Discovered this place via The Fork. Best Thai lunch specials around. I ordered the pork pad see ew. I was impressed by the value, food quality and taste. Food was really enjoyable. Restaurant was quiet for a Saturday lunchtime so it was bit tricky trying to catch the waitress's attention at times (think she was keeping herself busy doing other tasks behind the counter). Nonetheless, I will be coming back. I definitely recommend this place.

Always great! Our local Thai, the food is always fresh and a decent portion. The Chicken Pra Ram Long Song is the go to, heaps of beautifully cooked chicken with the wonderful mix of the satay sauce and veg.

Great Thai restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of the main area of Marrickville. There is always plenty of parking in the surrounding streets. The food here is always good and great value for money - especially lunch times! Staff are always friendly even though they get very busy at times Highly recommended.

We have been to De Lanna many times and would, up until this evening, have shared the positive reviews. I hope this evening isn’t the start of a trend. We stood around for some time waiting to be seated. We ended up then having to fetch our own menus and, having been further ignored, went to to the counter to order. Then the climax. The first mouthful of beef in my Thai beef salad was tough. Several subsequent pieces included chunks of gristle. I ploughed on hoping for improvement. I ended up finding a piece of bone and 4 more un-chewable pieces. I took the plate up when I went to pay. After a long conference in the kitchen I was simply told that the kitchen had been advised and that maybe it was just overcooked. I said it wasn’t just cooking, it was poor quality meat. I then signalled that I didn’t feel I should have to pay for the dish. Another kitchen conference and the manager said that since I’d eaten the dish, I’d have to pay half. This is not how to treat customers if you want them back. An early acknowledgment of the issue and some form of offer early on- even half- would have avoided the unpleasant taste left by this experience.

Absolutely delicious food, aromatic, authentic, very satisfying and beautifully presented, and very reasonably-priced too. A great selection of dishes--we loved the Northern Thai ones especially. Nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, and a full bar. It's situated rather unexpectedly by itself in a residential area of Addison St Marrickville but don't let that put you off, this truly is a gem, one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to. Highly recommended.

AMAZING FOOD, HUGE PORTIONS, & SUPER AFFORDABLE PRICES. My husband and I went there on a whim and tried the satay chicken skewers, Pad Thai, & Garlic stir fry. Absolutely nothing bad I can say about this place. Plus, they were quick to serve and the place was very clean despite being by busy. We will definitely be back!

Had the massaman beef curry with rice which was absolutely delicious. This joint is located inside Marrickville metro and also, there’s plenty of free parking, both in the shopping centre and outside too. Prices are reasonable and the service is awesome too. Highly recommend this place to everyone when your in Marrickville.

Been her a couple times now, love the local restaurant here. They open quite late and we are always able to get take away or dine-in at our unusual time for a meal. The service here is nice and friendly. The choices you have on the menu sometimes I feel is endless. Have yet to try everything on the menu but everything we have tries so far has been great. Must try their duck curry!

We drove past this restaurant on Friday night and noticed this is a new one we haven't been. So, we make the reversation for Saturday night and we got there and looked at the menu and we both said this looks good and we ordered the prawn cakes and the charcoal bbq pork and they tastes good the charcoal is in real charcoal tastes with that little burned. Not like most restaurants they done it on the hotplate if you know what I mean. We order the lambshank curry and the crying tiger and both tastes good. The foods are tasty and the service is great and the portions are big. Over all we give this 10 out of 10 and we'll go back to try other dishes. Well done and see you soon 👍😊

This was an awesome little find with some quite enjoyable food! The highlight for the night was definitely the massaman lamb shank with the tender meat falling off the bone very easily and coming apart like melted butter with the full experience of the spices and seasonings used. Definitely had to pour the rest of the rice into the curry to not put it to waste once the lamb was finished. The pad see ew was unfortunately a bit bland and beef was slightly over cooked but still relatively enjoyable! We also ordered the soft shell crab which was well seasoned and freshly fried with a hearty portion of fresh salad on the bottom. This made for a great entree and overall a wonderful experience and would try their other curries in the future!!

Good value Bah Mee Kiew Moo Dang ($10.90) lunch at De Lanna Thai Street Cuisine in Marrickville. Relishing the opportunity to dine in the sunshine at an outdoor table before the weekend’s predicted rain. Amped this popular Thai street food noodle dish with some ballistic red chilli. Nose running as a result, so now I look like I have the ‘Rona. Got some Saioua ($12.90) to take home. This spicy, herbal Northern Thai pork sausage is a De Lanna speciality, attracting many Thai people to visit the tucked away suburban restaurant just to purchase it.

First time visit as we were in the area and thought we try something new. We order: - Kao soi Gai, it was okay but would have been nicer with more soup - chicken green curry, on the spicier side which was great however green beans were overcooked and bamboo flavourless - pad thai was a much drier style and thinner noodle. It had flavour though I much prefer a thicker noodle and saucier pad thai. - chicken chilli jam was easy to eat - rice was overcooked and mushy Good to try something, but not to cry home about.

It was okay but I wouldn't go back. Veggie spring rolls tasted like they were months past the use by date; my meal, veggie w cashew nut was tasty but came out almost 10 mins before my mate's; I paid for extra broccoli but there wasn't any extra.

Food was delicious, service was good. No complaints there. However there was a slight issue with the food arriving a little spaced out. I received my food about 5-10 mind after my partner received hers. I'm sure there was a good explanation however and I'd definitely recommend this place.

This restaurant is reliably good. We regularly get takeaway and sometimes dine in. We have never had a problem with service even when they are busy. It's quite a big menu and we haven't tried everything but our favourites are curry puffs, green curry, stir fry with basil and chilli, pad see ewe noodles and BBQ chicken. We have always found the food fresh and the serves generous. Very good value at around $20pp for plenty of food. BYO.

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
