Woolworths Marrickville Metro is located near the main entrance of the Marrickville Metro , It is one of the largest woolworths stores on the area, with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables , flowers also fresh bakery products. it is likely you will find what you are looking for in this store.

The worst customer’s service experience that i’ve ever got in my life. The cashier lady named “Helena” was too rude and kinda of racist to me as an Asian customer. She was nice and friendly to the first customer but her attitude changed when she served me. I asked for 2 plastic reusable bags and I suggested her to use one for my fresh products and another one for the cleaning products. Then she responded “i’ve been working and packing for 10 years so you don’t have to teach me how to do it”. I just ignored and let her continue her job. When i was about to make the payment, i just show her that i’d like to pay via eftpos. She was upset again, she told me that i have to tell her how i would like to pay and she was not supposed to ask that. I’ve never been treated like this in any Woolworth. Especially, i’m working at the foodcourt of Marrickville Metro Shopping for 9 years and i always shop at this Woolworth almost everyday. And this was the worst and unforgettable experience. To the cashier, You’re a grandma and you would like customers to respect you, however, you should respect your customers first.

This is a really nice Woolworths at Marrickville Metro.. the whole shopping centre is quite nice. This Woolies is huge! The size if the drinks fridge as you enter the store is amazing! Staff are nice. Plenty of free parking. Great place to shop.

Disappointing experience with self checkout. I was flagged as having not paid for items by the AI camera system because I had spare reusable bags in my trolley and the machine couldn't process my Google Pay twice. If Woolworths are going to replace all the staffed checkouts with machines, at least ensure they work properly. You never have these issues at Aldi here

Impressive selection of fresh produce and butcher section. Need more bins in store for customer rubbish as saw a lot of customer rubbish. Speed of deli needs to improve to meet customer demand. Easy parking and fast checkout. Convenient BWS attached to store

The staff at the check out over charge you and when you advise them they make you wait for over 30 minutes. The supervisor Sharna has no idea, no communication skills or customer service. She doesn't even know how to do a refund. Beware please check your receipts. This Woolworths store over charges and doesn't even match shelf prices or catalogue prices. The quality of the Fruit and Veg is very poor thats why the lights are dimmed. It is the most expensive store in the Inner west. My suggestion would be to shop elsewhere, I will from now on.

It’s a nice store with two counters where you can purchase food from woolies and alcohol from B&W very convenient. Won’t give 5 stars because the staff at the registers working quite slow.. compare to another stores

I love Marrickville Metro and I use to love shopping at the woolworths there, but since this new manager started the store has gone downhill. He likes to dress like the workers, but doesn't do any of the work.He seems to spend his time and days off snooping on staff. The overall atmosphere in the place has changed for the worse.

Average to "please replace me with automated services" level customer service. Have met management... sad Westfarmers don't support their own intercontinental subversion's of "value". *Support the shareholders!!! ... ;)

Bought two KP mangoes for $2.50 each about a week ago. I was careful to select the best ones. When I cut them up, I had to throw away half of them because they were so bruised. The bruising affected the taste. I paid full price. If they were on special I would understand but they were not.

Absolutely terrible experience - no trolleys, staff totally disinterested, shelves empty, no management around, no logical order to finding anything in he store. Fruits and vegetables old. Way more expensive than any other Woolworths or Coles. Terrible experience. One star is too much

I had the most amazing cashier serve me. Her name was Adele, and she took pride in her job and was extremely careful in packing my groceries. This will be my saturday night date night. I hope Adele serves me again ❤

Self serve check outs are a bane on society. Then to have the nerve to accuse me of stealing when you've also made me do the work of a check out operator and you've recorded my face up close without my consent is wrong on so many levels. Record profits, excessive inflation, consistently ripping off farmers and still owing more pokie machines than any other company in NSW, woollies is a symbol of everything that is wrong with our crumbling society. Stop filing us up close without our consent - there are enough cameras in the store already. Remove the self serve checkout and bring back customer service and jobs. Do better all round woolies

Only contemporary woolies for miles. Safe and civilised environment. The neatest Woolies with so many customers. The shelf stocking staff are polite and the isles are big enough for them to work without putting customers at risk. This one stands out for class and hygiene and staff.

One of the best supermarkets in Sydney, shelves always stacked full, good fresh fruit & Veg, good customer service from the Managers to the checkout.

This store does not answer their phone. Made a large bread order, and needed to make a change. Phoned repeatedly over 1/2 hour. It just rang out. Have given up. What a waste of bread.

I don't shop here if i can help it. Had to join rewards to avoid just simply being ripped off. Very expensive and staff aren't particularly friendly. They will let the checkout queues grow because they want you to use self-serve. They stock some things i need and the quality is good, but I'd prefer they made goods cheaper instead of having to rack up points to save literally anything.

What a nightmare, too busy, shelves are never stocked adequately. Parking issues. Never go on a weekend. I now travel 15 minutes out of my way, or alternatively go to Coles across the road.

Great supermarket with all the sections well stocked. Wish I had one closer to my house like this. Staff were very helpful and friendly too.

A little bit of everything here. Prices were reasonable in most shops. Plenty of food in the food court. Woolies Coles Aldi and a humongous fruit shop packed with everything. I was able to buy everything I wanted. I walked to the centre so don't know about parking.

Not a good Woolies, they often run out of basic items like garlic, free range chicken thighs, gnocchi, puff pastry, and Maille wholegrain mustard. Their fish section is an actual health hazard. Staff are for the most part friendly but there are a couple of really unfriendly and unprofessional ones and 2 times now I have had checkout people overfill my bags to the point that they burst on the way out of the shop, it just happened again about half an hour ago. So I lost at least $50 worth of items due to them being covered in exploded milk.. Sort yourselves out.

This is probably the most modern woolworths I’ve been to and is by far the best in Sydney. Just wish that woolworths still opened till midnight.

I would argue that the store is not LGBTQ friendly. Had many a negative experience in this store. Why do supermarket staff think they are hosting a nightclub? You're shelf stackers and checkout persons. Please act accordingly and do the role with some respect to the customers. I'm not here for your r3ligi0n or small village attitudes... simply do your job and not bother people!

The manned checkouts take a lifetime and the staff might need more training. This Woolies is also afflicted by the nationwide problem of Sunday arvos at the supermarket being the bain of our collective existence. That being said, the range at this one is excellent, it's always stocked and clean. They have better sales than Coles too. They also noticeably carry a lot more of the seasonal stock compared to other stores which is great because the seasonal stock is the best. Case in point, see photo attached.

Always a pleasant experience to shop here. Very helpful, friendly, courteous staff and Managers. Whatever items I miss at Campbelltown Mall Woolworths, always available here... amazing...!!!🙏

Dead set saw a guy walk in and get a green bag and walk out through the entrance. Unfortunately staff unable to act feel sorry for how easily and blatantly this was done.
