and the price overall is so pricey for stingy portions. Avoid at all costs.

Very bland broth for pho, rice paper rolls were alright, crispy chicken was bland too. The restaurant is too small and cramped.

  • 5/5 Tian G. 3 years ago on Google
These beautiful people are going above and beyond. I ordered their special beef pho and rice paper rolls and was immediately impressed by the sustainable but also very functional, packaging, the fact that they had neatly arranged the additions around the noodles, the fact that the soup was in a robust container and that they even included paper instructions for how to reheat the soup and prepare. Onto the food: the soup was full of body and umami and no msg depression and was accompanied by rice noodles with correct texture and generous additions (creamy tendon etc etc.) Very well priced as well! Thank you so much, Khoi Eatery for doing the right thing and putting love into your pho, packaging it with love for the environment and pricing it correctly.

The best Bun Bo Hue I have had in Sydney. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Pho, and Sate that is served on the side are also fantastic.

Of the numerous excellent Viet' restaurants in Marrickville this is a bit of a dark horse, and after much deliberation (eating) it's come to be my favourite. Concise but varied menu on which literally every dish is great with clearly labeled (and delicious) vegan options.

Ordered pho and bun bo hue from here via ubereats several times now. The food is consistently high quality and tasty. The packaging it arrives in shows the dedication to quality and customer service as well as thank you note for supporting them during covid. As a Viet person, the bun bo hue is on point for me.

I have been here a couple of times and found their food to be really good across the board, with my favourite dish being the signature pork chop with rice. That pork chop was just perfect, tasty, crunchy and juicy at the same time. My only complaint was that the dish did not come with bigger portions! In addition, dishes had nice modern presentations and the eating environment was also kept clean and tidy.

Ordered the rare beef Pho as takeaway due to the eat in restrictions at the time. Had all the usual condiments, fresh herbs and chilli. Very well packaged for takeaway noodle soup which made it easy to eat on the run at the office. Good sized beef portions and extra soup base. Almost as good as eating in.
