If you are seeking an authentic taste of Vietnam you are never disappointment when food is brought out to the table. Casual dining and close to the city. The Pho, the mien, the rice and even to the congee your tastebuds are immediately taken to the streets of Vietnam, whether you've been there or not.

Their Phos never disappoint. The broth is unique and authentic. Strongly recommend Free range chicken Pho. Generous portion too.

Being transported to Ha Noi may be a concept requiring some pause of late. But I think there's plenty to recommend this place as a safer option. The food is home cooked, and largely pretty tasty, though not always the "full invasion" of texture and spice you might find 8 hours away. The fresh spring rolls have it all going on: tastier than any I've had since making the trip past the once DMZ. The special beef soup is about as special as Kathmandu perpetual sale, but does the trick. The salt and pepper tofu is a step above the norm, and the rest goes as you would expect. The bill is paid by bank transfer, which may cause distress. You'll be told the damage verbally...trust is a beautiful thing. If you love continuously watching skate attempting escape (which I would caution them against) their glass cell, you'll be in heaven here...me? I would prefer the de rigeur travel posters...

One of the best pho places in Sydney. Their Pho flavours are more towards the northern style (Hanoi), which is very different from those at restaurants in Bankstown or Cabbramatta (i.e. southern style).

The food here was pretty average. Many of the dishes were a bit bland for my liking. The service was fast however and staff reasonably friendly. The prices were also pretty cheap which is a plus. Honestly the highlight for me was the sting rays in the many tanks along the wall, which are great to watch.

Not a fancy place! A little dark and messy looking from outside. Do not let it fool you. It offers the cheapest and biggest portion of Pho in the city. Very delicious Pho! I like beef option more than chicken. Vietnamese families come here and chat with the owner. Lots of food options and all taste pretty good. Pho is still the best though! :)

A reasonable Vietnamese restaurant with the normal range of pho, soups and rice paper rolls etc. This is one of many Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The combination beef pho was good to above average and likewise with the prawn rice paper roll. On the negative side, it can noisy due to some customers being loud, with little regard to other guests in the small restaurant. Also, the condiments containers are a bit dirty. This is not an upmarket restaurant, and is rather basic, so not ideal if you are looking for a special place to impress someone. Overall however the pho was good and could be worth another try for a quick and inexpensive meal. Thank you.

Always great value. Very tasty Pho. Excellent service. Authentic Vietnamese and certainly not one of those pretentious places. I travelled to be here.

Best pho I’ve ever had in Sydney. The broth was sooo flavourful. Spring rolls stuffed with tasty ingredients. Salt pepper squid has great texture that frozen one can’t give. Pickled garlic on the side

Second time I've come here in 3 days! The beef brisket pho is rich, authentic, big, and super affordable. Got chatting with one of the chefs and found out his parents started the restaurant 20 years ago. Comfort food in a comfortable relaxed, and unassuming restaurant. Welcoming and quick service.

Love it here, there’s a reason they always have people coming and going all day and night. My goto is the rice with pork dish. It’s amazing and only $14!!!! Comes with salad, soup and 2 crispy gluten free lemongrass pork chops. Go try it 😋

Love this place. Always attentive service and hearty, proper Vietnamese fare. Young fella that runs the shop most days around lunch time is really friendly and never forgets a face or conversation.

Best pho we’ve had in a while; the soup is flavourful and the portion is generous for the price. The staff are also really nice. Can’t wait to be back!

Better than your mums, and mine (sorry mum) Up there with Sydney’s institutions (Pho An, Pho Ann, Pho Tau Bay) Quality cuts of meat, noodles not over cooked, friendly service, generous servings.

Love this place! Great service and the food, particularly the combination pho, is fantastic. My personal favourite pho in Sydney 👍

I was disappointed to see the same hand used for cleaning tables and handling Do Chua (pickled carrots) , hand picked from the bucket, in this family-run establishment. The restaurant was quite dirty, with a noticeable layer of dust on the fans. The Pho was okay, but the crispy chicken was overcooked. The atmosphere was crowded and disorganized, with patrons sitting extremely close and passing condiments over one another. The place was busy, but it's not for me. To each their own.

When a place is full of locals, it must be good.... this place has really good food. The flavours are nice too, with slightly different spices being used as they are from the north and the Pho dac biet I had was delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu soon

First time trying Hanoi (Northern) style pho and liked it very much. The broth is less sweet than Southern-style, more savoury, and they also like to load it up with herbs. I had the pho tai lan in which the beef is seared in a hot wok with garlic before being added to the bowl - it added another dimension to the dish and was very nice indeed.

Their pho is one of the best in Sydney. The broth was packed with flavour and had so many layers to it. I loved that the broth had flavours of garlic, shallots and also chicken. They don’t skimp on the bean sprouts, mint or fresh cut chilli either. Tables also have all the chilli condiments you could want, and a container with pickled garlic which goes beautifully in the pho. The fried to order bread sticks are a must have, dunk them in the pho broth and leave them to soften and soak up all the flavours. The fried pork chop was spectacular as well, and came with an unassuming looking, but mind blowing chicken soup.

Delicious! Definitely recommend you come try this place. The pho serving is very generous with lots of meat. The chicken ribs came out very hot from the kitchen and seasoned very well.

Hands down the best Ha Noi style pho outside of Vietnam!!! What a hidden gem, located in the streets of Marrickville. Been coming here for years and the food is always impeccable. Broth is beautiful, love that it's a small family owned business (support your local!), and might have a crush on the cute chef. 🙈 A treat for the senses.

Always my go-to restaurant for pho, for some reason I love the feeling of having the pho here, feels like mum’s cooking, it’s comforting and delicious! A family-owned small restaurant with friendly vibes. Must try!

We love this place and have been coming here for years!! The pho is delicious (and the fried bread)… the owners are friendly and hospitable. I don’t get my pho anywhere else!

☺ THE GOOD: Pho is very tasty with lots of meat. 😐 THE NOT SO GOOD: please change to ceramic instead of plastic cutleries and bowls. The broth can be a bit less salty 😃 THE BEST: their sate sauce is homemade and very well balanced. The fried rice is also the best compared to other restaurants

Best pho I’ve ever had! And quite the friendly staff. Highly recommend, they’re a hidden gem in Marrickville.

We visited this old place recently and were quite surprised that the interior is now renovated and look nicer. We ordered two dishes, i.e. steam-rice with shaking beef and their signature dish of stir-fried rice noodle with sliced beef. Both dishes are good but we especially like the rice noodle (pho xao thit bo). The cooking technique is great and the ingredients (e.g. beef) are fresh and good quality. On the next visit, we also ordered the Hanoi-style pho dac biet soup and rice vermicelli bun salad with grilled pork. They're all nice dishes and we love the soup with more scallions and cilantro making it more aromatic to enjoy. The beef meats and meatballs are also nice. Service and ambience are great for a small suburban eatery. We love the fact that they put lots of Vietnamese condiments on the table and especially loved the chilly satay sauce and the chopped chilly with vinegar. The prices on the menu are reasonable and you can pay with credit cards (inc Amex) with no surcharge.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
